The annual service and MOT were fine. What was disappointing was I needed a new lens for the rear door light...not done. The passenger safety belt needed attention according to the display... not done. The battery should have been tested ...not done. All had been discussed with team before . The car was not returned on the day, so we were without transport but not notified. Could do better.

Total clarity over costs and what was covered by warranty. Generosity over the loan car and a quick fix to my aircon. which worked!

We have been Mercedes Benz customers for over 30 years. Originally in the midlands but now in the south west. We have used Exeter, and have nothing but praise for all aspects of service. Unfortunately, while searching for a used SL 43 AMG, we found what we hoped would be our next purchase, but they said it couldn’t be sent to Exeter, we had to deal with them at Plymouth. So, as we are very familiar with the cars, we bought the SL over the phone and had it delivered. It was to replace my SL 400, which went in part exchange. Once the driver left (with a very cursory hand over,) we noticed the paint work was damaged. We contacted the garage immediately with photos and a collection was arranged to correct the problem - 5 days later. Within 4 days, a fault flashed up on the dashboard, with alarms and messages warning of brake failure etc. We contacted Plymouth immediately and were advised to call Mercedes recovery services. 4 hours later, a transporter arrived and removed the car.
We finally had the car back over a week later. Again, the same problem, this time the engine wouldn’t turn off and more warning messages! 8 hours later, the transporter arrived and removed the car. By then we had lost all confidence in the vehicle, and used our legal right to return it.
The management we spoke to refused to admit to any fault - “Computer says No!” So there was nothing wrong with the car!!!
We lost money, we had no car - as the exchanged vehicle had been sold, and not even a proper apology!
This was a prestigious car of high cost - we were treated as though it was our fault. Never will we use Plymouth again or recommend this shabby outfit.
We returned to Exeter and had exemplary customer service, but have now changed to Porsche for our new car. Shame on Mercedes Plymouth.

I had great customer care and felt listened to and treated with respect. Todd couldn’t have done more to help me with my purchase. The follow up was also very good and Todd made me feel I could ask any question even after the sale had been completed.
I also had contact with Michael from the management team who went the extra mile to offer additional support if we need it (to understand the infotainment system). I would definitely recommend Mercedes Benz Plymouth.

Marcus was very helpful throughout the process. The car was ready, clean, and filled with fuel when we arrived. The whole purchase process was smooth, and the money from our part exchange was in our account the following day. The centre itself is fantastic, with a lovely welcome treat, and all the staff were very respectful and professional. Overall, a very positive experience with Mercedes-Benz South West Exeter.

In general I felt I received a positive experience from Mercedes Plymouth.
The two ladies on the front desk were absolutely adorable and very welcoming.
Tom who delt with me on the day was superb,
but, and yes there's always a but .
Since the initial booking of the service and MOT, I believe I received 5 further phone calls for additional up selling.
It's actually embarrassing.
Not what I expected from Mercedes, are they that short of money?
Everything from some wear on my wiper blades to some light cracks on my tyres ( that are only 3 years old)
To bacteria flushing on my air conditioning.
I actually took the re gas as I felt sorry for them,but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the way my air conditioning was performing.
Then there's the "would I be interested in talking to someone about any upgrades".
Honestly it made me cringe.
Look they definitely make you feel welcome and I'm very happy with my car .
But I'm pretty sure I can decide if my wiper blades need replacement or my tyres do .
I may be in my mid 50s but I'm not completely incapable, not yet anyway.

The staff were very helpful and quick to get us sorted, however we had a few issues with getting our deposit back for the V5 trade in. After multiple times to contact the man he hasn't gotten back to him so we have had to follow it up multiple times.

Sourced a vehicle on Mercedes South West, arranged a visit to Mercedes South West, Exeter, Met Luke, we both had test drives, the vehicle met our expectations and beyond. Excellent service all round. Purchased vehicle with gap insurance, Thank you David & Jackie,

Found a car on autortrader, phoned up and spoke to Gavin, the vehicle I wanted had been sold, while talking found another vehicle and did a deal straight away, I was a cash buyer had the gap insurance and Gavin was very helpful,
Had the car delivered to my house and was kept in touch all the way, the vehicle was delivered as described.

If I could give Luke more than 10/10, I genuinely would! He played a huge part in making my purchase from Mercedes South West such a fantastic experience.
Buying a car remotely could easily have felt quite impersonal, but Luke somehow made the whole journey feel like I was there in person from beginning to end. He took the time to really understand what I was looking for, listened to my needs, and offered knowledgeable advice without making me feel rushed or pressured. There was no pushy selling, just a great balance of experience, patience, and genuine care while I took the time to make the right decision.
Luke kept me updated throughout the process, explained everything clearly, and even created a personalised video, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed the effort he puts into looking after his customers. Alongside his great banter and friendly personality, he made the whole experience feel enjoyable and personal rather than simply a transaction.
A big shout-out also goes to the delivery gent (I’m sorry, his name has completely escaped me-the excitement of the new car arriving may have been a little distracting!). He called to keep me posted on his ETA, and took the time to show me around the car, walking me through all the features (and sharing great tips whilst doing so!) and made sure I was completely comfortable before he left. A real credit to the team.
From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks to Luke and the delivery team for making what could have been a complicated long-distance purchase feel so easy, personal, and enjoyable. If every car-buying experience was like this, I’d probably be changing cars far more often… although I may need to have a word with the bank first! 😊

I had an incredible experiance with this dealership. Gavin kept me up-to-date from start to finish and was easily reachable to answer any questions I had. When I went to collect the car I was genuinely blown away. The car was immaculate. I couldn't stop looking at it! Gavin really went the extra mile to make sure the car was in showroom condition and it shows! Gavin made the process pleasent and easy and not to mention the after sales support. Excellent. 10/10. I am finding that several little extras such as car valeting, little gifts left after a service, free pick up and drop off, demonstrator car trials etc, have been disappearing over the last few years even though the yearly contract costs have increased.
I was assured upon purchase of my vehicle that such little inducements would remain avalable for service contract owners .Being a lotal customer for over 10 years now I find this penny pinching less than I had expected from a brand such as Mercedes.
And even after 3 new batteries in 10 years they still have not sorted out why I am continualy being let down by a non starting engine.
Very disappointed.

Definitely one of the best and easiest experiences of buying a car their customer service and staff was brilliant! From start to finish we were looked after by the Pash (lovely chap) he is very knowledgeable about the cars and helped us through the process of making our selection, and when we came to collecting the car he demonstrated all the features and even paired my phone to the car, will definitely be back, and my daughter is considering buying a Mercedes

Would buy from here again without question. Pash was extremely helpful from start to finish and the service was the best I have experienced from any dealer. Best customer service in the industry.

A friendly welcome from the Taunton MB team as ever. Courtley handled our service from start to end- she was fantastic. Smiling, polite and courteous throughout - making us feel like valued customers. We had a delay in returning the courtesy car and she was superb in sorting it out which took the stress off me. Also a thank you to Tim who took time to show us our (hopefully soon) next new car and had us enthused from the minute we sat in it.
