Adventure Travel bus company is shockingly bad after causing an accident in Bishopston - bus No 14.. They refused to give insurance details at the scene. They ignore all communications from the insurers and still haven’t given insurance details. I have had to slam on the breaks before because they drive at inappropriate speeds in single track lanes. They are a pest of a service. Please please please let us have a proper professional bus company operating this route. They are so unprofessional. If I could give zero stars, I would…. Oh and when speaking to the bus driver at the scene of the accident on 26 March 2026 he proudly announces - it’s my first accident this year!!!!

The company has now decided to torture its passengers with a non-stop automated voice in English and in Welsh that tells you each bus stop you are approaching, when you are at the bus stop and then what the next bus stop is coming. This is a constant voice because the stops between each bus stop is often so short. It is VERY ANNOYING and has destroyed what was a peaceful bus journey and turned it into some hellish experience. You can't even talk to your fellow passengers because of this continuous computer voice drowning out everyone and making everyone miserable. I hope that whoever put these into the buses ends up in a Hell where they have to endure this noise riding around on one of their own buses 24 hours a day for a lifetime.

Busses are crap and uncomfortable

Absolutely dreadful for time keeping & mostly not turning up at all. This relates to the c1 & has been going on for months so much so I have to leave home 1.5hrs early for work because they never turn up.

Our 118 bus was supposed to go to Port Eynon but turned towards Swansea at Scurlage. This meant we had a two mile walk along a busy main road to reach our destination.
When asked, the driver said that the bus could not turn round in Port Eynon and there would be no further services to Port. Eynon that evening. This was clearly untrue as the roundabout at the Port Eynon terminus was completely clear and a bus arrived as we reached the village.
At no point did he ask us where we were going or explain in advance that the bus would not go to Port Eynon.
In addition the driver was rude to a foreign tourist, asking her: " where, where, where" aggressively.

Overall then this experience of NAT transport was very poor indeed

No buses yet again after 6pm tonight , the number 14 (Swansea to Pennard) disappeared off the app and having contacted transport for Wales (waste of my time) none the wiser. How many other firms wouldn't run a 2 hourly service. Over the last few months some of their buses have been wrecks,

Worked for this company as a bus cleaner for two months, done everything cleaned the buses top to bottom manager even supplied me with hoover and steam mop, I complained to manager of Swansea that one of the drivers put me in serious danger driving a bus at 10pm on the roads with me in it showing off 70 miles an hour nearly had a crush and when I complained he said I am going to put it forward write a statement write a statement and he never followed it up then two months after he sacked three of our good workers with no explanation he made someone else sack us the guy said the buses are not up to standard that’s why which I know is wrong cause the manager alway praised my work I also got under paid by 6 hours and never had the money for it

Two weeks ago the bus broke down at singleton hospital , I had to wait in poring rain for lift home ., last week the driver clipped the wheels on the kerb that made a terrible sound all way home , so glad to get off , today the driver had run in with some car driver at the lights the drive in a very loud voice shouted back you p…k and to f..k off , the bus is full of all ages including children I know for one I don’t appreciate hearing this from passengers never mind your staff ..

Calculated my bus has a 50% chance of being late since june. I noted every time it arrived and dropped me at work since june. When I sent them this information, they said they cant do anything about it. This morning they didnt even despatch a bus to us. Shocking

For one I think your staff needs more training on being polite to their customers rather than being rude and 2 they need to stop looking at people with special needs as a virus 😠 😡 👿

I've only given a one because I can't give a zero rating. I saw the bus at a stop in Canton in Cardiff last night, it was across the road so I crossed and gestured to the driver I wanted to get on and, when I got to the door to get on, the driver sped off. For all their faults, Cardiff Bus drivers have never done this, they always let people on when this happens. I can understand now why why NAT buses are never even close to being full. Shocking behaviour from a professional driver

Made late by bus not turning up tried phoning no answer this company is a joke turn up when they want do you as a company read reviews 90 percent bad reviews do you care that bus service is run bad don't look like it I will be reporting this to the press my cousin works for them if there was a way to put no stars I would shocking service but don't seem to care if it is or not .

Can I put no stars? Worst bus company I've ever experienced. Not only do the buses never arrive on time, the drivers are so rude and really don't care that their making people's life difficult, making them late for work and other commitments. I've had bus drivers chewing their gum, being rude and basically having "I don't give a s... " attitude towards their job.

Wish there was another way for me to get to work, though at this rate I might loose it due to continuously being late.

Have travelled to London 5times with Adventure travel & will not be the last...A beautiful 75 roomy seater bus with toilet on board...we had Neil and Teresa drive us and can't say enough good about them...always very accommodating , friendly & fun. All round great experience....Ever single person in the bus thoroughly appreciated them

The worst bus service in the UK. Always late, random buses don't turn up. Rude drivers. Doesn't matter how many times you complain nothing changes and Never a reason for buses not even showing up.

This service really requires a minus star rating. Are 99 % of these drivers trained in the Army Battalion of Miserableness & Ignorance ?
I must congratulate the Drill Sergeant because he has trained them to PERFECTION !!!!
I say if you don't like the job then GET OUT !!!!.
Surely the management must look at the companies reviews and take some Serious action.

Not even worth the 1 star! Once again bus is late for my daughter to go to school. I don't know how many times I have rang NAT and the school to complain about the constant late arrival of the school bus to take them to school and sometimes on the return journey.
Only two days ago they were 45 mins late because the driver didn't know the route and ended up taking the children on a scenic route of Cardiff! And the worst thing is I have to pay for this service as it's the only quickest route to get my daughter to school NAT sort yourself out make your drivers aware of their route, take note of the constant complaints, ditch the fossil buses and invest in some decent ones that don't break down every 5 mins and do something about it!

Unfortunately I could not select 0 stars. This service is pathetic, avoid at all costs. A donkey would be more reliable. Over priced, unreliable, constantly late with dim wit drivers who get lost and crash into low bridges. Children get detention as late for school due to this poor service, and are late home as the buses break down weekly. Cannot believe they are allowed to operate this way, an absolute disgrace with non- existing customer service. Nat group is more expensive for school fares than cardiff bus and are not fit to provide school children with a reliable service. Unfortunately they are the only service that provide a direct route so have no other option

The NAT Group around the 117/118 where I live are a bunch of con artists the price for a ticket £7.50!

I'm initially a Student where the previous few weeks back I used my "Student ID Card" to get the £3 Deal - Great! So I needed to go into Swansea and did the same thing. But the Driver wouldn't accept my Card.

I'm classed as the "outer zone" yet just up the road about a 10 minute walk £4.50 as it's the "Inner zone" what a load of rubbish this bus service is.

The bus drivers has no manners at all and they are always late like one time its pouring with rain and really cold weather maybe about -1 to -5 degrees Celsius. On the other side going culverhouse cross I saw all 4 buses at the same time going there and coming back to Pontprennau the 2 of them came to the bus stop. I been on these buses for couple of months and its always been like this and there excuse is "traffic sorry" I mean like how come I been on this bus route X1 for 2 to 4 months for school and the reason is traffic every day Monday to Friday.
Also, the buses are really dirty and the seats are soo uncomfortable, my back was hurting a lot which only took 4 days.
