Minkos Mac were absolutely brilliant
Minkos Mac were absolutely brilliant. I bought a high spec Mac from them in 2017 after my Mac was stolen. They built the machine to an even better spec giving great programs. When my nephew spilled tea on it( totally my fault) I thought my Mac was a goner ! Darren and lads had it fixed in 24 hours . Excellent service. Lovely people - thank you so much lads ! I had an informative and highly reassuring service. The staff in-store laboured strenuously to find me specific deals and parts for my damaged macbook. Their communication was clear-cut and I had no feelings at any point I was being rushed to make decisions. For Apple specific products, I can think of no better place for queries and buying.

I took my Mac into the Camden branch…
I took my Mac into the Camden branch paid £60 to get rid of the Marquis search virus...the bloke did a factory restart and downloaded google chrome, which re infected my computer as soon as I logged into my computer at home. But they won't refund me despite being unable to fix.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We deeply regret to hear about your dissatisfaction with the service received at our Camden branch. At Minko's Macs, we prioritize our customers' needs and aim to deliver the highest quality of service.
Regarding your concern, you visited our branch with a Mac that had been infected with the Marquis search virus. Our team performed a factory reset and eliminated the virus from your device, which was verified as virus-free at the time you left our store. The fee you paid was for this service.
After two days, you contacted us stating that the virus had re-infected your computer. Upon further investigation, we found that the issue arose after you downloaded Google Chrome from an unverified source – the same method that had caused the initial infection. It's important to note that this issue is unrelated to any Apple operating system faults and is, unfortunately, a result of downloading software from unsecured sources.
We understand that mistakes can happen, which is why we proposed to rectify the issue again, free of charge. Additionally, we offered a £20 voucher as a token of goodwill for the inconvenience caused, despite the situation being a consequence of personal actions.
We feel it's crucial to mention that it's everyone's responsibility to maintain a respectful and professional attitude when engaging with others. This includes our staff, who reported a less than pleasant interaction during your subsequent communication. We are disheartened by the abusive behavior and accusations faced by our team.
At Minko's Macs, we believe in mutual respect and understanding. We take any allegations very seriously, especially those aiming to tarnish our reputation based on a misunderstanding or individual actions. We urge you to consider your role in this incident and to interact respectfully with our team in future communications.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that we can help rectify your issue in a professional manner.

Minkos Macs in Lewisham to the rescue
I visited Minkos Macs in Lewisham yesterday to get my mac fixed to find it closed due to severe fire damage. By chance the owner, Darren was there - thankfully he was not only able to help, despite the fact that his shop had been burnt out and he had numerous other things to deal with - but my laptop was returned to my home in full working order within 24 hours!!! Grateful and impressed doesn't come close - thank you!!

Good experience
I have a Macbook Air which cost 1K and developed several problems before completely dying, some months back, overnight. I had given up on it but I took it to Minko's in Camden and I found them very helpful. They charge a £50 fee to look at problems, which is then deducted from the final price for if you decide to go ahead and accept their repair recommendations. I went for the repair, and the Macbook is now working again. I found Darren helpful and I found the communication to be pretty good. I was pleased with the overall experience.
