Taking the time to step back

I came into this without really knowing what to expect - having never really meditated, but being broadly aware of the benefits.

I had two brilliant sessions with Simon, where we explored a couple of different areas; learning to reset after a busy day's work, and calibrate attention to improve focus and remove distractions. Both sessions were incredibly useful and Simon did a great job of balancing a little bit of science, with real world application, in an incredibly accessible way.

It's pretty rare to spend time in such a focused, inward way and it's been fascinating to continue to explore over the past couple of weeks. I went away with some clear summaries, some guided audio recordings and a real understanding of the benefits and have spent some time over the last couple of weeks working out how to fit the exercises into my weekly life. Simon was incredibly helpful in discussing ways to find the time, understanding that it can be easier said than done, and that has definitely enabled me to beging to make this a new habit.

I would thoroughly recommend spending some time with Simon and Klarosity if you want to just take a moment to step back from the business. If like me meditation isn't something you'd considered much before, I think Simon is a brilliant practitioner who can make those first steps really accessible and interesting

Incredibly structured wellbeing initiative

I am a Head of People at a global remote-first organisation and Si at Klarosity hosted a virtual 5-week meditation programme for staff.

It was one of the most thoughtfully structured wellbeing initiatives I've seen or been a part of. What stood out was how practical and performance-oriented it felt. This wasn’t abstract mindfulness, but applied mental training for clarity, focus and leadership.

The progression across the five weeks was particularly powerful. Beginning with physiological reset and cognitive decoupling created a strong foundation, and by the time we reached executive attention, innovation and relational leadership, participants had a shared language and embodied understanding to build on.

In a fast-moving, high-context environment like ours, the sessions created deliberate space to pause, regulate and recalibrate. That translated into sharper thinking, more measured responses, and (perhaps most importantly) more intentional leadership interactions.

The feedback loop built into the programme also made it feel iterative and responsive rather than static, which aligned well with our culture of continuous improvement.

Overall, it struck a rare balance: accessible for beginners, intellectually credible, and immediately applicable to real work contexts. I would absolutely recommend investing in a meditation programme ran by Si and team.

Insightful, practical and personable

From the start, Simon was exceptionally insightful and supportive - not at all intimidating or “out there.”

My biggest fear was that, whilst I recognised the importance of this programme, it would become another thing to squeeze into the day, it quickly became something I actually looked forward to. The impact on my focus was noticeable within a week, and gear changes over long days were made easier. Really helped to lock in focus.

One of the biggest benefits for me was learning how to shift gears more smoothly. Moving between meetings, deep work, decisions, and home life felt far less jarring. I was better able to reset and go again with a little more ease.

I think part of the success of the programme was the nature of the content, but particularly Simon's personable and insightful approach. He balanced educational aspects with practical advice and techniques. Really impressed by this.

I’d happily recommend Simon and Klarosity to anyone looking for a practical way to improve performance while feeling more balanced, focussed and grounded.

Clear, usable and science-backed tools for focus in a high-pressure environment

As Managing Director of a digital marketing agency, my day-to-day is fast-paced, high-pressure and mentally demanding. There’s a constant need to juggle priorities, make decisions quickly, and switch between strategic thinking and operational detail - often with very little breathing space in between.

Over time, that level of cognitive load often led to a feeling of me “spinning too many plates”, even when things are going well.

I was introduced to Klarosity through recommendation and decided to book a course with Simon as I was interested in something practical that could help sharpen focus and create mental clarity. I needed help finding the 'off switch' again.

From the outset, Simon created a calm, professional environment and clearly understood the demands of leadership roles. What stood out was how purposeful and evidence-based the approach was - this wasn’t just like the meditation we've all heard of in apps, but a structured practice designed to support performance, decision-making and attention control.

We worked through meditations specifically suited to an overstimulated, high-output mind. The immediate benefit was a noticeable sense of clarity and calm, but more importantly, a feeling of mental space - the ability to focus on one thing without the usual background noise. Simon was clear that the real value comes from consistency, not a one-off session, which aligned well with how I approach development in a business context.

Following each session, I received clear guidance and a recorded meditation which I’ve since built into my routine. Even with just 10–15 minutes a day, I’ve found it easier to maintain focus, reduce cognitive overload, and approach complex problems with a calmer, more deliberate mindset.

I’d highly recommend Klarosity to anyone in a leadership or senior role who operates in a high-pressure environment and is looking for a practical way to improve focus, clarity and mental resilience. I fully intend to continue the work and explore further sessions as part of my ongoing leadership development.

I wanted to Know if Meditation could help Me?

As a Head of Department in a busy and successful school and father to two young girls it is fair to say my life is busy. I am a very proactive person who likes to keep healthy through exercise and hobbies but it must be stated the vigor and business of family and school life often leave my head overwhelmed and far too busy! The result of this has often led to anxiety and difficulty to rest and relax in periods of the day when I should be doing so. I was given Klarosity's details through a peer at the school who recommended it and the use of meditation in everyday life. To keep it simple I booked onto a 1 to 1 meditation as I wanted to delve a little deeper into what it could do and how it could help me.
My Instructor was Simon who was a really nice guy and put me at ease through the session. He was really knowledgeable about the subject of meditation and I felt more at comfort knowing the meditations were purposeful and backed up by science and research. We ran through two meditations which he recommended to support an over stimulated mind. It is fair to say after the mediations I felt pretty relaxed but Simon was keen to point out that for successful results it is something you need to practice, something I understood before attending the session.
Post session I was sent further information on the session and a recorded meditation that I have been practicing. It is early days but so far I have been giving myself 15 minutes of daily practice and I have been enjoying the peace I find in it.
My plan now is to see how it goes and potentially book in for another session in order to see how meditation can help me further.
