I have been using this site for quite a while and never been disappointed. I set up price alerts on certain items and they email me when the price drops. Sometimes it isn't the lowest that item has ever been priced but you can see that from the information they send through to you. The choice is then yours, buy or not to buy. I find it brilliant.

Not Comprehensive, doesnt leverage the user input greatly, reviewing to simplistic. not enough factors to find best value point.
for example > toilet roll:
no selection by sheet count per roll, per ply, quality of product rating no selection rolls per pack ? plain useless for drilling down to best value toilet roll for instance, though mundane is indicative of how the site is more and advertising limited brand shill than anything else ?
so pretty completely useless evaluating where the best buy is, for allot of products, doesnt include all main supermarkets etc.

Worth checking what supermarket specials there are when scheduling a visit. Sometimes you pick up a real bargain. That said I don't use it all the time. Looking at the other feedback it seems it can be sometimes out of date but that goes with the territory of price checking sites and if you 100% have to confirm double check on the supermarket site before heading off to the store.

April 6th and my first experience on mysupermarket.co.uk and i am thinking is it April Fools day. Heinz Cream of Tomato Cup Soup with a Hint of Basil seemingly a 91% saving because at ASDA they cost £10.97. Ragu Smooth Pasta Bolognese Sauce with Basil (650g) so 83% off cause at ASDA its £6.00 a jar seriously. Whether the faults with ASDA data its on mysupermarkets website, you would think someone would look and say 91% saving oh thats fantastic, look at it and say oops better double check that or take it off. When would 4 sachets of soup ever be £10.97 or a jar of sauce £6.00, therefor to proclaim its 91 and 63 percent savings on data thats wrong is clearly wrong to continue and lazy to not check.

A few times I have used both the website and the app. Firstly you can sign in with g+ using the app but not on the website. I like to split my order between stores and you can only do this on the website. So if you make a list using the app and login using G+ then you have to start again when using the website as you cant login using G+. Many many items are not the price or do not have the offers when you get to the store, this is my main complaint, such a waste of time especially if you are going to that particular store because of offers you have seen on mysupermarket. Will never use again. And before you say, I do the list and go to the store on the SAME day.

I was looking for Robinsons Lemon & mango squash and according to Mysupermarket , no-one had it. Went on to Tesco's site and found it straight away. Since then I've found it elsewhere. So they are definitely not up to date with shop stocks

Great app - managed to save £'s on my weekly shop but shame about the customer service. I have emailed them almost everyday now for the past week because I can't add my ASDA account and so far they have failed to reply.

Sometimes the website is a bit slow and seems their servers are quite busy.
But in general if you want to shop online it offers you an easy and useful interface where you can check all the total prices comparing with all the retailers out there, which is quite handy.

I havent checked the validity of the prices - i dont think that they are wrong though, but it is a 'must' if you want to save some money and dont get an extra huge bill!

I am hoping they will upgrade their site in the future (and buy some new servers :) )

I created an account with Mysupermarket and found a product I wanted at a great price. Mysupermarket told me Asda had it so I tried to buy it and 1) it was out of stock at Asda, 2) I had to create an account with Asda to buy the product which they did not have.

A waste of time experience. I thought this site might be like Amazon's relationship with third parties, but it's not, you create an account here for no discernible reason.

Changed my rv from 2 to 4 because problem was with asda' site saying none of my shopping was available.
My supermarket saved me over £15 and petrol and time.

Continually "claims" savings opportunities by offering non-comparable goods! e.g
a. It substitutes Yorkshire GOLD tea with Yorkshire "ordinary" Tea -well of course it is going to be cheaper!
b. It claims that a 2 litre bottle of milk at supermarket A is cheaper than a 4 pint bottle at supermarket B - well so it ought to be!!
c. It substitutes Tuc crackers for Water biscuits etc etc.
With all these caveats the "cheapest buy" recommendation is hardly worth anything
The "web dialog" design is very poor also

Ive found the site useful for checking the cost of medium cost items such as beer, wine or spirits to compare promotions in different supermarkets.

I posted this:

"How can this be sold at £ 4.69 at other supermarkets and yet here at £ 2.00?

There is an abuse somewhere:

1. Is ASDA selling under purchase price? If so illegal!
2. Are the other supermarkets overpricing? Then not good commerce!
3. Is it a mistake from ASDA in their price labelling? Then incompetence!"

This is an excellent website. It really works and saves you lots of money on your shopping bills. It has lots of the big names including Tesco and Boots. Very easy to use.

If and when I get time to use this website I am always happy with the results (normally for my mammoth Christmas shop). You enter what you want to buy and it tells you the cheapest place to get the stuff and then enable you to flip your basket directly across so you can pay and arrange delivery - you can even split the baskets across different supermarkets if it makes sense (including delivery).

I can't fault what they do I just wish I was more organised and used it more often!

The fact that this site links to your postcode makes it amazing. I found out that shopping at my local instore supermarket was cheaper than the super store. This site is easy to set up and updates on a daily basis so has every thing at your finger tips. Comaprisons are set out and easy to view. Love the shopping list facility that allows you to store you regular shop and get auto updates. Site also has a coupon area you can print out more savings coupons.
All in all a easy to navigate and use site, with many savings ideas.

I do my weekly shopping on mySupermarket and they always surprise me with some swaps for cheaper items that I didn't noticed before. They now added "Savvy Buys" which show me even before I start my shopping which of my favourite items are on a great offer in all the 5 big supermarkets. So I choose where to shop from this week by these offers, and whichever supermarket I choose - i always end up shopping from the same site, with my favourites and lists. A great service!

You can really tell the folks at mysupermarket are all about the consumer's great shopping experience, showing us very clearly how our online and offline shopping money should be best utilized.
