Kenwood KDW45X20 Slimline Dishwasher - Inox I bought this for my new kitchen. It was fairly cheap and doesn’t have a front display but thought it would do the job.
It’s failed miserably, I’ve yet to have a wash cycle that actually cleans everything without leaving residue of grease or food stains. It’s so bad I’ve resorted to washing up!
The lack of a front display is annoying, you have no idea it’s even on let alone where it is in the cycle.
It failed to clean despite using quality washing tablets and rinse aid.
I miss you my Bosch!

I bought a Kenwood K30GSS13 microwave from curry’s 3.5 yrs ago with a 3 year warranty.

I have been struggling with hospital appointments and been bed-bound for 12 months so my husband has had to do the cooking. I am now more mobile and on cleaning the microwave was horrified to see that the internal casing had almost rusted through and he hadn’t noticed.

We went to the store and was more or less told nothing could be done as it was out of warranty. I do not expect a product of this calibre and price to go rusty in such a short space of time. I had my previous microwave for 20 years and never experienced anything of this nature. I was told to ring Customer Services.

I rang the numbers they gave me the following day and after a long diatribe and going through the numerous options I was told to by an automated voice that they don’t repair microwaves and to return it to the store and then I was promptly cut off"…….appalling customer service!!

I checked on the website to email them my concerns and all of my emails to customer services got bounced back.

I need a microwave and have ordered another make from another supplier and would in no circumstances recommend curry’s after sales service. This is no way to treat your customers.

The fridge freezer had control panel failure. It is a struggle to get a repair from Currys as they expect or want you to buy their care plan!
I did have it repaired during the warranty, but broke down again, and still chasing them - at least wasting part of my time :(
I won't buy Kenwood again no matter what.

KSBSDIX16 Fridge-Freezer. This model will have a control panel failure within 2-3 years, mine 2yrs 1mth. You can read about this on so many forums. Purchased from Currys and out of warranty of course. I'm expected to get a engineers report, which they promise to repay if the report shows a manufacturing fault. Surely by now they must have so many reports or are they hoping that I will give up?

Had my tall fridge 2.5 years, I love the space but it has now lost the display and does not get cold. Milk and food going off quick, I have sent for a new door wire to get display back but unsure why that would stop fridge getting cold, the light works and it sounds on, things should last 10 years, this heap is designed to fail after warranty by reading other reviews, nice fridge badly designed

Kenwood American fridge freezer, fridge not working after only 5 years, looks like Kenwood are makers of Landfill.

Kenwood have such a good reputation for longevity of products, this is clearly no longer the case and the appliances of the 70s and 80s owned by our parents and grandparents are clearly no longer in production and have been replaced with cheap tat. I spent nearly £300 on a stand mixer which has broken just out of warranty and they want circa £150 to repair, also, the repair is subcontracted out to a company called Staffords who are rude at worst and indifferent at best. Spend a few extra pounds and get yourself a KitchenAid.

We got your Kenwood KSBNDIx18 fridge freezer less than 3 years ago. All mechanisms are plastic crap, that should never be part of a water system and frost.
The water dispenser lever broke in the first 6 months of light use, fortunately this was replaced under warranty.
6 months ago the ice bucket stopped dispensing, the plastic mechanism in the freezer that rotates the blades snapped off.
Now the plastic 'holders' that stick out of the door to hold the bucket in place have also snapped off.
Response from Kenwood was that I had to contact Currys where I purchased it and we all know how good their customer service is and the are expensive
I can buy the mechanism online but I can't find the plastic holders.
My friend has a Samsung and has never had an issue, will go for that next time.

Bought a KTLD60X15 fridge and KTF60X15 freezer from Currys in early 2019 and both initially worked fine. After a few months the fridge would beep every time the door was opened and then sometimes the display would stop working. Traced this to a broken wires in the wiring to the front display, the wires are routed through the top hinge and have to bend every time the door opens and have no strain relief. This is poor design since this type of wire routing without breaking the wires, i.e. strain relief, has been solved by many other manufacturers, fortunately being an electronics engineer I could solve this with a bit of re-soldering (the same thing is now happening on the freezer). However after just over two years the fridge is failing to hold a low temperature and sits at around 10 degrees with the fan on constantly. Currys will have nothing to do with it since it is out of warranty so I have opened the evaporator cover to find ice build up on the evaporator itself, so the auto defrost is not working. I expected a fridge with a 'good' name and price to match to last longer than two years before any repairs are needed. Having looked for a service manual I find it has Hisense all over it so is the fridge actually made by Hisense and badged? I would now not recommend Kenwood as a brand these days (we have had problems with other items from Kenwood such as mixers in the last few years too) and I would certainly think twice about using Currys to purchase from again.

