Policy search for cancer patients.
Having searched wide for cover of cancer traveller I found this site to be realistic with very applicable screening questions to deliver a sensible cover.

Insurewith is the name of the broker, but please search Trustpilot for TIF Group to obtain reviews when trying to make a claim, they ignore phone calls and emails, they are quite happy to leave you stranded in hospital with unpaid bills, TIF Group are blacklisted from most major private hospitals in Asia, In Europe they will ask you to claim under the European Health Insurance Card (which you could do without Travel Insurance)

It maybe a good deal and seem like a simple process but your health is worth more than dealing with this company, i would strongly advise against taking a policy with Insurewith your health is worth more than just a simple application process.

My case is being forwarded to the Financial Services Ombudsman and via a legal route , once resolved i will post further details

Excellent customer service and well priced

I was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in Oct 2015.
After 18 weeks of chemo I started a course of Herceptin.
Given every 3 weeks through a cannula, still ongoing now after 2 1/2 years.
After trying numerous company’s to get a weeks holiday insurance they all considered herceptin as chemotherapy, which it is not, it is hormone treatment. Quotes recieved were from £1450 to £2500 for a week in Lanzarote.
Insure with were the final company on my list before giving up.
The do not class herceptin as Chemo and as such quoted me £86!,!
I have used them a number of times since, today in fact, my self and my wife who had breast cancer in 2002: are insured for 2 weeks in turkey in June for £116.
The staff I spoke to on the phone were absolutely brilliant, answered all of my questions, very polite informative and professional.

I have been clear of Stage 4 melanoma for 3 months. Recently, I had a brain op to remove suspected low grade infection - this was not cancer related.

However, this 'specialist' medical insurance company cannot provide me with even basic, single trip cover within Europe where I pay any cancellation costs due to cancer! Furthermore, they cowardly didn't even call me to tell me; they sent me a vague email instead.

I want to know what algorithms they use to assess my risk. I'm fairly certain they have outdated information and I'm confident that an 18-year old going skiing with their mates is higher risk than me.

I'll be writing to the BBC, Watchdog and the Independent. I'll also be raising a formal complaint and contacting FCA, Trading Standards (for misrepresentation of their service), and various Equality and Discrimination organisations.

This cannot continue - 50% of our population will have cancer at some point. Can we really risk 50% travelling with no insurance?

This company is able to give insurance for those who have major health issues at a very competitive rate. At least will entertain and not give silly answers with inflated cost. Great to use!!
