Highly recommend M&S renewables.
No pushy sales but explain the systems and process really well and clearly.
Install was only a few weeks following the decision to go ahead.
Install team, Electrian and roof team were really nice, polite and worked really hard despite us being in the height of the heat wave and the total install would have been less than a day if the scaffolding had been on time.
A few broken roof tiles were noted following the install and scaffolding removal but the install team came back promptly and replaced all affected areas.
No further issues and the inclusion of the associated app and full explanations along with its functions were invaluable.
Would highly recommend.

We had our system installed August 2025. I had an additional battery this year that sadly began to play up. I contacted M&S and after various attempts to reset the battery Mike arranged for a new system to be fitted. We love our new Sigenergy unit. Can't thank Mike enough he is indeed a man of his word!

I have had 2 systems from M+S Renewables. One around 3 years ago and a more recent upgrade. I've been very pleased with the performance and savings.

I contacted Mand S Renewables earlier in the year for a quote for a Sigenergy Battery, Inverter and 10 Solar Panels and because my first phone contact was not very helpful and required a 50% deposit I decided to pay the company a visit.
When I arrived I was quite impressed with the company and the owner offered to carry out the installation with no deposit and so a visit was arranged that took place and everything was agreed apart from a few minor details.
As I was a little concerned about how the fitters would work above the glass roof of my conservatory I requested sight of the Risk Assessment and Method Statement and this is where contact ended and despite several emails, no reply was received until a review was published.
I would have thought that any reputable company would have had a clear safety policy for this type of work and would have been happy to share it with the customer.

Really impressed with the whole installation from start to finish. Everyone involved was super polite and worked incredibly hard throughout - especially impressive given how swelteringly hot it was on the first installation day, so hats off to them for that!
The work was clean and tidy throughout, with the electricians taking care to route the cables exactly where I wanted them even where the routing was a bit awkward, they made it work without any fuss.
The panel installation team clearly knew what they were doing and positioned everything to get the most out of the available roof space, maximising the solar potential rather than just taking the easy option.
At the end I got a clear explanation of how the app works and how to get the best out of the car charger which made the whole system feel much less daunting.
Would highly recommend M+S Renewables as we had such a positive experience.

Unreliable and unprofessional service. I booked an appointment a week in advance and later called to confirm, as I realised it fell on the Friday of the Easter weekend. The owner assured me they would attend, even if he had to come personally.

On the day, no one showed up and there was no communication. After waiting 30 minutes, I called the office. Eventually, the salesperson contacted me, claiming he had double-booked and had tried to call that morning but must have used the wrong number — which I find difficult to believe. He then asked to reschedule.

My time is valuable, and I cannot afford to deal with missed appointments or chase unreliable companies. This was for a significant project involving a full Sigenergy setup (DC EV charger, 12kW inverter, batteries, and solar arrays) and heat pump, so the lack of professionalism is especially disappointing.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend engaging with this company.

Have been with this company 3 years now and had the best service yet this year with Danny. He was so thorough and answered all my questions. A really nice person who takes great pride in his work. I can highly recommend Danny.

Having found M&S this time last year, who incidentally gave me a GREAT deal on my Squirrel Pods, I contacted them again this month to assist me with a major dilemma. Wow, am I glad that I met them! I live in Kent and because of the distance between us, I decided to install the whole kit myself. Surprising myself, I had managed to complete all of the hardware and electrical connections ----- then "programming"!!
I was stuck! However, one swift call to Amy and I was directed to Rik, what a STAR! He offered me time and endless patience to fulfil the task. I can't thank M & S enough other than to recommend everyone with need for anything Solar/Batteries/Inverters to use their excellent services.

Less than 2 weeks ago, we had a quote from M+S Renewables for a solar pv system. This included the latest Fox Energy Cube battery to enable us to store power produced during the day and topped up if necessary during the "cheap" hours.
Yesterday, the entire system was installed, tested and became fully operational. This includes a 25 year warranty and full system monitoring by the team at M+S!
The team were very friendly & knowledgeable, a credit to the company & Director Mike Seagrave, who started the company and operated from his garage 11 years ago & are currently building an impressive, new showroom in Swadlincote.
