Quality has tanked in recent years! Got a pair of these a couple years ago and liked them, but now they last 3 months tops before a button or zipper breaks. They’ve definitely sold out or something. Try another brand!

Sizing was way off. Return policy comes with fees.

Great designs, horrible execution.

While we love the product and for years have been purchasing Kuhl clothing, the return policy was misleading! We bought some shorts from Kuhl.com. They were to small. Paid full amount taxes and postage. The return says, $7.50 will be deducted. $79 + taxes and shipping $97.74 for the shirts…credit was $75.86. Seriously…I called and customer service said that’s my credit. Never again…buy them somewhere else!!!!

I received my order containing hiking pants the other day. Thank you. I am pleased with them.
What I was very disappointed and disgusted with is that the parcel arrived with excess packaging. I am surprised that a company of your calibre that promotes the great outdoors does not use corn starch or biodegradable packaging.
There was double use of plastic and the marketing material that was included was excessive. At the end of the day it all ends up as landfill. The cardboard will be recycled but the sticker and the packing list sticker will end up as rubbish and so will the double up soft plastics used. Even the pants tag was excessively plasticated.
I would have thought that as Company and as a promoter of being in the outdoors and wilderness you would be aware that it is important to first and foremost REDUCE our footprint at all costs therefore the included marketing, which was over the top, should be removed. Especially the stickers.
Invest in compostable plastic!

Not what they used to be. Kuhl recently started using thinner material, cheap zippers, cheap buttons, and cheap pocket material. Worse... I returned unopened items, and they never refunded my credit card despite repeated calls. Buyer beware. Kuhl went bad sometime in 2023.

I purchased a pair of pants for my husband for Christmas and they were too small. Returned per guidelines and reordered a larger size. in the mean time my bank card was compromised and the bak had to issue another card with another number. KUHL would not issue a refund to the new card. The bank cut the old card off. They will not issue me a check to refund, Basically they are keeping my money which I think is illegal. Beware!! They are not willing to help, They wont me to have my bank do a charge back of which I tried, The bank could not and thought this was crazy. Bottom line awful company to deal with and these pants arent cheap. Have sent them several emails with the same excuses

My new Kuhl travel pants are marvelous! They’re comfortable and will make my warm-weather traveling so much more enjoyable.

I also really appreciate the customer service. Even though it’s the Memorial Day weekend, they were able to get my order through very quickly.

They have a generous return policy and I would definitely buy from Kuhl again.

Biggest waste of money I've ever spent. Wished I could give them a minus zero . Try truwrek . Most comfortable quality You're going to get for your money!

I am new customer to online shopping and the customer service person want interested in helping in any manner either, just a ENORMOUS 10% discount was all they had to offer and shipping was extra amount totally

Kuhl manufactures some of the best technical pants around. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade and enjoy their durable products. They also have great customer support, all email communications are answered and they really go the extra mile in making things right. Some of their other products can use a little more fine-tuning, like their shirts and jackets. Also, their products are not the cheapest. But if you are looking for quality and or want to support a company that really cares about it’s customers, Kuhl is a reputable brand.

I mailed my coat of $329 back to the company after it keeps getting holes in pockets, the feathers keep coming out, the threads keep coming apart, too. When the box arrived, Kuhl customer service said it was untouched from the United States Postal Service, and also that my coat was no longer in the bag inside my box with the paperwork for the return warranty for them to send me back my new one. I am now without a winter coat. They are saying they did not or someone from the company did not take it. Saying it must of been the USPS. I will never do business with them. And, I am encouraging others to not as well. Bad experience and not willing to help me out. I’m now without out of an expensive coat and they don’t seem to care.

I bought my favorite jacket (about $250) from them a few years ago, it has held up great. I needed a heavier jacket and decided to go with them. Paid $350 for what I expected to be a quality winter jacket. Upon arrival I was immediately unimpressed with the quality of the stitching and material, as well as the fit. 2 months later, I bent down to pick something up (this jacket is slightly too big for me) and the stitching ripped under the armpit. I have contacted support about this and they said it "looks repairable" I would rather have my $350 back. 1 star

Pants button wont stay closed so pants open exchange is internet only do not know how to navigate site have to undo my belt to snap the button or Pants will fall down

Bought two pants. Very comfortable but they shredded for no reason.

Rydar pants are rubbish poorly designed mine have fallen apart as a result of the flex seam above the knee causing the fabric to fray and eventually go to holes My pants are now in the bin.

I struggled to get the correct size. I have been a size 10 for over 50 years and had to return your 10 for a 12, then for a 14, which is a size I've never worn. I persisted because they seemed to be a quality brand.

I took them on a trip to Vietnam and was immediately unhappy with them. They became stretched out and baggy. Very uncomfortable in the warm weather and they looked incredibly frumpy. After washing, they were full of wrinkles and would need to be ironed to look decent. I don’t expect to have to iron a pair of pants for hiking wear. I was counting on a wash and wear situation while trekking in Northern Vietnam.

This is something I could not have discovered until I actually wore them.

I had a similar issue with a pair of shorts from LL Bean and they cheerfully took them back and refunded me! This gives me confidence to buy a product from them and know that if I am not satisfied, my money isn’t wasted!

I will definitely go back to a trusted company like LL Bean next time and will caution others about quality and poor service.

Love the pants, but never send anything in to be worked on. They lost $300 in Law pants that I sent in to have a button fixed. I went from 5 pairs of pants to 2 pairs... The sent the label and said they never received it after it was sent out. I see this commonly on reviews. They did not even attempt to make it right. If you got money to spare, they will work for you. If you are a hard working stuff that's just looking for comfort, they will rip you off. BEWARE

Wish I could give a zero star review for the KUHL CUSTOMER LACK OF SERVICE TEAM..
The product is fabulous however don’t expect the customer service team to answer the phone or respond to emails. They have a solid WE DON’T CARE philosophy so please don’t bother us about your missing package of $1000 worth of clothing items.

Our daughter bought/ordered thru web a pair of Kuhn pants for her dad in December. When they came, the pants were big on his legs so did not fit. We returned them and got charged for the return. We expend time on your web page finding the right pants, as hubby has skinny legs. My husband already owned another pair of Kuhl’s pants and as the pants were a bit loose on waist at size 34 we ordered a size 33. He was so excited when pants arrived but the pants were tight on his waist. I check on an exchange for same pants but one more size (34) and read that there are NOT exchanges so our only choice has to be another return, get a gift card, where they Take off 7.50 x off again. So I don’t think this is right as your sizes don’t seem to be exact. 99% of the pants my husband has are size 33 but yours are too tight at 33. By now we lost 20% of the value of the original pants price that our daughter bought x him. We live in Central Fl, so there is not a KULH store where we can return/try pants. Very unhappy with this situation.

Ordered two pairs of shorts for my wifes birthday, paid expedited shipping. Both pairs ordered was size 14, one pair recieved was more like a tight size 12 and the other was more like a size 10. Couldn't be more inconsistent in sizing. When I was online attempting returns, I am being charged for the returns and unable to discuss reordering options. Couldn't be more disappointed. Kuhl might be losing another customer...forever.
