Very happy with my new porch.
The whole experience was a breeze from start to finish,cannot recommend this company enough.

It was a callout to look at two first floor windows which had been unable to close properly since buying the house. My daughters room was one of the rooms and it was concerning me the whistling sound and also it wasn’t safe to open.
They came out super quickly and did a review of both windows. I thought it might be having to replace the windows but he just said all that needed was replacing the hinges. He came back within 24 hours and fixed the hinges within 15 minutes and also fitted a safety mechanism on the windows for me for my daughters safety. I was blown away by how professional and efficient their visit was!

My westerly sea facing window handle seized up due to the salt. I phoned LDG and Steve the fitter came round the next day and fixed it. I always judge a company on service and this was spot on. The product was brilliant and the service outstanding.

Right from the outset with our first meeting with Owen the experience with Lancashire Double Glazing was exceptional. The fitting was flawless and communication throughout was exceptional. The fitters were incredibly tidy through the whole process and we would have no issue in recommending these guys.

Experience was seamless from the start.

Had someone round to show me options and discuss costs, very professional and upfront about the fees. They were very accommodating to my budget and not pushy.

I didn’t have to wait long for installation and then on the day the fitter tuned up promptly, was very polite and put the door in no problems.

The door looks great, it’s been fitted really well and looks excellent quality.

Will definitely use the company again if I need either door works

Lancashire Double Glazing offer an excellent service in replacement windows and doors. We have recently had new French doors and large windows to match our existing oak frames perfectly.
From Owen who initially visited us to explain what was on offer, to a prompt survey and great installation.
The installation team were very courteous, organised and tidy. They stayed till after six to complete installation.
We have now ordered additional French doors and windows

I had my conservatory roof replaced in Januart 2019. It is nowSeptember 2026, & I have had to call you out every year sometimes more than one time my wife didn't want to cause a fuss so we persevered, unfortunately my wife died last year so I am able to compile this comment,
In August another leak appeared, so I rang & was given a date ten days before they could attend, which was cancelled & had to wait another five days, the Manager inspected the roof,again, & said he would get two men to look at it, after two weeks with no contact I rang & was told she would email the manager, that was ten days ago & no contact .
It would seem I will have to get another company to rectify the leak .

Front door fitted, very professional, competitively priced, good quality product

Had a front door fitted recently, had a small issue with a squeaky hinge, came back to us promptly and all was good.

If I could give negative stars I would
Our back door from LDG needed fixing as the locking mechanism was not working
They were contacted on 20 Aug and we were informed that they could come on 27 Aug! 1 week to wait for something still under warranty
27 Aug came we rang them at 9 am to confirm they were still coming and were told yes before lunch
After 2pm we rang them again to be told they were too busy and would not be coming and would come the next day
Today we rang them to check what time they were coming
They have now told us they can't come till 2 nd Sept
We have had to cancel a holiday and lost money due to these incompetent lying idiots so very angry
I assume as it's under warranty and there is no financial gain that's why you are messing us about

We needed to replace our storm doors and contacted LDG. Owen was great, really helpful with design choices and colours so we went ahead and paid a deposit in March. On the 16th June the doors were meant to be installed, they rang the day before and cancelled the appointment! We then had to wait a further seven weeks for the job to be done which made it the 4th Aug followed by just over two weeks 21st Aug for the glass to be installed. Overall we are happy with the result but the time frame was way too long.

I used Lancashire Double Glazing to have a window fitted in a converted garage. They installed this fine but the internal plaster finish was fairly poor. Before this could be resolved the window started to leak from both sides. This took them 3 visits to diagnose and fix which were not prompt. Turns out the DPC fitted over the lintel wasn't turned up at the edges as it should have been and no weep holes had been fitted externally. This was confirmed to me on site by their employee (Who have all been lovely by the way). They had previously tried to blame the builders as our house is a new build. Once done the ingress had stopped however the additional damage caused was to the plaster all around the window including the boards on the upper edge.
The repairs have now been booked in 5 times, the first 3 were cancelled for various reasons, each time I had to call them to find out no one was coming. At this point I registered a complaint which I waited a week with no appointment until the fourth appointment rolled round this time the person sent out was not a plasterer and incapable of doing the job and could only apologise. I called to add to my complaint I was advised no installation managers were available to discuss as one was on leave and one was out on site. After I expressed dissatisfaction with waiting until next week for a callback a manager miraculously became available. His lack of empathy was staggering to me he advised that it had been booked in and that all he could do. I mentioned all the issues including this being my office where I work from home everyday meaning I'd repeatedly cleared it out only for no one to turn up. I asked about compensation for the inconvenience which he replied with "We don't do that"
I've used LDG a few years ago and they were genuinely great but something has clearly changed over the last few years as this experience has been appalling.... Wish me luck with the repairs next week if they turn up or send the right people!

Efficient work in installing a warm roof on our conservatory. A great investment allowing us to use the conservatory all year round.
LDG also installed replacement windows and doors which again were done in a very efficient manner. Very clean and tidy work all round.

I chose Lancashire Double Glazing based on their reputation, but unfortunately my experience has been disappointing from start to finish.

My installation date was changed on the Friday before it was due to take place on Monday, despite me having arranged time off work weeks in advance.

During installation it became apparent that one of the garden doors had been measured incorrectly. This was only discovered after one of the surrounding window trims had already been cut. The window had to be screwed back into place and left like that for around a week while I waited for a replacement. I also had to chase the company myself to find out when the correct door would be installed.

The front door was also fitted incorrectly by the first installation team. It took a complaint and a second installer to rectify the issue.

An additional door handle that I had ordered wasn’t fitted because of a communication error within the office. Given the inconvenience caused by multiple mistakes, I asked whether the cost of the additional handle could be waived. I was told, “we are not offering compensation for our mistakes.” To make matters worse, the office had also failed to communicate the cost of the handle properly. Had I not specifically asked whether it had been added to the invoice, this would never have come to light.

Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. The front door soon required further adjustment. An engineer attended and the issue appeared to be fixed, but only for a short time. The locking mechanism in the handle now feels as though it is catching and could fail at any point. I reported this over a week ago and was told someone would contact me to arrange another engineer visit. Despite this acknowledgement, I am still waiting to hear back.

While some individual staff members tried to help, the overall experience has been characterised by poor measuring, poor communication, installation errors, and the need for me to repeatedly chase updates. I appreciate that mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company responds that matters. In my experience, Lancashire Double Glazing fell well short of the level of service I expected.

In summary, the key issues have been inaccurate measurements, repeated installation faults, poor internal communication, and a lack of timely follow-up or accountability. I expect the company to urgently arrange a visit to properly fix the faulty door mechanism, ensure all outstanding issues are fully resolved to a satisfactory standard, and provide appropriate compensation or goodwill for the inconvenience and disruption caused.
