Can I just say the company is great the delivery service isn’t there fault it’s out of there control I’ve had doa but the owner has replaced the livestock that didn’t make it so thank you an it hasn’t put me off I would order from him again I’ve had some beautiful fish an anemones off them

Stop the killing don't use
Everything, dead fish, hidden costs, poor service, bad attittude I've had 2 deliveries one wasn't what I ordered and died shortly after arrival, the other was dead on arrival and told I need to pay another £25 postage to use my credit code ,which I don't have but I can't get a refund either. Very poor, don't use them they kill fish.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and understand how disappointing it is to receive fish in poor condition. All stock is pre-checked prior to dispatch, and this is never the outcome we want for any customer.
Live fish deliveries are handled with care, and any issues on arrival are taken seriously. When a problem is reported within the required timeframe and with the necessary information, we offer replacement credit in line with our terms and conditions. As clearly stated, postage costs are not covered.
We strongly disagree with the suggestion that we “kill fish.” While issues can occasionally occur during transit, we have procedures in place to support customers when this happens.
We are sorry for your loss. Credit was issued in accordance with our terms and conditions. However, we cannot accept abusive or threatening behaviour toward our staff.

Looks too good to be true ? Because it is
Marine fish and inverts ordered 19th Jan 2026 items were shown as in stock and plenty available and placed order, received email 4 days later saying there would be a delay. Livestock arrived after email notification the day before , boxed well but no heat packs water packs smelt like rotten fish and fish amd inverts all seemed dead placed them in the bags and acclimatised ...still dead,took them out to get a clear picture of them still in the bags ....dead . Called the number after emailing them 5 separate photos of the dead livestock ,and was told I was probably another scammed and I was lying about the lack of heat packs even though I was on the phone and offered to video all packaging...They will come back to life if I follow the instructions I font know what I'm talking about he has 27 years experience ....but they are dead ....then put them in the polystyrene box and mix in your water if they are still dead cut off the tails and take another picture he then told me I was not listening and if I don't follow his instructions amongst other derogatory remarks about my person and hung up ....Will I ve foing business with them ever again ? No

Not good first impression
Well, first time ordering and not very impressed. Made an order, £135, heard nothing. Contacted them a week later asking if order had been shipped. Within a couple of hours PayPal emailed stating I had a full refund - out of stock. What if I hadn’t of sent that email! Not a single, personal email to me, and I’m quite a big spender, never mind - their loss.

A very good Aquatics shop , the fish are well packaged and the carriers they use are also good in handling the fish by keeping me up to date when delivery will be . The fish are in fantastic condition can't ask for anything better . Brilliant .

I order 4 different types of snails. They are all healthy and look great. The box was packed well with heat pack. I will order from this shop again.

Fish arrived very well packaged and in a timely fashion. One clown fish didn't travel so well but made a full recovery, good communication from marine world aquatics during the whole process. Will definitely use again

This is my third or fourth order from this company, and the service was always excellent--until it wasn't. I ordered live invertebrates, some in one bag arrived alive, and two that were in a separate bag were dead. I called the number on the box, as instructed, and "Paul" immediately threw up "terms and conditions" about an order that arrived today and I suppose shipped today as well, claiming that because I hadn't opened it within one hour of its arrival, any claim I would have was null and void. That's not what bothered me--the items weren't that expensive--what I cannot abide is the way he spoke to me and the obnoxious, defensive behavior illustrative of a very bad customer-service attitude. I am a science teacher with two master's degrees and 40 years of marine aquarium experience--it's not my first rodeo; however, this guy was so defensive and disingenuous over the phone that I was thoroughly disgusted. He obviously cares nothing about customer service or the fact that something may have gone wrong with shipping or his livestock (the water was cold, despite there being a heat pack in the box that was still warm). I've never been spoken to in such an impatient, defensive manner over a simple matter of dead shrimp. It was so unnecessary. Despite the positive past experiences with this company, I can't see myself ever doing business with "Paul" again. I am very dissatisfied, and I believe he should evaluate how he speaks to his customers, including former customers.

Thank you for your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your recent experience left you dissatisfied. However, we also want to clarify the sequence of events to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Your order was delivered at approximately 1:40 pm, and we did not receive your call until around 6:30 pm about five hours later. When I asked about the time gap and the condition of the items during that period, the conversation you became very tense, and it was difficult to explain our DOA terms and conditions, which all customers agree to at the time of purchase. I also requested photos so that we could properly assess the issue, but it was challenging to continue because I was repeatedly spoken over.
I understand that you are a teacher, and I respect your profession; however, I felt the manner in which I was addressed was disrespectful, and no staff member should be spoken to that way. I acknowledge that I reacted, and I regret if my tone came across as unprofessional, but respectful communication must go both ways. We are here to help never to be mistreated.
I have worked very hard to turn my passion for this hobby into a business, and I always aim to provide the best livestock and prices possible. It was disappointing to see multiple negative reviews posted about the same order, which felt excessive and harmful, especially in my 26 years of experience.
Our DOA policy is in place to protect both the customer and the business. As stated in our terms, we must be notified within timeframe of delivery, and photos must be provided within four hours so that we can investigate and resolve any issues promptly.
But it was very challenging when you shouting at me down phone about you are teacher and you don’t get home till 6.30pm, and refusing to send photo evidence are hands tied.
We appreciate your previous orders and your support, and we truly regret that this situation escalated the way it did.
