5 weeks ago I orderd 3 items (2 of which were the same) from KGB, and for the first time, I didnt have to contact the company with a voucher code to order or pay delivery, as the items would be sent directly after paying KGB and delivery was included. I was advised 2-4 weeks delivery.

The first item took 3 weeks 5 days to arrive and was very poor quality, so under the Distance Selling Regulations, I asked to return this for a full refund. As there was no dispatch letter I didnt know where to return it, so needed KGB's help. I got a reply after 5 e mails, offering me 20% OFF my next order with KGB. I responded with a Thank you, but no thanks! I want a full refund, via my original payment method.

5 more e mails, and I get no reply, so I send an e mail with Subject heading: DO YOU EVER READ E MAILS? I got a reply saying your problem has been sorted (by the person who offered 20% off next order). I replied that this was not the case and also in the 3rd of the latter e mails I had also advised that the 2nd and 3rd items I had orderd had not arrived, so under the 'distant selling regulations I wanted to cancel up to 7 days before arrival of the item' . There was no mention of this in this e mail from them.

I wrote back a further 4 times, and today get a reply advising me they have refunded me in STORE CREDIT for the first item which I received, and no mention of the other 2 items not received.

I have used KGB for many years with NO problem, however I know my nephew had problems with them before Christmas, and eventually he got refunded (however I think that may have been store credit)

I think nCrowd who now run KGB are doing a very poor job. It used to be ok, But nCrowd are purchasing many daily deal companies in the US, including KGB deals.

I placed an order through KGB deals a month ago, received a confirmation email promptly and the money was taken out of my account the very next day.

A month later - no despatch email, no items, no response to multiple emails and calls. They don't answer the phone and don't even have a voicemail.

Shocking that KGB would work with them, wish I had come onto TrustPilot before buying.

SOME ONE SORT THIS COMPANY OUT PLEASE.I paid £12.99 for a 32gb micro sd card £9 for the card and £3.99 delivery, both payments have been taken out of my bank nearly two months ago now i have contacted them several times and got $9 back into my account which is not even £6 and they are now saying that's all I'm getting as that's how much i paid, i think this company is a scam and needs to be reported so nobody else gets conned

I was recommended to KGB deals by my hairdressers assistant. Having had very good experiences with Groupon & Wowcher, I thought I would receive a similar service from this company. Not the case at all. My first order arrived promptly and this encouraged me to make further purchases.

Oh what a mistake I ordered two batwing tops in March - No delivery. I also had ordered a shoe rack - different supplier no delivery. My Credit card however had been charged.on both counts Attampts to contact KGB resulted in automated replies telling me that UK sellers did not provide tracking details but the items would be shown when shipped. Well here we are 4 weeks after order were placed and not a glimpse of a delivery on the horizon or an offer of assistance from KGB.

My honest advice is don't touch this company with a barge pole.

I have used this company in the past, when I say past, I mean over a year ago without any problems. However I have recently purchased a boiler service through them from a company called Energy-Serve.
I made an advanced booking as requested through the 0843 number which is charged at 10 pence a minute for the 31st March 2014. I recieved two emails confirming the appointment, but guess what the engineer didn't turn up. I have left three messages, again on the 0843 number and an email. As yet with no response whatsoever.

I emailed ncrowd regarding the matter and there response was they were going to reach out to KGB for me and circle back to me in 3 to 4 days!!! Talk about american fandangle jargon. They have now emailed me after 4 days with this reply......We have already escalated this matter and was advised that the customer must chase this with the Merchant. The merchant has been fully paid and we cannot grant the refund request for the customer.
Our apologies for the inconvenience.
And my reply to them was...........In response to your long awaited answer. I clearly state in my email that I have chased this with the merchant with great integrity. However as far as I am concerned the deal was bought by myself from KGB in good faith. KGB are the ones that advertised the deal and were acting on behalf of the Merchant at the time of purchase and therefore by law should take responsibility.

I find the wording in your email confusing and irresponsible. You cannot buy a deal without paying in full. I do not accept your explanation or pitiful email of apology. I have used kgb in the past and have had a very good service. However I have just seen terrible customer reviews on the internet, had I seen them before the purchase I would never had gone ahead.
Please respond to this email asap.

Whatever you do please do not buy from this company. They used to be the great and I have bought and enjoyed many purchases from the company. However they have deteriorated badly recently. I bought a back pack which broke the first time I used it so naturally wrote to them. Apparently a company called ncrowd now deal with the uk.. I believe they are based in the USA and will not help their UK customers. I have been told to send photos, which I've done, but nothing has happened. They do not even respond to my emails despite the fact they have never been abusive. I am currently writing on the facebook uk site daily and will continue until I get a response. This is not about money it's about service. I would actually not give them any stars.

