Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr guter Service. Pünktliche Zustellung. Navi bereits auf deutsch eingestellt. :-) Fahrzeug erklärt und vorhandene Schrammen dokumentiert. Hat alles super geklappt - sehr professionell. Würde ich wieder reservieren.

An excellent experience. Car Hire and Taxi Service from and too the airport was faultless. The tracking of the hire car whilst in Mauritius was a bonus, as a woman on her own. I had no need of the service, but the fact that it was part of the package was very reassuring.

We recently used Maki to arrange transfers from the Airport to the Hotel and return, where we needed larger vehicle for family of 5. Both times service was excellent! Big, clean 9 seater buses. Drivers were very punctual (even though pick-up was 04:00 in the morning) and relatively friendly. Costs were very reasonable for the service provided. During a previous visit we had a more “exclusive” transfer from another company, which was no better, just more expensive. Would certainly recommend Maki, and we will certainly utilizer their services again when next we visit Mauritius.

Comfortable delivery at our hotel with some instructions (GPS). Car was exactly what we had booked via internet and e-mail (Hyundai i20 automatic), not brand-new (40000 km), but clean and in good condition, no technical problems at all during the 10 rental days. Easy return of the key at the hotel concierge desk the evening before they picked it up. No hidden costs, everything perfect over all!

Quick,easy and much cheaper than the bigger compmiea like Euro car and Hertz in Mauritius. Only rates a 4 bacause on arrival it was hard to find them we asked for a toof rack but only got roof rails, we worked with them but an actial rack would have been better. If they start using the new app fully it will make a difference but they need to send it to customers before they arrive as it was more difficult to download with the airport wifi than if we had done it at home.I will use them again.

The car we received was brand new only 700km's.
The staff who meet you at the airport are punctual and extremely friendly. They are ready to assist in what ever way possible. My experience with Maki Car Rental was hassle free, no nonsense. They have put a lot of effort into their electronic tour guide preloaded onto the GPS provided. It is a must in my opinion as it provides a much richer experience when exploring the island.

Maki cars do their best to please their coustomers! The cars on Mauritius are not the up to the european standard in general, but Maki cars are easy to communicate with, they fix tings if ther is any issues and are to be trusted. Maki cars use sub contractors, but thats the deal to get a better prize.

We recomend to upgrade from the smallest car to medium size if you are a family because of the sometimes narrow roads on the island. Maki car has good deals for upgrade.

Good rental service. I got exactly what was promised.

The only difficult part was finding the rental agent at the airport to pick up the car.

Saw this company on the internet. Their GOOD reviews appealed to me, so I decided to hire a car for 2 weeks for my holiday on Mauritius. What a great decision! The whole system of delivering the car went smoothly, Considering the delivery driver was held up by a serious accident on his way to meet us. The car was an upgrade to my choice which was much appreciated at no extra charge. When returning the car to the airport I was a little early, one phone call to the office and we were met before we had gone through the ticket barrier by the same driver YOGISH. Really great service thoroughly deserve the 5 stars. Would definitely use again.

Excellent service, staff ( especially Gary Ronnie) very friendly, helpful and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again and I would certainly recommend them to my family and friends.

I normally rent form Hertz and have always had good service from them; however in Mauritius their website is not secure and when I tried to book via the UK site there were no suitable cars available. So I googled for alternatives and settled on Maki after studying their site in detail and reading some reviews. They are a broker/agency rather than direct renter and car was provided by Holidays Car Hire & Tours Ltd (legendtours.mu): I am normally wary of brokers but we were not disappointed: car was exactly as selected and was only 6months old. Sat nav was provided, although the Garmin unit stuck to the windscreen was hard to see in the sun and was missing some roads, so I used Sygic on my phone instead as it has full worldwide maps. Two drivers were also included apparently and I provided both our licences but after the delivery driver had gone I found only my name was on the rental form so my wife could not drive (she wouldn't anyway except in an emergency). Rental was significantly cheaper than main firms, and also the car was unlabelled, unlike those with Hertz/Avis/Sixt stuck on the sides which is a potential invitation to lower life in many countries. Roads in Mauritius are generally very good and the driving standard is not bad although there are a few more hazards than in Europe ( the numerous stray dogs actually seem to have quite good road sense!). All in all a very good rental and will definitely use again when we hopefully return.

Wir hatten über Maki Car Rental einen SUV auf Mauritius gebucht. Alles hat super geklappt. Das Auto war im Top Zustand und das Abholen des Mitarbeiters am Ausgang des Terminals ersparte die Wartezeiten am Schalter der Autovermietungen, auch wenn diese auf Mauritius nicht sehr stark frequentiert werden.
Daß das Navi für den Preis mit eingeschlossen war, fanden wir sehr gut, da es die Orientierung erleichterte und man nicht auf Offline Navigationssoftware über das Smartphone zurückgreifen musste.
Die Rückgabe war auch völlig problemlos. Der Mitarbeiter stand schon am Parkplatz bereit und die Übergabe dauerte gerade mal so lange wie wir brauchten das Gepäck aus dem Auto zu nehmen.
Nächstes Jahr werden wir wieder über Maki Cars buchen

Eine seriöse und trotzdem nicht teure Autovermietung.Maki hat uns einen Neuwagen(1500 km) an unser Hotel gebracht und am anderen Ende der Insel wieder abgeholt.Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Booked for airport pick up. The amount is not small. For some reason, it was booked on the wrong date. Did not receive confirmation after and no contact when I was supposedly to have missed the booking. Exercise a bit of care when booking with them. I may just go directly to an operator where there is direct contact.

Was a little unsure about the company,but after reading good reviews booked the car and this was the best as on this holiday we went to three countries and hired cars 4 times other three were with the well known companies with usual long queues and long wait it was so annoying, but with Makki Cars it was so smooth without any hassle would definitely recommend it thank you Makki Cars

Both car and service were good. I will never use big on site guys in Mauritius again.

Booking a car from a local company, as opposed to one of the international giants, is always a risk. We had arranged for our car to be delivered to the hotel and it was there on time and was in good condition and clean inside. All scratches, etc., were checked and verified.

We drove back into the hotel car park about 10 minutes before the drop-off time and someone was there to meet us and take back the car.

All in all, excellent service.
