I can not recommend Thomas enough. As someone who struggled to get the confident to cross the line of the full test for YEARS I can whole heartedly say Thomas played the biggest role in my success, Patience, knowledgable and always at the end of the phone of any questions. I have tried a couple of instructors but not until I started my lessons with Thomas did it finally start to click!!Thomas taught me the tools to drive and enjoy it not just focus on the test, he took time on every lesson and gave insightful tools on how to get that pass! He is a gentleman and a credit to National Driving School, what an ambassor l, a great representive of them. If I could give 100000 stars I would. If you are looking for a driving instructor, I would recommend in a heartbeat!! Thank you Thomas and National Driving School for teaching me the skills I needed to confidently and success obtain my license.

I did some extra lessons and a pre test with Fergal and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! I have been driving for a while but had a bad experience with my last instructer so i was quite an anxious driver. Within minutes of my first lesson with Fergal I felt comfortable and for the first time confident within my abilities. No question was too silly, no error was too embarrassing. I could tell how much Fergal cared and believed in me, it was an amazing learning environment he created. Fergal made sure to let me know my strengths and what I was doing well as well as what I would do wrong which helped me keep my confidence up and not fall into any bad driving habits. I went on to pass my driving test today first time with only two slight faults! I truly recommend Fergal to anyone he is amazing at his job!

I really appreciate Mike’s lessons, he has been very kind, enthusiastic on my lessons and is balanced on keeping the lesson fun and less stressful while also making sure I was aware of the mistakes I’ve made on the road. I also learned some Irish culture and heritage with Mike.

Although I failed my first test but the tester was surprised that was my first attempt, that explains the quality of Mike’s lesson.

Highly recommend Mike for whoever wants to take driving test on Tallaght, it is easier if you followed his advice.

I did a mock test with Chris a few days before my driving test and it was the best thing I ever did. He had so much insight into what the testers are looking for and really helped me fix so many small mistakes that other instructors had missed. He was so supportive and positive, he made the mock test feel so much less scary! After the test he sent me so many links to videos and theory notes that he had made which were also a massive help. Chris even texted me the morning of my test wishing me luck which was so lovely. Thanks so much Chris, I couldn’t have done it without you!

I highly recommend Barney Clarke as a driving instructor. He was always patient, calm, and super professional during every lesson. He explained everything clearly and helped me build confidence behind the wheel. He is giving all the tools to become an excellent driver. Thanks to his support and guidance, I felt well prepared for my driving test. I always felt comfortable asking questions, and he made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. I’m very grateful for all his help and would definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

i had 2 instructors from national driving school. i had darragh for my 12 lessons and then dima for a few pre test lessons. two amazing teachers i passed my test first time. thanks lads

I did a pre-test lesson/mock test with Krzys, and it helped me so much in passing my test the first time! He took me around the Mulhuddart test centre, which was so helpful in familiarising myself with the area. He also gave me detailed advice on what areas I needed to improve and the things to keep in mind during my test. It helped a ton and I couldn’t be happier!

I did 2 pretest lessons with Dima from National Driving School. I would really recommend him, he was very kind and reassured me that I was a good driver and that I had a good chance of passing which helped boost my confidence. However, he still pointed out what I needed to work on (positioning) for which I then no marks on in my actual test! He was also very chatty and friendly which made me feel more comfortable! Thank you!

I recently completed my driving test successfully, and I would like to sincerely thank my instructor, Paul, for his excellent guidance and support.

His pretest driving session was incredibly helpful and well-structured. He clearly identified the areas I needed to improve and provided practical, easy-to-follow advice that made a real difference to my confidence and driving skills. His calm and professional approach helped me stay relaxed and focused throughout.

I did my 6 EDT lessons with Jay Tallant and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! Even though I have driven in my home country for over a decade, I still needed to adapt to the Irish system and Jason was infinitely supportive and knowledgable! His presence was calm, encouraging and friendly. From day one until today when I passed my test in first attempt, Jay was exceptional and he paid attention to the smallest details which made everything go smoothly! I couldn’t recommend him enough’

I had my lessons with Michael Slattery and I passed!! I would have not passed without micks detailed lessons / his constant reminders on observations and redoing areas on where I found most. Challenging.
Micks approach is very calm and comforting - he is very flexible and understanding and his goal is to get you to pass and he will do that once you do the work with him!

Highly recommend Mick, he is patient, a really nice guy and a brilliant teacher. Thanks Mick Beep Beep!

Conor was extremely helpful in preparing me prepare for my driving test. He’s very patient and gave me all the material i needed. He has excellent advice and I passed my test first time thanks to him! Would definitely recommend Conor to anyone looking for pretest lessons.

I did my lessons and 2 pre-tests with Michael Slattery, absolutely nothing bad I can say about him and the driving school. Michael was patient and really worked with you to help you pass. As someone who had bad driving experiences previously it was very reassuring to have someone like Michael help you learn effectively. Passed no problem due to Michael's guidance 😄

Just passed my driving test and it is all thanks to Mick. Best driving instructor ever. It took me awhile to build up my confidence in the car but now with all Micks patience and expertise I thoroughly enjoy it 😊

Highly recommend Chris in Dun Laoghire for EDT driving lessons. He is an experienced driving instructor, really enjoyed every learning session.

I had Paul as my instructor, I did the EDT lessons and pre-tests with him. Thanks to him I passed my test today! He is a wonderful instructor, patient and always provided thorough and very helpful feedback after each lessons.