I ordered a large garden storage box with a voucher from them. I paid £28 to them and then paid £9.99 for postage to better bargains. After nearly 6 weeks I haven't received this. I am having no response from either KGB or better bargains. Could someone suggest how I can deal with this

I bought my deal which was dinner at a restaurant. After contacting the restaurant they told me the code was not valid and I should contact kgb after sending them an email and not hearing back (response time supposedly 48 hours) I called them too, and was told my call was high priority and that I would receive a call back either within hours or the next day. This did not happen as I only had one day until my booking I had no choice but to call the restaurant and ask them if they could give me the deal if I paid them directly. They agreed and I'm still awaiting my refund from kgb the only way to get a response is to post on their facebook website and complain otherwise they don't care.

One of the worst companies you will come across, My issue has still not been sorted. I have not received my goods and I am dealing with PAYPAL now.
I have bought before off them , but I did not realise when it comes to a problem like none delivery, you have got to see there reply's.. I am sure they employe Children to answer your questions...MY ADVICE>>KEEP YOUR HAIR AND DONT TAKE THE RISK OF ORDERING>>>>
I think I have lost my money ,but I will wait and see.

I saw a deal for 2 pairs of fleece lined leggings for £8 and thought they would be nice for the chilly days. Ordered on 15th December and a couple of days later paid the £4.99 p&p to a Fish Called Geoff. On 9th January I sent an email asking when to expect delivery - no reply. I then contacted KGB and after 5 days got the most insipid response imaginable. This went on for a couple of weeks until I reported them to PayPal before the 45 day deadline was reached. PayPal have now sent me an email saying that they have investigated and found in my favour and have refunded my money. Please, please, please - anyone out there having trouble with this dreadful company, report them to PayPal before the 45 days is up as that is most likely the only way you will get a refund.

On one day I made four purchases from KGB deals. As yet. I have received NOTHING despite paying in full and then paying postage to merchants on top of the cost. I have had a run around with trying to email and getting no responses or inappropriate delaying responses. This company needs investigating. Does anyone have any contact numbers for managers since I tried 0800 0118012 and all that this number did was refer me back to email before being cut off.

Shocking practices and I think we should be making a representation about KGB deals.

I accidentally ordered 3 of one item on sunday night. It is Thursday and I have since sent 2 emails trying to cancel 2 of the 3 items. Their website clearly states they will get back to you within 2 business days but do you think I have gotten anything back from them to acknowledge my problem? No! I have purchased things from them before but I will not make that mistake ever again!!

Usually I check sites before using them but I got swept up with Christmas online and ordered some light up coasters through this site using A Fish Called Geoff who I shall review separately on here. What a load of crock! It took approx 4 days for the vouchers to work instead of 24 hours and when they did it took a month with no acknowledgement emails from either company. I finally got an answer from Fish called Geoff to say my item was shipped and would arrive first week of December. They arrived approx 5 days later in two small jiffy bags (I stupidly ordered two sets I thought they looked good) and paid £5.99 each(£11.98 in total) postage for something that a first class stamp would have covered. The coasters were not coaster just small cardboard discs which looked like they had been cut out of a cardboard box which lit up when the button was pressed, the size of a 50p. They were all green not the different colours I was led to believe and one didnt work. KGB have not responded to any emails and there is no number to call and the stupid thing is I also paid for these on my debit card, bad mistake as I have no comeback, if I had paid credit card I could have got them to back my case as the item was misleading and not what was advertised. A lesson learnt for me, do not get caught out, never use this site.

Bought 2 deals:
1) at the beginning of Nov 13 which never arrived & for some reason KGB seem powerless to want to solve. Needless to say the issue is still ongoing & I'm still waiting for my money back
2) The main product description was different to the small print, product took 1 month to arrive & KGB, when they did respond are not interested.

In recent times I bought a voucher through KGB for a Body massage with Beauty by Zan in Holloway Road. I made a formal complaint about the poor administrative and record-keeping skills of this merchant, Beauty By Zan. Accordingly, I requested a full refund. In brief, when I visited the merchant Beauty by Zan on Thursday 19th September 2013 I was told after I undressed that, according to their records my appointment was on Tuesday 17th September. I then had to dress and leave utterly humiliated, despite my protestation that the error was not mine, and it was the merchant who had made an incorrect entry into their diary. I can a scan of my diary that clearly shows my appointment is entered on the 19th September.

