Пряма приналежність: Сайт створений не як незалежне ЗМІ, а як майданчик для просування конкретного пулу брендів (ZULU, Magistr.ua, Інформ-Сервіс). Ці компанії завжди займають топ-3 рейтингу з аномально високими оцінками (4.8–5.0).
Маніпуляція відгуками:
Для «своїх»: масово публікуються позитивні відгуки, часто написані за шаблоном. Негатив на адресу ZULU або «Магістра» на цьому сайті практично не проходить модерацію.
Для конкурентів: На цьому ж майданчику навмисно збираються або навіть фабрикуються негативні відгуки про інші агентства, щоб перенаправити клієнта до «лідерів списку».
Мімікрія під відомим брендом: Назва Laba Rating експлуатує авторитет міжнародної освітньої платформи Laba, до якої цей рейтинг не має ніякого відношення. Це робиться для того, щоб у випадкового користувача виникло помилкове відчуття експертизи та довіри.
Мережа супутників: Цей ресурс входить до цілої мережі схожих сайтів (Ref-Rating, PEX, Rephrasing), які посилаються один на одного, створюючи в пошуку Google ілюзію того, що «багато незалежних джерел» рекомендують компанію ZULU.

MyWOT is flooded with spam and fake reviews that destroy the credibility of legitimate websites. Even worse, trying to get anything corrected is a complete waste of time. You can contact them repeatedly, and nothing happens — the inaccurate or malicious reviews stay up. The platform seems poorly moderated and unreliable. At this point, I can’t trust anything I see on MyWOT!

This company "trusts" websites that are located in USA or run by USA and "suspicious" websites that are not located in the USA or not run by the USA
The "user reviews" are also fake made up in order to justify the "untrustworthy" ratings

I have tried to get rid of WOT since…2024
I have tried to get rid of WOT since last year. I reported the charge to my card as illegal and had the charge removed. Now I see you have charged my card again on 5/21/25 for $21.64 I have uninstalled the app, deleted the app and it still shows up. I want my money back and get rid of this horrible app once and for all!

Ungerechtfertigte negative Bewertungen, die jeder Grundlage entbehren, hat auch meine Website erhalten. Meine Website wurde von einem User als schädlich beschrieben, obwohl sie keinerlei schädliche Inhalte hat, sondern lediglich eine Beschreibung der angebotenenen Dienstleistungen enthält.

Mywot is a decent website
Mywot is a decent website, where everybody can share some reviews about the company. Just like in trustpilot :D
But i feel like mywot more for big companies such as google, yahoo and others, whereas the trust pilot is more for companies that surround us like uber, zara etc.
Both are legit places to place the reviews, they do not delete or redact them, everything is transparent.

This company is an expert scam artist. They are expert at extracting monies out of you that are outside their original terms and conditions providing spurious reasons for their "additional costs". Be careful, have nothing to do with them as your project funding requests will never be realised, you having met all their up-front payment requirements and more!

WOT kann einen zur Verzweiflung bringen
Ich musste die traurige Erfahrung machen, dass meine Site als verdächtig eingestuft wurde mit 5% Sicherheitslevel. Es handelt sich um eine normale WordPress-Installation ohne Phishing, Spam oder irgendwelchen illegalen Sachen. Ich sollte die Seite erst bei WOT "claimen", das brachte keine Änderung. Ich habe sie dann positiv bewertet, ebenfalls ohne Wirkung. Beschwerden beim Support brachten leider keine Information, worauf diese schlechte Einstufung beruht, so dass man auch nichts daran ändern kann. Es wird nur auf Algorithmen verwiesen und auf fehlende Bewertungen. Aber es gibt viele Sites, die noch ohne Bewertung sind und trotzdem ein grünes Häkchen haben. Diese ganze WOT-Sache ist völlig intransparent und erscheint mir manipulativ und willkürlich, man ist dem hilflos ausgeliefert. Es müsste eine Verpflichtung geben, bei einer schlechten Bewertung die genauen technischen Gründe offenzulegen, so dass man reagieren kann.

Scam alert! Had WOT as a Chrome extension for years with no issues, although didn't use it much either. Suddenly a pink banner appeared in the top of my email inbox saying something like "Warning! Your computer is unprotected!" (it's not, I have anti-virus & VPN). I clicked on it because it was integrated into my email inbox, and an ad for a WOT premium subscription popped up with a form to pay with credit card. Needless to say, I immediately uninstalled WOT from my browser. I don't know if WOT has been hacked or if this is their new business practices, but I'm out for sure
