Had a problem with one of the legs on my chair emailed them and promptly got a reply and new leg sent out straight away excellent service

I received an excellent service from the Julian Bowen team. A big thanks to Leanne P who was very prompt in providing a quote for bunk bed parts, also had a follow up email from Leanne to ensure all parts were received and they were the contact items. A great service from start to finish.

A flat packed wardrobe was delivered without assembly instructions. I was pleasantly surprised when Julian Bowen emailed the instructions the next working day. Thank you for your prompt response.

Having returned a Hugo tub chair to Dunelm this morning with no joy from them.I decided to drive from Leicester to Julian Bowen's depot in Nottinghamshire to try and solve my problem with the chair.( faulty leg) Because the chair was out of warranty I wasn't expecting the outcome I received. Not only did they not ask any questions or mention the warranty, they replaced the faulty chair with a new one. A big thank you to Georgia for her help. Kevin Brooks.

We ordered a Walnut & Black rectangular table top, which arrived very promptly.

Unfortunately one corner of the top was slightly damaged - the surface had raised. Whether this was a manufacturing fault or a problem with shipping, I don't know - the packaging showed no external signs of damage.

A quick call to their Customer Service department, with a follow up email was all it took; and a couple of days later a replacement top arrived - which is in perfect condition.

It's always nice to encounter great service; but even better when that service is good when something has gone wrong.

I have been dealing with Georgia Burrel. Customer service at its greatest. She helped me out with a problem with a frame I bought from a retailer, who they supply to. The retailer was not going to give me a full refund because they did not agree they mis sold it. After explaining all the details to Georgia that some details of the frame size were not clear, she took note of this, agreed with me, contacted them & they eventually agreed my full refund. My thanks to her for looking in to the problem for me when a retailer of their products didn't care, she went over & above.

I’m an interior designer and I use Julian Bowen on a regular basis to furnish HMO’s, Serviced accommodation units and properties I’m staging for the sales market. The service provided by my account managers Sam and Liam is superb. Recently I’ve had a number of last minute projects and Sam has really gone above and beyond to help me with the orders.

Richard, head of the logistic department also regularly goes above and beyond doing all he can to accommodate my timings and requirements.

A wonderful team - thank you for all your help and support in 2023 and I look forward to working with them in 2024!

After a part of the bed went missing and being blatantly lied to my a certain major retailer ( whose name I wont mention but there is a major rainforest named after it ) I contacted Julian Bowen directly and arranged for the missing parcel ( or a direct replacement ) to be sent out to me. Arrived within 2 days. Many thanks to Stacey and all involved for the assistance and going above and beyond.

Purchased Oak dining table & chairs. Good quality furniture for a reasonable price. Did have a problem with one of the chairs, emailed company and problem was quickly resolved by Leanne P on customer services.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and WORST QUALITY PRODUCTS I've EVER SEEN. I wish I'd read the reviews here before ordering as it seems like my experience is very standard for a lot of their customers..... I think furniture stores who stock them should STRONGLY consider dropping JULIAN BOWEN as "recommended suppliers".

I ordered a Julian Bowen Carnegie dining set via the Robert Dyas website, it arrived with lots of different problems: the two chairs and table top were scratched to death and dented, it literally looks like someone has taken a knife and screws to them! The two chairs are also COMPLETELY different colours to each other AND then they are also both completely different colours to the table top!! On seeing this we didn't even bother opening the box with the bench in, so who knows what kind of state that's in!....

I immediately took photos and submitted them the same day as delivery along with a detailed description of all of the problems via the Robert Dyas website, as required. A few days later I was told that Julian Bowen had told Robert Dyas that they "couldn't open the photos" so could I please submit them in a different format. I did this IMMEDIATELY and resent the photos in a very standard jpeg format. Another 3 days later I still hadn't heard anything back, so called Robert Dyas. They then called Julian Bowen as they hadn't heard anything back since the photos had been resent. Julian Bowen said they still could not open the photos. (everyone else, including Robert Dyas could all open and view the photos perfectly fine, as they were sent in very standard image file formats, so this seemed suspicious. Also if they couldn't open the pictures again, why didn't they email back days before to say this, why did it take for Robert Dyas to call them 3 days later for them to claim this!). The photos were then sent in a THIRD file format, and another 3 days later, Julian Bowen contacted Robert Dyas to say they were only willing to exchange the set because the items were natural wood so the colours could not be guaranteed.....ERM WHAT?!

Firstly, they COMPLETELY IGNORED the fact and all of the photos of the items all scratched and dented, they literally did not address this damage AT ALL in their response. Secondly trying to claim that it's the natural woods fault for the colour issues is LAUGHABLE. Absolutely NO WHERE in the sale listing did it say that the wood colours may be mismatched (and really the mismatch of colours isn't even subtle, they all look like they belong to completely different sets!). As well as not mentioning anywhere in the description that the colours may not match, the photos on the listing show the chairs/tables/bench all PERFECTLY matching each other!!!! I have screen shotted the full sale listing which is date and time stamped to prove this! I certainly would not have purchased this table if the listing showed photos of the terrible set that I received or if they had mentioned in the description that it all wouldn't match each other!!! SO SO SO misleading!!!!

Julian Bowen have sent damaged, sub-par products that do not match the listing description or pictures. They are LEGALLY required to collect the items and return my money, yet they seem to be doing absolutely everything they can do avoid/delay doing this. This is still an ongoing issue, but safe to say I will not be letting this go. I have £450 worth of JUNK just sitting in my house waiting to be collecting and refunded.

We recently had some confusion with an order we placed a fortnight ago, however this was sorted and fixed with help from Freya Phillips (Direct Home Delivery Team). Freya has outstanding customer service and was extremely helpful throughout this process, quick and sincere emails that were very easy to understand and extremely polite and patient.

I bought a recliner chair and foot stool through Amazon from the company in September 2022 in November 2023 i had a problem with one of the feet Amazon advised me to contact the company direct even though the guarantee had expired i phoned and spoke to Leanne P she was so helpful and polite she sent me a replacement part in the post within 3 days and there was no charge fantastic service

Very quick response and issue sorted out immediately.
