To me
To me, this company is absolute garbage; they have the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I’ve spent months trying to get a refund for an item I returned to their warehouse, and I still haven't seen the money back. I don't know how this company stays in business while lying to its customers. It's total crap.
Failed after 6 months of light use
Failed after 6 months of light use — not repairable, no support
I purchased the Maytronics Dolphin Skimmi (Serial: K7210TSK9O) on May 17, 2025, used it as intended, and stored it properly during the off-season. In total, it saw about 6 months of actual use across two swim seasons here in Maryland.
Two months into this second season, the left paddle wheel seized completely. I followed the troubleshooting steps in the manual to try to free it — no luck. When I called Maytronics customer support, I was told the unit was 3 months past its warranty period and that the Skimmi is not a repairable product.
So after 6 months of actual use, I'm left with a dead unit and no path to fix it — just a suggestion to buy another one. For a product at this price point, I expected either better durability or a repair option when something like a paddle wheel fails. I can't recommend this until Maytronics offers real support for mechanical failures that show up this early.
If you're considering this product, factor in that "not repairable" appears to mean exactly that — even for a part failure well within a reasonable product lifespan.

MAYTRONICS--POOLARIA M
AS DE DOS MESES SIN REPARAR ROBOT LIMPIAFONDOS (DOLFHIN LIBERTY 300 Nº SERIE M9975NMG5P).
Maytronics Accepted My Order, Charged My Credit Card, Then Canceled It Because of Their Own Inventory Errorhased a refurbished Dolphin…
I rarely write negative reviews, but I believe other customers should know about my experience purchasing directly from Maytronics.
After spending more than two days researching robotic pool cleaners, I decided on the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme. I intentionally purchased a factory refurbished unit directly from the Maytronics website because I trusted buying from the manufacturer over a third-party seller.
The refurbished unit was listed as IN STOCK with an estimated shipping time of 3–7 days. The purchase price was $899. My order was accepted, and my credit card was charged.
The next day, I received an email stating:
"Your cancellation request is accepted."
The problem is that I never requested a cancellation.
When I checked the website, the refurbished unit had changed to out of stock.
I immediately contacted customer service. After waiting on hold for approximately 90 minutes, I explained that I never canceled the order and simply wanted Maytronics to honor the purchase they had already accepted.
I wasn't asking for a refund. I wanted the product I had purchased.
The representative, Patrick R., was unwilling to offer any meaningful solution beyond issuing a refund. I explained that the inventory issue was not my fault and suggested what I believed was a fair resolution, such as honoring the order or providing a reasonable accommodation. Instead, I was told my request was unreasonable and that I was essentially asking for something for free. That was frustrating because I wasn't asking for anything free—I was asking the company to stand behind an order they had already accepted and charged my credit card for.
Another interaction was equally confusing. When I asked Patrick for a last initial or employee ID for my records, I was told that providing either would be a "security issue." Shortly afterward, I received an email from him that included his last initial.
To Maytronics' credit, my case was eventually reviewed by Customer Care Supervisor Lee. Lee personally contacted me, apologized for my experience, and confirmed that the cancellation occurred because Maytronics' website inventory had not synchronized with the warehouse inventory. He also acknowledged that the cancellation was not caused by anything I did.
I appreciate Lee's professionalism and willingness to review the situation. However, the only options ultimately offered were:
Wait an unknown amount of time for another refurbished unit with no estimated availability, or
Accept a full refund.
Inventory mistakes happen. I understand that. What disappointed me wasn't the inventory error—it was what happened afterward.
Maytronics accepted my order, charged my credit card, canceled the order because of an internal inventory error, sent an email incorrectly stating that I had requested the cancellation, and ultimately declined to provide any meaningful accommodation beyond refunding my money.
For a premium manufacturer, I expected significantly better customer service and accountability.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing directly from Maytronics until they improve both their inventory management and the way they handle customers when their own systems make mistakes.
Impossible to return a Dolphin remote purchased directly from the Maytronics site.
I purchased a Maytronics Dolphin remote control to work with my existing Dolphin pool robot. I purchased the remote directly off of Maytronic's site. It came broken, the batteries blew up and corroded the inside. In numerous email exchanges with Maytronics support, which only bothers to reply to me once every two weeks, they keep telling me they won't fix the robot! I keep reminding me we're talking about the remote, but they keep telling me I bought the pool robot from an (authorized) dealer, and I need to take it up with the dealer, yet I purchsed the remote directly from them. They are incredibly slow, and never seem to pay attention to the photos I've sent or the customer support email chain. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I purchased a Skimmi in 2025 and it stopped working 4 months after warranty. Maytronics states it can not be repaired. Unbelievable for that amount of money. I purchased it because I have a cleaning robot thru a dealer and they repair products. Now I feel my dealer may be loosing a customer due to Maytronics unacceptable repair option on an expensive piece of equipment.