On 2/5/21 my husband ordered a Kenwood Mixer MultiPro Express FDP65.860WH for £139.99 for my birthday. On 21/5/21 (19 days later) I opened the present. On 9/6/21(19 days later) the pulse action stopped working. Having contacted Kenwood, we returned the product for replacement or repair on 14/6/21 and as at today 5/7/21 our mixer has not been returned. This is very disappointing as my previous Kenwood mixer lasted or at least 25 years!

i HAVE BOUGHT 2 OF THE KENWOOD BLENDERS. THE FIRS LASTED A FEW YEARS BEFORE THE BLADE SURROUND SNAPPED, HOWEVER THE SECOND ONE HA SLASTED 8 MONTHS SAME FAULT . DISAPPONTED AS BOUGHT KENWOOD THINKING IT WAS A GOOD BRAND.

Bought an American style fridge freezer from Curry's,just 18 months old, display not working,no help from Curry's,just sent from Curry's to kenwood and vise versa,never buy from Curry's again and never a kenwood appliance.

Buyer beware. Bought a Kenwood KNF60X19 fridge freezer from Currys. After 2 weeks, the seal on the fridge door split. Contacted Currys, as per usual, not their problem so put me through to Kenwood. Took 9 months for the repair. After 13 months, fridge stopped working tho, bizarrely, the freezer continued to work. In the meantime, the fridge interior light ceased to function, instead flashing like a disco strobe light which caused me to go into a fit. Once again, Currys washed their hands, not their problem. Do not buy this product. I have bought second hand fridge freezers which have lasted far longer. Thirteen months lifespan for a brand new household electrical product is completely unacceptable. Please do not purchase this product, it will fail. If you buy from Currys, they will wash their hands and fob you off.

I bought a Kenwood American style fridge / freezer . After a few months the LED lighting inside the fridge failed. After just over 2 years the fridge completely failed to cool. I have never owned a fridge/freezer that failed so early in its life. Very poor. will never buy another Kenwood product ever again

Only had my K mix for approximately 2 months. I purchased it with a glass bowl (big mistake!) after using the mixture I tried to remove the bowl but it would not come off the stand. I contacted the support team who arranged for a courier to collect the machine to repair it. Had to wait in all day as the would not give me an approximate time for collecting the machine. 2 weeks later I received the mixer back. Glass bowl completely smashed inside the box and what was remaining of the bowl would not realise from the stand! No attempt had been made to protect the bowl for transportation.
I spoke to someone on the website chat to tell them what had happened. Was told that I would have to return the mixer once more and the would not charge me to repair the mixer again?
When I asked for an approximate time for collecting the mixer was told they couldn’t give me one and I would have to wait in all day once more.
Really bad customer service. And after reading the reviews for this product the same issue with the bowl not coming off the strand is a common fault wit this product. I will always buy Kitchen aid in the future.

j'ai acheté un robot kenwood pour faire mon pain le modèle chef xl de 1200 watts, en faisant pétrir un pain de 1kg de farine, il est tombé du plan de travail tellement il est peu stable depuis lors il ne fonction plus j'ai donc enlevé la partie électronique (impossible de la tester) il fonctionné à nouveau mais en pleine vitesse.
je m'en suis servi après avoir prétri manuellement mais il a RENDU l'AME (morpion nimus)

c'est une grosse arnarque je vous le déconseille ...je vais devoir trouver une autre marque si cela existe

Awful machine, this is a £500 mixer and its not worth a single penny.

1) Delivered scratch,
2) you cannot undo the bowl once you have run a knead cycle, it pushes the bowl on too tight.
3) It makes a very unnerving crunching noise under moderate loads
4) The cover on the front, under which you push in attachments is loose and cheap.

This is a cheaply made machine under a brand that has rested on it laurels for too long.

Buy something else,

If I could give them zero, then I would. Appalling experience with Kenwood.

Bought a KSBSDIX16 American Style Fridge Freezer with water Dispenser From Currys 14th Jan 2020.
After 3 months the water dispenser broke off, and it was repaired under the product warranty. After 12 months the water dispenser broke off again. Now it is no more covered by warranty, and I have to repair it out of my own pocket. Not happy, as this seems to be a factory defect, reading from other bad reviews on this fridge water dispenser. Would expect after spending more that 900£ on a product that such issues would be covered by Currys and Kenwood. Will not be looking to buy any Kenwood products again.

Bought a £300 Kenwood washing machine a couple of years ago. And its been alright. Not great but decent enough. The door seal just went and so thought it would be £15 replacement but as its just a rebranded machine from another company there's no spares, Kenwood were quite happy just to say sorry but computer says no. Spoke to a local shop that explained never to buy Kenwood for anything like this. Not only is the money for a new machine gutting but the getting rid of a fairly new machine because the rubber seal failed is so insanely wasteful. Shame on Kenwood. WIll tell everyone that's board enough to listen and never buy anything from them again.