Interestingly, and of critical relevance, upon review of my diary, I provide additional evidence that this is not the first time that I have been a victim of this merchant's dreadful administration of their appointments. On 4th October 2012 I purchased a voucher for a combined facial treatment together with back, neck and shoulder massage. This was redeemed on the 8th March 2013 and the appointment made for 2pm on the 26th March. I arrived promptly at 1.55 pm on the 26th March. At the salon I was informed by the merchant that I was double-booked and that they had incorrectly allocated two clients for that single time slot. The merchant abruptly announced that I should leave and make another booking. I was extremely unhappy about this unprofessional way in dealing with their error given that I had travelled some distance for my appointment. Fortunately, the other client, who lived locally made the very kind gesture of allowing me to take the appointment as travelling was not an issue for her. Again, I can provide a further scan of my diary that shows the entry for my appointment on the 26th March.

I wonder how many other clients have been subjected to similar problems because of this merchant's inability to manage its apppoinment timetable?

I would like to add that for many years I have been receiving various beauty treatments and massages at least twice a week from many different salons, and I categorically state that I have never been subjected by any of these to such a bad experience as that at Beauty By Zan. I should also like to add that the issue is not primarily reimbursement of the £12 fee. Indeed, I regularly donate money to charity, cancer research, sponsor a child, and willingly give my time in helping to feed homeless people and give comfort to the aged. Rather, and I want to be emphatically clear on this, it is the total lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by this merchant that must be addressed. After numerous emails exchanged with KGB. KGB just keep telling me that the merchant said my appointment was on 17th September instead of 19th September!!! Then I got PayPal involved and refunded ne the £12. This reflects very badly upon the selection criteria of merchants by KGB and the ways KGB handle disputes!!!!

Honest and trusting people like myself should not have to endure this kind of treatment.

I bought a weekend away voucher for my inlaws for their wedding anniversary at the end of January 2013, and it was valid for a whole year. They booked a weekend away at the end of Feb for this weekend. Turned up today, and the hotel has gone into liquidation!! What a joke KGB deals are. Did they let me know the hotel had gone bust? No they didn't but they were quite happy to take my money off me. Beware anything they are selling on this site will either be faulty, not delivered or the company is struggling, and go bust. I have had nothing but trouble with various purchases and I now refuse to buy anything off them.

KGB Got me a refund and were responsive - so as a company they are good - but they should allow an option to review the products/offers so people can voice their opinion and help other beware of scamming companys - like my experience with JACKIE & CO SHELLAC MANI & PEDI

I had a voucher booked for Shellac Manicure & Pedicure via another voucher website. I called two week sin advance to make my appointment. This was to be the day before my wedding day. The day arrived, and i called at 2pm to confirm my appointment which was for 5:30. The lady on the phone said yes thats all fine.
I arrived at the salon, and a really rude lady came to tell me i didn't have an appointment and that she had a client so she couldn't deal with me. I was gobsmacked and started to explain that someone had confirmed that afternoon and i even showed the call i made on my phone. She was absolutely dismissive and didnt want to hear a word i was saying. I continued to speak and she literally TURNED HER BACK AND WALKED AWAY FROM ME!!!!

Well, that is the worst thing she could have done. I erupted into a fit of anger and created a scene (very unlike me) . She certainly got a full mouthful from me and so did the owner of the salon - Adima, who defended his rude staff and had very little to consolidate for the whole situation.

I am now getting a refund for my voucher - but wow - awful experience and disgusting staff.

I purchased the deal from My Diet Loss. I had a few issues as i was putting the wrong code into the My Diet Loss website. When i called they were very helpfull and i recieved my order the very next day. I have started the plan and the products are the best diet meal replacment packs i have tasted. It is also the best variety i have seen so far. Cant praise the office staff at My Diet Loss highly enough and the delivery was excellent - well recommended!!!!

I ordered my print from digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk it never came, I was told it was coming in 10 days and apologies but the owner had been very unwell, it never came, then they didn't seem to know anything about it, then it was on its way, then it wasn't coming and I would get a refund, then he can't refund my postage as he hasn't got any cheques.

Does anyone know how to legally pursue this company? I am now at the point I do not believe he was unwell and feel it is a disgusting excuse to use one people!

Deal companies should have a responsibility to check the companies are legitimate and able to deliver the goods.

I also hate the KGB system of making a complaint, your cant just email or talk to someone. I will never use them again. When I have had problems with living social deals I have managed to easily contact someone that resolved it quickly.

I bougth the deal from them, never receive it. Customer service is not helpful. Never get refund. Please avoid this website.
