Just go Motorhomes - Edinburgh Recenzje 

Upon factory relocation you have no choice other than a £2500 deposit. We unfortunately had someone hit our wing mirror, they released the deposit and said there would be no further charges upon talking to them. 3 weeks later they took £708 claiming the costs of the damage. They didn’t contact us regarding this and have ignored correspondence. They charged for damage I didn’t sign to agree fault on and they have terrible customer service. It is a very risky game to play with £2500 deposit being the cost of your trip if anything was to go wrong. Very misleading and naughty overcharging for a wing mirror. They charged £100 per hour of labour when the average for the area where the work done is 45-75per hour. Refuse to break down costs or acknowledge the extortionate labour costs.

The heater died and we rented in December. Had plenty of gas, halfway through green, but had no heat for 3 nights in december.

Meanwhile, upcharges in the end were well over 100% of the cost of the rental! Bit of a bait and switch, watch your wallet!

Staff was kind- but the whole "you have a chemical toilet that works with chemicals......you can NOT use the chemicals that are essential the system, or buy some from us" "Your RV sleeps 4, but if you want bedding to actually sleep in it, you can buy it from us" We got talked into the highest insurance, then read it doesnt even cover the van for damage over 6' - meanwhile the van is 11.5' tall, the insurance also doesn't cover undercarriage, roof (and things on roof) or towing in certain situations. Overall, just stinks to think you found a deal on a rental, pay well over double what you anticipated, then have the heat out in december for 3/5 nights. They were going to have someone call us about this - never did, no refund, no we're sorry. Dodgy.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Staff were so helpful and responsive to phone calls, answered all our questions and were friendly and thorough. John checked us in and was very kind and helpful - the van itself was brilliant, good condition and easy to manage. We had a great experience renting with JustGo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future!

RV was clean, new and it handled the mountain terrain very well. The staff was beyond helpful.

Old Vehicle, no running water after 3 Days. Long waiting times.

So... just to follow up again after another 'month' today JustGo posted that they had been intouch with Edinburgh and the matter had been dealt with. Totally not true at all. Nobody has ever spoken to me or followed-up other than total denial. Do not trust them, do not expect anything but lies and shady business dealings. People encounter the same issues, hours and hours delays waiting to get your vehicle ( we were nearly 3 hours ), last minute switching to a vehicle you did not not book or choose ( ours was changed twice days before our holiday ), countless faults and failings on the vehicle ( our fridge didnt work and shiut off constantly over 8 days ) and MOST importantly suggesting you cause damage done previously ( photograph and video every single dent, scuff and mark on the vehicle - they told us it was not necessary then tried to stiff us with a huge charge until I challeneged them with video proof ). There are FAR better Van Rental companies in Scotland so dont trust these guys. They 'lie' and make up stories to get you out of their offices with promises of refunds and compensation then deflect constantly when you confront them with facts. Nobody has ever called me personally.

We've rented a motorhome last September. The motorhome was fine, I did not experience any technical issues with it.
We did have a small accident which was not our fault. Another motorhome hit our drivers mirror during a narrow turn. We filled out the accident report and handed it over during the vehicle return inspection and signed off the return form.

Three days later I found out that JustGo charged my credit card with an amount of 570 Pounds. The communication with JustGo was in such poor state that it took me 2 months to get any clarification on why this amount has been charged. The invoice showed that the costs of the drivers mirror damage were passed on to us when it was not even our fault. But these were not the only costs. I found 2 technical items on this invoice of which I was not aware and which were not mentioned during the vehicle return check. And again the communication with JustGo was very poor to clarify why I was charged with these costs. I eventually gave up and will forward this invoice to my travel insurance agent in the hope to receive some of the costs back. It's unbelievable that after having rented motorhomes in the US, Canada and New-Zealand without any issues and hidden costs I have to experience this with an European rental company. Will never again rent vehicles at JustGo.

They call us, the day before to tell that we have to be at the agency before 4pm and if we were late, we will have to wait the day after to have the motorhome.
We were on time but the guy was very fast, just waiting to leave the office. He said "the motorhome you rent is damage but you will have an other of the same categroy. It is this one. My collegue will show you. Have a nice travel.". But the motorhome we had was smaller and not at all the same category. Then an other guy came and say that if we really want the same category of what we had payed for, we have to come back the next morning. It's was we did. We have losted time but we had the one for which we had payed.
During our travel, somebody has touched our motorhome. We had signed an european accident form and on it the guy recocgnize that he was responsible. But one week after our travel, we have recieved a bill to pay this dammage. I had to write and send all the documents again and I had lost a lot of time. Finally they have cancelled the note. But I think that they have tried. For me this agency is not clean and not correct. They just try to get the most money they can from the tourist and they are not humain !!!

Slow start apart, we were told our van would be ready from 3pm, actual hand over was around 5pm, the van was top notch and every tip we received was spot on and let us enjoy a beautiful holiday around the highlands.

Easy to do the check in and check out. Helpful staff and easy to deal with.

Flawless experience for the first time ever being in an and using a RV. John was helpful in the beginning going over everything and their YouTube videos helped prepare myself.

This was the second time we've used just go and it definitely won't be the last.
The staff are really enthusiastic and happy to help to make your experience as care free and enjoyable as possible.
Can't wait for next year's trip!

I do not like to leave bad reviews as often feel people need to be given a chance and bad experiences may just be a one off occurrence, but the experience I have had with JustGo is verging on diabolical.
We had a problem with the main fuse keep tripping off from the 2nd day of out 18 day rental when hooked up to a supply, no one could come out so we ended up taking it to a garage to get looked at (approved by justgo) and had to pay the fee ourselves even though we were told they used them before and would invoice justgo. Unfortunately the problem wasn't fixed and we went out out way to try and get a new fuse, we gave up in the end and lived with keep flicking the trip switch back on every time, sometimes every 20 mins. On returning to the depot we had a lengthy discussion with the manager and he agreed to pay the garage bill and some compensation for our troubles, since then 6 weeks on despite numerous emails and phone calls (even spoke to the guy again 4 weeks ago and he promised wed get pid back in 10 days) we still have not had our garage bill money back or the compensation.
The frontline staff are helpful and always say they it will be passed on or they'll get back to me after speaking to accounts but no one does!!! Seems the management are ignoring are requests and no one is bothered sorting it out.

Hopefully this review with give someone a kick up the butt and pull their finger out to get it sorted.

Friendly welcome when we arrived. The signup and introduction process was smooth and efficient. The return process was equally as smooth.

Usually there are 2 ramps for levelling a camper at sites and these are on offer as an added extra. I think these items should be offered as part of the camper inventory. If not returned the cost reimbursed.

In the JustGo shop there are household items that have been returned from previous camper rentals for example olive oil, washing liquid and other items. These were never offered for continued use for the new rental. I would have used a number of these items. I understand that offering these items might offend some but a sign to let others know that the items can be used would have informed me.

I will use JustGo again.

Everything was great, communication before the Motorhome collection, self check-in, tour & presentation, videos, docs and real check-in "live" with people from Just Go. They are clear, usefull, give a lot of details. Same for the check-out when we get back from our trip.
