Awesome

Very reliable, customisable and completely at your control. Like having your own email server but even easier. Would recommend for any small teams/companies their first 2 starter plans which are far moer manageable than anything else on the market.

Simple interface and quick response

Simple interface and quick response. However, there is a need to include a search for users. it is difficult to scroll through to find and act on a user account. Apart from which, Mango webmail is awesome.

Good service overall, with minor delivery delays occasionally

I’ve been using Mango Mail for a while and overall I’m satisfied with the service. Everything works reliably and I haven’t experienced any major problems. For my current (low to moderate) email volume, the platform has been stable and easy to use.

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that emails can occasionally be delayed for a few hours. In my case, this happened on the same domain — sometimes messages arrived instantly, and sometimes there were long delays — so the delivery speed wasn’t always consistent. It’s not a frequent issue, but it’s worth mentioning for those who rely on time-critical emails.

All in all, Mango Mail is a solid company with a good service, and I would recommend it, with a small note that there is room for improvement in delivery consistency.

Easy setup, modern UI, support from humans

I created a trial account on MangoMail.

Adding my custom domains was the simplest I have seen. The setup process provided me the list of DNS settings required, with tips explaining each setting, clickable buttons to copy each setting value, and the buttons change to ticks after being clicked so you can see which values you have already copied.

The whole process of signing up, adding custom domain and configuring email client took less than 10 minutes. I was immediately able to send and receive test emails to verify the new account was working.

After spending some time exploring the service, I realised they didn't have a feature I wanted, so I decided end my trial and look for an alternate service.

When I cancelled the trial, I was asked to provide feedback which I did. 3 minutes later I received an email thanking me for my feedback and advising that they are working on that feature and plan on releasing it in the near future. After some emails back and forth, I was so impressed with their support that I reactivated my account, and now have a paid subscription!

Horrible company and NO SUPPORT!!

Horrible company and NO SUPPORT!!! They advertise human support like it will be available. WRONG! It is one guy that is renting servers. If you have a problem your on your own for at least 2 days then they sends a link for the same crap on their website. This guy does not care if you lose business or not!! FYI I am very technically savvy and followed the instructions perfectly on two email clients and still is not working !

It's cheap but forget about…

It's cheap but forget about deliverability.

Either they are not doing enough to protect against spam or using a shared IP. Also, support is slow.

It's cheap, but some competitors are free and offer better deliverability. I wouldn't recommend for legitimate business email.

Hello Dale, I'm sorry you had a poor experience. Deliverability depends on a number of factors including domain reputation and email content. New domains or those with poor sending reputation will often times experience low deliverability. However, the best way to combat this is to simply send consistent amounts of real, legitimate mail. It's also important to ensure correct DNS configuration as incorrect records can often be red flags for recipient servers.

Good, but watch out for the SPF and DKIM settings

I moved my emails from spacemail to mangomail two weeks ago. As with spacemail, the interface is simple for non-specialists. But the pricing is attractive: it is per GB, not per email or per domain.

The one problem I found was that my very picky work email server would not accept emails from my mangomail addresses. I had to add the SPF and DKIM settings before they would pass, and the mangomail set-up process did not do that automatically. If I had been new to custom email domains, I would not have known what to do.

My mangomail addresses were easy to set up on Thunderbird and Gmail.

Yes, you'll certainly want to make sure to have SPF and DKIM setup properly. That's why the Mango Mail DNS setup does not allow you to continue until both of these are configured properly. Did you happen to set these records up then accidentally change them later?

Amazing support

I had an issue with my email and contacted support. I got an email back on a Friday night instantly. Everything was fixed immediately. Can't recommend them more! Their pricing is insane and that's why I chose them from the beginning.

I just purchased Mango Mail email…

I just purchased Mango Mail email hosting yesterday. I had a few problems setting up my first domain email and I contacted support and the support was extremely responsive and worked on helping me until I got everything sorted. I even learned some things in the process. I am only on the most basic teir and I was treated like I was paying for their most expensive level. I am really happy I found this company.

timely, informed, non-generic support still exists

The experience I had with customer service is truly something I thought was a relic of the past. I had an issue, sent a message, and within a minutes someone who clearly understood what they were talking about suggest a number of technically-informed suggestions. Further follow-up was equally swift and well-informed. Oh and switching from Godaddy (whose customer support SUCKS) to Mango Mail literally reduced my annual fee by 90%. Huge fan, happy to recommend, clearly a company that actually cares (it's still real folks).

Fabulous product, and the best customer support imaginable!

Three minutes.

That's how long it took to receive a personalized emailed reply to my customer support inquiry when I had questions, even after reviewing the super detailed guide provided (the issues were all my own - as an artist and not a computer person this whole process was quite foreign to me). Several emails and screenshots were exchanged, and within a very short time I was up and running.

I used two other detailed guides to quickly and easily get my business emails showing on my computer and then on my phone, and everything is now functioning perfectly.
