Mr & Mrs Smith (a nod to the classic check-in nom de plume for illicit stays of old) began life in 2003 with two adventurous hotel lovers (our real-life Mr and Mrs: James and Tamara Lohan) and has evolved into a global travel club with more than a million like-minded members.
Our carefully curated (and responsibly sourced) collection now includes hotels in the sky (if you’ve never woken up in a treehouse, we can change that), hotels in caves, hotels above water, hotels underwater (well, partially), hotels a million miles away, hotels on your doorstep…
It’s no accident that the collection is so special. Entry is by invitation only and every hotel is visited by our team and anonymously reviewed by a diverse bunch of trusted tastemakers.

I cant find the confirmation email which is a chlenge desoite searching under mr and mrs smith, it would.be helpful if that was more easily searchable.
Mallory was extremely courteous and pleasant in helping me resolve an issue I could not complete on the website.
I'm not actually sure what this website is for - yes you can book hotels, buy vouchers, etc. but the rates are the same as booking directly with the hotel and booking via M&MS gives noting more. In fact the hotel is worse off because of the third party booking meaning no special treatment...... go direct

I booked through MMS and full disclosure and my error, booked for the 24/4 instead of 24/5 for 3 nights. I only realised when the hotel called to check my and my wife’s flight details 3 days before the 24/4. As soon as I realised I called MMS telling them about my error and would they please amend the booking for the 24/5. A bit of back and forth but the initial answer was “no as you are already in the cancellation period” and so must pay 90% of the rate booked. I again told them I wanted to rebook and fully understood that the rate might be different as well as the room type. I asked them (twice) to call the hotel as I knew there was an availability for the 24/5 (but in a suite) and that I was fine to pay the additional amount. MMS responded that they had called the hotel, told them the situation and the answer was still “no…it’s 90%”. I then called the hotel myself, explained and was told to please send them an email and they would of course look at it and let me know if they could help…throughout, the hotel (Avali Corfu) was very sympathetic and courteous. Within 3 hours I had an email back saying they fully understood and given that I was rebooking, they would fully waive the cancellation penalty and gave me 2 room options. Much emailing back and forth with MMS and they finally processed the rebate for the original booking and I booked direct with the Avali Corfu for the revised dates. 5 stars to the Avali/1 star to MMS. So be aware that if you have a problem with a hotel booking (or I assume any of MMS’s other services) you are really booking with a slickly marketed booking engine who do not have your interests at heart and will not advocate for you. I have another booking with MMS in June for a UK hotel…it will be my last.

Anytime I’ve had to contact Mr &Mrs Smith, I have never been disappointed. Their willingness to help in any way they can is true five star customer care. This time I had a requirement that wasn’t on available on the app & they (Maxine) did everything to accommodate.
Friendly and efficient staff and the process was streamlined.
They were super diligent, working for several days to help with a reservation problem. It was much appreciated and above and beyond what is typical of most reservation services.
Easy to book - reassuring to know if there is a problem it will be resolved quickly
Easy and Mr and Mrs Smith has already done the work of finding the best locations, amenities and value!

Perfect selection and number of Hotels to choose from, easy booking.
Extraordinarily helpful and charming team (I spoke to Charlie), reliably lovely hotels for reasonable/good prices (I’ve been traveling with them for years and never had an issue), more often than not a surprise treat on arrival at the hotel and a straightforward booking service… with some excellent offers!
