We ordered 2 x Edwardian writing bureaus for the alcoves in our living room. There is limited space so we had the items made bespoke. The bureaus have arrived and its a perfect fit for the space intended. The quality is lovely and very good workmanship. Would recommend.

Ordered a wardrobe on 28-11-21 and told it would take 8 to 10 weeks to deliver (~£800).

29-03-22 - 20 weeks later and with no sign of the wardrobe - they offered 50% refund within 7 days and to notify me when it arrived (in 2 to 3 weeks they said for the second time).

08-04-22 - 1 week later and no sign of first refund -they said they would give me full refund within 7 days.

29-04-22 - another 3 weeks later - still no sign of refund.

I have now filed to try and get my money back via my credit card provider.

I will update the review if anything changes.

We just had our 2nd order delivered from here. Furniture is absolutely lovely, arrived assembled and protected. Some of the drawer handles were missing but I got in contact with the office and they sorted it out quickly for me

Steer well clear of this dreadful company! Ordered a bedroom suite back in January, was told 8-10 weeks delivery, furniture never arrived so I asked for a refund so that I could buy elsewhere, customer service is zero, nobody answers queries, emails, returns phone calls. They promised a refund within 3-5 days 3 weeks ago, over £2000 but still nothing! I have no choice but to take this further now, they’ve had my money since January!

We bought the five shelf glazed bookcase for a room with similar furniture, it is a lovely shade of mahogany colour , very sturdy and well made. It was delivered to room of choice by a helpful delivery man . Great service

Had our 2nd order from Island Furniture delivered this week, the bookcase is excellent quality but shame that the drivers could not take away the packaging

The Versailles TV cabinet is beautiful, very good quality and looks great in my living room, would definitely recommend Island Furniture Co

I bought a circular teak garden table and 4 chairs. The delivery was on time and the furniture is exactly as I expected and very good quality. My only issue was that the boxes were marked 1 chair per box and the driver told us to report a shortfall. However upon opening the boxes there were 2 chairs per box so all was fine.

When putting our sleigh bed together there were some screws missing, after informing the office some replacement screws were sent out overnight. I am pleased with the quality of the bed.

Great quality, fast delivery , we will shop here again.

Got my 2 bookcases delivered this week. Good quality furniture , well made but am a bit disappointed that you cannot store large size books vertically and get them out due to the lip on the side of the each shelf. A few more inches in height would be ideal.

I ordered 3 pcs of furniture from this company. The order was delivered within 2 weeks, however 1 pce arrived damaged so it was sent back on the delivery van. After emailing them, the problem was dealt with promptly and the replacement was send out immediately. Thank you for your prompt action Island Furniture

We recently bought a corner TV unit from Island Furniture. Initially it was out of stock but they kept us informed when the new stock was in. It was delivered last Monday and it looks very smart in our front room. I would recommend Island Furniture to anyone looking for good quality furniture.

Terrible quality of furniture, all items of bedroom suite purchased only a year ago are shrinking, warping and now cracking. When iformed the company offered us a diy stain kit and an explanation that our home must be to warm and too dry??? Ridiculous statement! Since the. They do not answer emails. Now onto legal stage .

Beautiful well-made furniture. I purchased a partner desk and captains chair from them. Superb items that arrived really promptly with no fuss from the drivers who took away all the packaging - three cheers for Island Furniture

Very good, ordered a Lion throne chair for my saloon and it arrived within a couple of weeks and I love the product. I did receive prompt replies to my delivery queries. Just an after thought, if you could offer a timed delivery it would be of great help and I wouldn't mind paying extra for the service

I purchased a butchers block in November 2021. The item delivered is not as described on their website. The website states it is made of solid hardwood, I can confirm it is not made of any hardwood, in fact the materials used are of chipboard quality heavily varnish to mask the poor quality.

The varnish is chipping away each time I place an object on it. The sides and top of the butchers block are glued, the glue is now visible and the sides are starting to bow. This is not going to last more than 6 months before it collapses and in need of refurbishment or the skip.

I have sent numerous emails to Island Furniture but they are ignored. I have called but the mailbox is full.

If you are thinking of purchasing a butchers block or anything else from this company, please be cautious. The butchers block is not manufactured to a satisfactory standard, nor is it compatible to the description on their website. More worryingly, they are not contactable to resolve.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the TV cabinet that was delivered . I needed a TV unit small enough to fit in my narrow alcove and this does the job perfectly and it fits my 55 inch TV nicely.
