Moasure has completely changed how I approach estimating. I work in construction as a project manager and I use it practically every time I head out to do an estimate. From roadways and driveways to sidewalks, foundations, and everything in between, it gives me accurate measurements I can trust and build a real number around.

We also do concrete lifting and positive drainage work, and being able to pull accurate elevations right on site has been huge. It takes the guessing out of it — I know exactly what I’m dealing with before I ever put pen to paper.

I’ve been very satisfied with the device across the board. Whether you’re in construction or landscaping, if part of your job is measuring irregular shapes or getting accurate elevations on site, I would recommend Moasure without hesitation.

This little tool (when you use it right), does a great job. I only use it to measure square feet for asphalt sealcoating. Two features give it five stars. #1. It does not need a cellular or internet connection. #2. You can trace curves. Which makes it great for getting accurate measurements in any shape.

This is an incredible device. The % of accuracy helps and so do the tips to improve. We purchased this device because we purchased a piece of land and are building a home on it. We need a site plan and need measurements for placement. We are still learning how to use it and are improving. Our issue is when we are done measuring how do we render it and make our site plan. We purchased Sketchup Pro and it is very difficult for us to learn. We are still learning how to take different layers and piece them together. Any suggestions on rendering software?

I had an excellent experience with the team at Moasure and found that they honor everything they say in their marketing campaigns. Even though I had to return the product within the two month trial period (for reasons unrelated to the functionality and usefulness of the product, which I found to be immensely helpful for landscaping and general construction purposes, and I wholeheartedly recommend it), upon requesting to initiate the return process, which they helped facilitate without any problems, they reached out to make sure that I had received the support I needed to get the most out of their product and even offered personal training session with one of their associates to make sure I had a positive experience and was unable to unlock the full potential of the device for my particular needs. I highly recommend the Moasure and its team members.

It doesn't light up at all, not even when charging or turning over. I've tried everything; your device just doesn't work.I'M STILL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF THUGS AND THIEVES WHO DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY.

Architectural/ Construction, rough site condition layouts & measuring tasks are extremely difficult with this device. Media only slightly boasts of rough site condition capabilities through visuals, but I'm thinking with interchangeable tips for the bottom of the unit this may become more achievable. It is nigh impossible to avoid rough grass and rocky conditions at the onset of a project, which is when this tool is most beneficial to me. Once surveyors and contractors get involved, I would rarely would have need of the tool.
Aside from the above, this thing is amazing! I love it. In fact, I only bought it out growing impatient for the release of the LX1 model. I figured I could make the Pro 2 work somehow for measuring existing floor plans to remodel, and it works brilliantly. You have to adapt and overcome a little bit using an exterior too on the interior, but overall, brilliant piece of equipment! Smarter than I am in a lot of ways, as I am still getting the hang of it.

Moasure is a fantastic tool. It cuts down my measuring time drastically, and I like being able to provide my production team with clear site maps.

Definitely recommend this product to anyone in the landscape construction industry, it is an absolute must have. We install projects with a lot of pools and hardscaping in them and Moasure makes measuring all the difficult spots so easy! Determining heights of retaining walls takes seconds and you can show the customer the elevation change on the spot. I convinced the owner of the company to purchase one for me and now he plans to purchase several more for the other estimators.

I am a General Contractor and an Engineer. I often need Quick measurements and elevations. In the past it was lasers, Transit beams and lots of math.
I am Still getting the hang of it, but so far it has been all positive. I can quickly measure complex shapes and it provides me with all the info I need for what I would call easy surveying. I sound a bit like a commercial I know. I have incorporated a drone into the mix so I can get overlays on high res photos that provide me lots of good information and an apples to apples view of what people estimate for me.
I am learning to use the drawings in CAD programs and I like the versatility and how many platforms it works with. Hard to beat it for the money. As I get better my accuracy goes up. Just takes a few you tube videos and some tutorials. I don’t think this is Ideal for room layouts but I am interested in the next product the folks at Moasure are launching. maybe they will give me a deal as a developer wink wink.
Overall I think this would me Amazing for landscape, for excavating, for pool planners. all sorts of uses I’m not even thinking of
I promise I would never endorse anything I don’t like. This is a great and useful tool packed into a very small puck.

Get one! I think you will be glad you did. The drone for overhead shots makes this a beast!

This product is awful. It works in general, I guess. However, I bought this as what I had thought would be a device that will save time and be convenient. Instead, it's a constant irritant, slow, poorly designed mess that is more of an inconvenience to use than if I had just used a hand ruler to measure a field. The mount for the phone on the stick is horrible to use. The actual connection from the phone to the moasure device is a pain, where for some reason you have to shake the heck out of it to turn it on, then speed connect it to the phone before it times out in seconds, then once you are measuring, if you want to move on to the next object even if it's just 10 feet away, you are obligated to take the device out the stick, reshake it, reconnect it to phone, and it's a non stop tasking of nonsense. Why not have a button to turn it on and off? Too easy? Too convenient?

While I was measuring a complex driveway for concrete, the landscaper on site gave me a demonstration of his Moasure. I already had good dimensions and elevations, his results matched mine well enough that I needed one of those things.

I have had the Moasure Pro2 long enough to give it a thorough evaluation. The app is intuitive and the device is as accurate as I need, or expected.

Using the device along with a laser level and a tape measure is my method. Get the important measurements with the laser and tape. Then collect data on the Moasure.

I then Bluetooth a .DWG file to my notebook, open the file in Turbocad, and have a great layout that I can adjust, if needed, to match my paper notebook. Great scale drawing in a small fraction of the time I would have spent.

Don't expect a robotic total station. Entry level is about $24k. The Moasure2 certainly is a handy gadget. There is a bit of a learning curve. Understand what the device is, how it works, and one will be well served.

As a Chartered Surveyor, I routinely use high-precision equipment such as total stations for detailed setting-out, boundary definition, and construction layout where millimetre accuracy is critical. Those instruments unquestionably outperform any phone-based system in absolute precision, but they come with significant cost, setup time, transport burden, and theft risk.

The Moasure 2 Pro is not trying to replace a total station—and that is precisely why it excels.

For quick site checks, preliminary boundary plotting, area verification, and general data capture, Moasure is an exceptionally practical and time-saving tool. The motion-based measurement system delivers accuracy that is more than adequate for early-stage assessments, feasibility work, site comparisons, and verification measurements, without the need for tripods, prisms, control points, or extended setup time.

In real-world surveying practice, there are many situations where you simply need reliable measurements quickly, safely, and discreetly. Moasure allows me to capture site geometry, areas, and perimeters efficiently, often in locations where deploying a full total station would be disproportionate, cumbersome, or commercially unjustifiable.

The portability is a major advantage. There is no expensive equipment left unattended, no vehicle-based transport risk, and no concern about drawing unnecessary attention on sensitive or constrained sites. From a cost-benefit perspective, it represents excellent value and pays for itself very quickly.

Used appropriately—and with an understanding of its limitations—Moasure 2 Pro is a genuinely useful professional tool. It has become a regular part of my surveying kit for preliminary and general measurement tasks, and I would recommend it to other professionals who need fast, flexible site data without the overheads of traditional survey instrumentation.

Great product, great company! I have always had wonderful interactions with Moasure. They're quick (if only companies local to me were this responsive!!) They're friendly, and helpful. Moasure have a customer for life in me.

I've never been able to measure outdoor projects with slope fir water drainage until now. Moasure made it easy for me to learn how properly calculate cut and fill to complete my project. Also, they have great customer service! They treat every customer like they're the most important. Great product and a great company!
