London Camera Exchange Plymouth opened in 1971 and was in the same location for 47 years. We moved to our new location in 2018 and are the only specialist photographic retailer selling new and used equipment in Plymouth. Other than selling photographic, video and optical equipment we also carry out sensor cleaning, image recovery and firmware updates in store. We are also able to send customers equipment away for repair. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are always more than happy to help with customers needs placing good old fashioned customer service before all else.

Great Service, Quality products
Purchased Canon 250d plus a few lens for son’s birthday. Purchase process was simple and easy. When products arrived the presentation and quality/condition was perfect. Totally over packaged
Totally over packaged. I ordered two memory cards that could have fit in a jiffy bag. Instead it came in a package so big I had to wait for a delivery driver, as it would not fit through the letter box.

Thank you for leaving us a review. I apologise for this, I understand the frustration of having to wait for a parcel that could simply be posted. We use DPD as our courier and due to the value of our products, proof of delivery is needed regardless of the parcel size.

I used LCE Plymouth for a recent purchase and both the 2 people at LCE were extrememly helpful, knowledgeable and didn't mind my questions. My purchase for a 2nd hand camera POS was very easy and the transaction was smooth. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Quality Products with Quick Delivery too
Brought a second hand lens over the phone from Andy in the Plymouth shop. Lens was at my door in under 24 hours with free shipping which is super impressive!
Lens is good quality, as listed, and has warranty terms too which is a great piece of mind.

Advice that has saved me money and time.
I have used many places to buy my kit over the years (35 yrs) but I find the quality of kit you get from LCE exceeds what other retailer's offer by a long away, I would say some kit I bought recently was rated as good but from another store would be rated as excellent.
The advice I received is informed and tailored to my personal photography showing the staff have in-depth knowledge of kit and of many disciplines of photography.
I recommend anyone interested in photography from the beginner to season old professional to get advice from LCE and that the quality of equipment is very high makes it a one stop place to shop.

Excellent service
I recently took my faulty Nikon D3200 to Plymouth LCE, which unfortunately turned out to be unrepairable. After then finding a replacement and improved upon D7200 on their website, I contacted the guys in the branch to discuss it. As before, thy were extremely helpful and really looked after me. I would highly recommend Plymouth LCE to anyone who needs assistance with any of their camera needs. Thank you.
