I recently completed my ADI 3 training with Michael from Airport Driving School and am very pleased with the experience and test results. The training was well-structured, informative, and tailored to develop my instructional skills and driving competence to a high standard. I highly recommend this training to anyone pursuing their ADI qualification. He deserved 4 stars.

Colin was an amazing instructor with my daughter. Helped settle her nerves before test and she passed first time.

Very rude instructor in the cork office who didn't even want to do the lessons either me....wouldn't tell me what I needed to do the test but told me I'd need another 10 to 15 lessons in the truck....AVOID as they only care about profit

Absolutely brilliant 2 hour lesson done with Michael, he is very experienced , the main thing that stood out to me was his care for his students, and talking you through everything as we went along with the lesson

I passed my test in finglas today thanks to my instructor Margaret. She helped me to pass my test first time and made sure that I was ready for my test. Would highly recommend

Passed my D Licence first time thanks to the instructor Vasile – an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. His teaching style was clear, structured and tailored to my needs, making what can be a stressful process feel calm and achievable. His technique is spot‑on, his patience is endless, and his constant professionalism truly sets him apart. Vasile not only prepares you technically but also builds your confidence behind the wheel, which made all the difference on test day. Without hesitation, I recommend him to anyone serious about passing safely and successfully – he is simply the best at what he does.

I did three lessons with Andre before my test, and it was honestly the reason I passed. I learned so much I didn’t know in such a short space of time, he didn’t rush through anything and he made sure I fully understood before moving on. Two of my friends also just passed their tests after lessons with him.

I had my first EDT in a year with John and he had me on the roads in no time. He made me feel extremely comfortable and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable!! I have had two more EDT’s since and each just as good as the first and would highly recommend!!

Martin was an amazing driving instructor from start to finish. He was patient, calm, and always explained things clearly, which really helped build my confidence behind the wheel. He made every lesson relaxed and stress-free, and he took the time to focus on any areas I struggled with until I felt fully prepared. His support and encouragement made a huge difference, and thanks to him I passed my driving test. I’d highly recommend Martin to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable instructor.

Mags is the very best. She goes into details on observations and safety. I would recommend her any day any time.

I had my first EDT lesson with Marcin today and he was great. Explained things very clearly and was patient and knowledgeable. Already booked in with him for another lesson.

I had a positive experience with Cork Airport Driving School overall and passed my driving test on the first attempt.

I am an experienced driver from outside the EU. I completed the reduced EDT programme and a mock test with Dermot, and I was very happy with the experience. At the beginning, I felt a bit stressed due to a long break from driving and the need to adjust to driving a manual car on the left side of the road. Dermot was extremely supportive, calm, and patient. He explained everything clearly and in an easy-to-understand way, which helped me a lot.

Due to the long waiting time for the practical test and a lack of regular driving practice, I did not perform very well at my mock test and was advised to take an additional 6–8 lessons. As my test date was approaching, I completed the next 6 lessons with another instructor, Michal, and I was also very satisfied. He trained me thoroughly and helped me improve significantly, and as a result, I passed my practical driving test on the first attempt.

Both instructors were excellent. Their approach, attitude, and the overall teaching process were professional and very supportive.

My only concern relates to the school’s organisation and administration. Booking is done only by phone, which can lead to mistakes in the details provided. After payment, there is no clear written breakdown explaining what exactly you paid for and how much each item costs. At my first booking, I believe I was sold an additional option (something like a pass guarantee, a discount on future lessons in case of test failure if I understood correctly), but I never received any written confirmation, so I am not sure how I would have used it if needed.
It was also a surprise to learn after my mock test that I could not rent a car unless I completed the recommended minimum number of lessons. I would have preferred to be informed about this clearly during my very first phone call, especially as this requirement almost doubled the total cost compared to what I initially expected.

Despite these organisational issues, I am very grateful to both instructors and would still recommend the school for the quality of driving instruction.

Done my 12 edt lessons with instructor John. Passed the test first time within 4 months from first sitting in a car. Was a great help, never had any problems. Would 100% recommend

Came here with my school today as someone who’ll hopefully be driving in a few years, staff is all sound & makes the experience much better by just being chatty & helpful the whole time, especially Gareth and Aaron,! Would recommend them for future reference to anybody if you’re worried about getting stuck with a melter. Overall it was a great experience and definitely boosted my confidence for the future. Definitely will come back! :) really easy.