A+ Customer Service
I have been completely happy with my Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus pool cleaner, both with its performance and with my experience with customer service. After about a year of great cleaning, my robot stopped working. Maytronics online troubleshooting led to sending in the robot for service. I was a little skeptical (about whether it would be covered under warranty and how long it would take), but there was no reason to worry. Maytronics had my robot back in the pool in less than a week (including shipping times)! The robot was in their shop for less than 24 hours before being shipped back to me overnight. And all under warranty. I did have to pay to have the robot shipped, but well worth it for a robot that is working like it’s brand new again.
Dear Maytronics Customer Service,
Dear Maytronics Customer Service,
I recently purchased a $1,200.00 pool robot directly from Maytronics, and I have been extremely disappointed with the customer service I've received regarding issues that existed the day I opened the box.
The robot arrived with a European power cord instead of the correct North American cord, and two of the tabs on one of the filter cartridges were broken. These are not issues that occurred after delivery—they are factory or shipping issues on a brand-new product.
I initially contacted your online chat support and was told the representative could not help me and that I would need to wait for an email response. Several days later, I received an email requesting photos, which I promptly provided. Five days after that, I was asked for the robot's serial number.
The problem is there is no serial number anywhere on the robot. I thoroughly inspected the unit, took multiple photographs, and even recorded a video showing there is no serial number present. Despite providing that evidence, I was then instructed to drive 30 minutes to an authorized service center so they could scan the motor to locate the serial number.
Quite honestly, this is unreasonable.
Why should I have to spend hours of my personal time correcting mistakes that were made by Maytronics? You shipped the wrong power cord, one of the filters arrived damaged, and the robot was manufactured without an accessible serial number. None of these issues were caused by me.
The solution should be simple:
Send me the correct North American power cord.
Send me a replacement filter cartridge.
If you are unable or unwilling to do that promptly, provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund.
As a customer, I should not be expected to drive to a service center to resolve defects on a brand-new product.
This is my third Maytronics robot in the past 10 years, and until now I have been a loyal customer. However, this experience has been extremely frustrating and has caused me to seriously reconsider purchasing another Maytronics product in the future. A premium product should be backed by premium customer service, and unfortunately that has not been my experience.
I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter.
Sincerely,
William Norton
Prodotto a durata limitata
Dolphin pool dolphin
I bought a dolphin pool, Clener in Greece unfortunately it has broken down the second time we’ve only used the machine seven or eight times absolutely ridiculous service in Greece. I do not recommend buying.
Average to poor pool cleaner . Dolphin Nautilus
Maytronics identify as an electronics company that makes the plastic Nautilus Robot pool cleaner. They should know how to improve this machine.
From reviews I determined it was the best. After months of use its just OK , far from perfect because it never cleans the pool perfectly leaving patches untouched and rarely climbs the wall . Its path is totally haphazard. theres no programming! Strange these days of AI floor mapping. Even the cheapest household floor cleaning robots has SLAM Mapping that works . In a pool there are no objects such as chairs and tables to work around, so it is a simple mapping programme.
Its retail price is very high for what it is . A simple plastic casing with a motor track drive with rotating plastic brushes, a filter and a small pump. A quality cable from a transformer. Probably a gyroscope that can be bought for pennies and thats it . We should expect more for the money: at least a cleaner that works properly.
Today . July 2026. the best a user can expect is a motorised cleaner that may clean 'most' of the pool bottom with 4 or 5 wall climbs during its timed operation, nothing more.
It helps maintain the pool clean, but doesnt completely replace manual cleaning .

