Working with Afshan at Krestens was great.

I researched a few solicitor firms during the initial stages of my buying process. Krestens was one which was suggested to me. Initially, I had some reservations about working with them as the person I was in contact with seemed helpful but also came across as irritated when I had general queries which slightly threw me off at the start. However, since a different person was going to handle my case, I decided to give Kreston a chance. They had a reasonable price (but this would go up subject to your case, factor in an extra £300-£1k just incase), good reviews, and were easy for me to drive to if I needed to visit their office.

The solicitor assigned to me was Afshan. She was great, informative, consistent, and always responsive, either by phone or email. She kept me updated throughout the entire process. Even when things got challenging due to the nature of my property being a difficult leasehold property, Afshan went above and beyond to find the relevant information and solutions to overcome any obstacles we came across, and there was a lot! Overall, I would give Kreston a 4.5-star rating.
