Went according to plan. Friendly and helpful staff.

My car was serviced at John Clarke’s in Perth at the end of January.
I was asked prior to the service if there were any issues with the vehicle. I knew that the brakes needed work and one of the front windscreen wipers was worn.
I was informed that checking the wiper blades was part of the service, and as the service was the last one on the service plan I was under the impression that the wiper blades would be changed anyway.
When I got the vehicle back the brakes had been sorted, no problem but on the drive home it began to rain and I quickly realised that the wiper blades had not been changed at all.
According to the service sheet that we’re supposed to have been checked. Luckily it wasn’t getting MOT’d the following day because it would have failed due to defective wiper blades.
When I phoned up the following day I was informed that the wiper blades weren’t changed as part of the service so this was possibly my misunderstanding. However, I’m fairly sure they should have been checked and obviously they hadn’t been.

Bought Honda Civic at Perth branch, within 2 days a grinding screeching noise occurred doing reverse turn. Contacted Sales rep by phone and email but no reply.
Spoke to customer services and was advised to bring car back.
Took it back to garage 48 miles away be told it was an issue with a CV joint, it was plastic rather than rubber, was advised that they lubricated it and it had been resolved but was advised to contact Honda directly to request a recall to have joint replaced with rubber.
Three days later same issue, grinding screeching while doing reverse turn, issue unresolved. Not happy.

Malcolm was professional and friendly and showed that he was very experienced in his role,, and with Daryl Howie advice too My whole experience couldn’t have went any smoother….

Malcolm and Ben who sold me the car were both very easy to deal with and made the whole process very stress free. The presentation of the vehicle was also exceptional at pick up. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Car was booked in for a routine service and for the rear brakes to be fixed. On arrival to collect the car later that day, only the service had been completed. I was advised that the workshop was overbooked by 14 hours that day and they did nor have time to do the brakes. They also said they did not have the parts needed. I have subsequently taken my car elsewhere to have the brakes repaired.

1st class service. Puts Peter Vardy Aberdeen to shame. Well worth travelling to Perth.

Checked under manufacturer warranty and quick to resolve problem, great service and vehicle care.

Car picked up and returned washed. Great service.

Cheerful, friendly staff however open, honest communication is key for me. This unfortunately would deter me to return. Hopefull to have registration documents soon.

Worst experience of ever buying a car. Malcolm Bell from Perth Motorchoice was terrible to deal with, full of lots of false promises but didn’t back up a single thing he said. Also refused to discuss anything via email, only liked speaking on phone so he could give out false promises and follow through on nothing. Would advice everyone to not use John Clark Motorchoice in Perth. Dated my experience but trust me it’s lasted 3 months and counting.

Beware when trading in your car, I asked the salesman what part of the V5 document I was to return. I was told to leave it he would deal with it.It wasn't sent back. After numerous phone
calls finally managed to speak to a manager. When speaking to him I was made to feel like he was doing me a favour by him going to fight my case. One year after buying new car I'm getting daily phone calls from a debt collection agency about paying a £80 fine because the document wasn't returned. I feel cheated and l am going to pay the fine for trusting the salesman.

Didn’t have a great experience, between having to go to aberdeen on the Saturday from Elgin to only find out once I was in aberdeen at 11:30 that the person I was dealing with hadn’t phoned me before I got on the train to say he wouldn’t be coming up because of an issue in Perth office with illness. I’m sure he would have known this before 11:30. Then eventually did meet on the Sunday however no kind of apology offer (such as reimbursing any train expenses from either that day or previous day) and leaving me with no petrol in the tank. Will be doing my best to avoid any dealings in future.

poor communication on car preparation and collection, only interested in taking the money before delivery of car due to month end revenue. when i said i'm not paying up front, didn't hear from them until i chased.
