Hi. I had a Baxi Main Combi boiler 25kw installed 2 years ago. Just b4 my second yearly maint. check it went off, a minor leak demaged some electric components. Their technician came within 3 days fixed the alleged £500 damage at 0 costs! What stand out is the way they listened and coordinated the repair following the instructions (l stated in the e-form) left by my installer who after inspecting outlined the problem. Plus did not grudge over the 2 days overdue yearly check technicality. 1 SERIOUS COMPANY! Thank you.

Over 2 hours and still no one picks ups. Terrible service.

5 year warranty on a boiler, had it fitted at a tenants house, there's a issue with the boiler, they want to see the service logs for the past 2 years, the letting agent has lost them, they won't honour the warranty, pathetic service.

So you want a boiler then look at the Main combi .
They are good easy to service easy to fix after 5 year guarantee .
But fit a Magnaclean and lots inhibitor .
Why I love main you buy one boiler I buy lots put in rentals and I fix boilers service them and dont want a poop in a rental I will pay extra I want hasle free same as the guy buying one boiler . I want to fit and forget , apart from service .
and I may own 20+ and thats 20 trouble free units .
I love them my fitters love them .
But as said buy Magnaclean a clean boiler is a happy boiler a dirty boiler is a poorly boiler and a short life span and will fail early .
I do not work for Baxi i have no association with them apart from registered fitter our main income is rental and would i put in my own house Yes .
I could slag a major market leader who makes power tools and starts with B fit this and regret its Aluminium ,Main is stainless steel heat exchanger this to a service engineer says it all stay clear Aluminium few use it and big names .

I moved into a new home where there was a Main boiler already installed, The boiler was less than 3 years old on moving into new home. The first thing I did was to have it serviced. Then it started leaking, I didn't realise it was leaking because the pressure indicator was faulty, The pressure indicator showed that the pressure was fine. Had leak fixed and new pressure indicator installed. Now boiler is leaking again. Engineers will have come out 4 times in six months.

We got a boiler 2 years ago that should be in warranty of 5 years that has been broken we contacted them to fix it but they said that the warranty only for years and it has been expired already so don't believe that the warranty is for 5 years is only it will be working only for 2 years and then you need to throw it away.

Called MAIN customer service to get some basic information about their heating system (I have vailant boiler with MAIN unvented Indirect Cylinder). First call at 12:14, waited in the queue, no response and call got automatically cut after 47 minutes and 23 seconds.
Called second time at 1:01 pm, waited for 53 minutes and 53 seconds in the queue, once again no answer.

What an unprofessional and rude attitude from MAIN, dont bother answering calls for their customers.
I am sure you can do better than this. I wish head of custoemr service were to read this and reflect upon their brand and poor service they provide. An absolute disgrace for the brand.