1 star is 1 more star than this company…
1 star is 1 more star than this company deserves. I own a Dolphin Skimmie that was purchased June of 2025. It started showing “front wheel blocked” errors and showing my water temperature alternating between 270 degrees and freeze warnings. Living in Michigan, our swim seasons aren’t that long and the Skimmie has been in service for around 6 months. I called customer service to troubleshoot the issues and we were able to get the unit working. He sent me a follow up email the same day telling me to email back should the issue resurface. Approximately 2 hours later, the same issues resurfaced. I replied back to his email telling him the issues are persisting and requested a warranty replacement since, it appears to me, that the issue is electronic on board the unit. I didn’t receive a reply to my email so I followed up with a call 3 business days later. I brought the new representative up to speed and again requested a warranty replacement. She told me that since the warranty expired a month ago there was nothing they could do. I asked for a supervisor as it was obvious she was simply reading from a script and had zero authority to help. The supervisor basically restated the fact the warranty was expired and I was out of luck. After a fairly thorough tongue lashing, he offered a coupon for the amount I paid for the Skimmie. Perfect, problem solved, right? WRONG! The coupon will expire in one month and they currently has no stock of the Skimmie until September at the earliest (Personally, my gut tells me that they are no longer going to offer this unit as it appears nowhere on their website). I asked him how the coupon benefits me if I can’t order a replacement before the coupon expires? His reply was to either buy another Dolphin product or call and try to get the coupon’s expiration date extended close to the August expiration date. I asked why he couldn’t simply extend the date now? His reply was basically “this is our offer and you can accept it or not, but this is all we will do”. I told him to send me the coupon but I am fully confident that they will not extend the expiration date, and I would doubt my sanity if I were to give This company one more penny of my money.
Liberty 300 robot pool cleaner.
I purchased a Liberty 300 robot pool cleaner and tested it for the first time yesterday. I charged it completely before I used it as per the instructions. It took about 6 hours to charge. I am very pleased with this robot. I wanted to know how long I would get on a full charge so left the robot in the pool. When the robot has finished it returns to the part of the pool that I put the cleaner it. Its very clever. The robot waited until I put the rattle supplied in the water. The rattling sound woke the robot up and it started to climb up the pool wall and then I lifted it out. The robot had been in the pool nearly two and a half hours and still had charge left in the batteries to climb up the pool wall. It did an excellent job cleaning my pool. I am well pleased and looking forward to using it again.
Very disappointing warranty experience…
Very disappointing warranty experience involving both Maytronics and SCP UK.
My Maytronics pool robot failed whilst still within its warranty period. The unit powered on but would no longer move. I therefore contacted SCP UK, the authorised UK distributor, and followed the warranty process as requested.
The robot was inspected by SCP UK and the warranty claim was rejected on the basis of alleged improper pool chemistry and environmental conditions. When I challenged the decision and requested clarification, SCP UK sought guidance from Maytronics and referred the matter back to the manufacturer for review.
What followed was months of correspondence, repeated follow ups, and lengthy periods without communication. Despite the time taken for the review, Maytronics ultimately supported SCP UK's position.
What concerns me most is that Maytronics confirmed they did not physically inspect the robot and did not have water test results for my pool. Nevertheless, both SCP UK and Maytronics concluded that pool conditions were responsible for the deterioration observed and that the warranty should be rejected.
Throughout the process, I repeatedly requested a technical diagnosis of the fault, identification of the failed component, and an explanation of how the observed deterioration directly caused the cleaner to stop functioning. Unfortunately, those questions were never properly answered.
Residential swimming pools are dynamic environments and no pool owner can realistically maintain perfect water chemistry every day of the year. If normal fluctuations within a chlorinated pool environment are sufficient to cause this level of deterioration, then in my opinion that raises legitimate questions regarding the durability of the product itself rather than automatically leading to a conclusion of customer misuse.
The most disappointing aspect was not the rejection of the warranty claim itself. It was the lack of transparency, the poor communication, the lengthy delays, and the apparent willingness of both SCP UK and Maytronics to attribute fault to the customer without evidence capable of conclusively proving that conclusion.
Based on my experience, prospective customers should carefully consider not only the product itself, but also the value of the warranty and the level of support they may receive should a problem arise.
They were disguised as poolshop.com
They were disguised as poolshop.com. I ordered a pool heater ignition replacement. I had some issue with shipping, wrote inquiry and they responded saying part was on the way saying sorry for delay if you have any issues let us know. Well part arrived broken! Now that I have issues, I’ve written back to same support email 3 times with zero response!
Their profile here reflects my experience
OMG, I thought their trustpilot page might be bad, but it seems to reflect exactly my experience with their "support". My 1600€ Dolphin pool robot stopped working within the guarantee's time. I raised a case on Feb 22, now more than two months ago.
They kept asking me for receipts and other information, one by one with weeks in between their messages. I am sick of it now, and will hand this case to a lawyer to get my money back from them. Needless to say the device was NOT worth its money ... but the "cutomer service" is even much worse. They deserve negative stars.
