It said I had malware on my computer and it locked my screen. Remember yall, Microsoft would NEVER block out your computers. I managed to get it closed but it freaked me out. I checked my computer and nothing was on it. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Google m'a mené vers ce site pour un manuel en français que je cherchais. J'ai pu le télécharger en PDF et le lire normalement sans qu'on me demande ni argent, ni adresse email, pas même une publicité !
Je me suis même étonné d'autant de facilité et générosité. Alors j'ai fait une analyse complète de mon PC: aucun virus ou malware trouvé. Peut-être il y a t-il des liens à ne pas cliquer sur ce site, je ne saurai dire car mon expérience a été sans problème.

PHISHING SCAM!
Stay far away from this website. I was trying to access a manual for my Singer machine, when this website froze my computer and popped up an intrusive message saying that my computer was infected by a virus. It told me I needed to call Windows Defender. They provided a number that is not Windows Defender. Through Task Manager, I was able to shut Chrome down and ran a scan with McAfee.
Be careful- the message looks like a real Windows message, but it is not. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER. It will "likely redirect you to a scam call center where an agent will either try to infect your computer with malware, steal your personal information, or demand you pay money for fake services." I just had a phishing experience on here as well. As we all do not have the same model of machines likely; it seems the phishing links are widespread across the site. Has anyone else reported this to the webmaster for the site? I just did, but I don't expect an answer. Just curious to see if I am the first or if the webmaster knows this is an issue and is simply complicit.

Used this site on and off over the years and unlike other manual sites the downloads are free and always available and correct. Not sure why others warn you about this site but I have never had issues.

This is a useful Site "If" Your VERY CAREFUL!!. Don't be too quick to choose!! There are trick links and I also clicked on a Trojan type link but it was hairless. Makes me wonder "who is monitoring the site for safety" Seems to be unmanned. I clicked some links that don't apply or redirect to an advertiser! But it will say "AD". Somewhere is grayscale.. over all a good resource if you are very careful!!!!!!

I clicked on a link to their site, and I lost control of my keyboard. There was a audible message that told me my computer was infected. I immediately shut down my computer, rebooted, and now I'm running a full scan.

SCAM -- fake virus scam. I don't think it's actually harmful as long as you don't follow the instructions

Went to look for lawnmower manual. After just a few seconds got a popup that said computer was infected, call this number. Did not trigger antivirus program. It's just a scam to try to get you to call the listed number. too bad because this used to be a decent site.

Buyers Beware!! SCAM!!

I was just about to pay £1.49 for a manual for an old Singer sewing machine, which seemed reasonable. Luckily I read their T&Cs, which made me sign up to a £24.70 each month!!

Unless you need manuals regularly for your work, this webpage is a scam. If they were an honest business they would alert you to the £24.70 monthly subscription and not try and fool you with £1.49 for 72 hours!

I found the manual I was searching for free from the manufacturers website a few moments later.

Paid for a manual £1.49 as a one charge. A few days later noticed £24.90 was pending in my account. Called the help line who were unable to help and cancelled my account. I asked them if I would be able to download manuals for the next month as I’d paid for it. They said no and were unable to refund my £24.90. Great customer service.

Manualslib is my first stop for manuals, it's a great website and much appreciated.

In another review, of a BAD manuals company, I accidentally typed ManualSLib as being involved in the scam. They are NOT involved.
Thanks to my son for letting me know of my mistake.

It should have been a different "Manual" domain, that one has now closed. Error: 404.

As far as I can tell right now, the site reviewed here, ManualSlib.com is a reliable, TrustWorthy company.

I have installed their Android App, I will add to this apology / Review when I have tested it.

I can only guess that the scammer (Part of the PCS*Mullion scam network) was also "passing himself off" (a crime in the UK) as yet another Domain name.
