Robert Najarian was extremely helpful …
Robert Najarian was extremely helpful in my carpet choice for our basement. It was a small job but Robert treated me and my project as if it was a large costly project! He was sensitive to my budget and provided multiple cost estimates. The father/son installer team installed the carpet brilliantly! They made extra effort when carpeting our challenging staircase. They were very neat; after the job, you never would have known they were in the house!

P.S. the stain remover that I was given did take care of the light rust stain! (left on carpet from metal bed frame) :-)

Incorrect quality of carpet installed
Incorrect quality of carpet installed - was told I would not be compensated for my inconvenience. I scheduled a painter for 2 weeks after carpeting - am now told that if the walls are damaged when the second carpet is laid (which will be after the painter comes), that I will be responsible for paint touch up if necessary. Unbelievable! Jeanne and Joe were great but the overall experience so far has been disastrous.

I am so sorry for this inconvenience that you have experienced with your recent installation. We have notified the manufacturer of the issues with your carpet and are confident that everything will be inspected and taken care of for you. Manufacturer issues happen once in a while and are out of our control but we will do our very best to expedite the replacement of carpet and when we do reinstall the new carpet, you can be rest assured that our installation team will take utmost care and caution to the freshly painted walls. Our installers are 5 Diamond Certified and we take much pride in their knowledge of products and experience of installing those products. We understand your frustrations but also confident that we can turn your "disastrous" experience into a great one. I want to thank you for your understanding and patience through these next few steps. I give you my word, if there are any tarnished areas on your walls we will make sure they are taken care of for you.

Fantastic Service!
I cannot say enough good things about this company. The owner, Bob Francavilla, was a pleasure to deal with from the start, as was the rest of the staff. Bob listened to what I needed and worked with my budget. Any time I had a question I received a quick and thorough response. On the day of installation, the installers Joe Bazzoun and his partner arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They could have not have been nicer to myself and my children. I would highly recommend this company and will surely work with them again the next time I am in need of carpet. I have already recommended them to several friends and colleagues. If you’re looking for an honest company with a quality product, Independent Carpet One is a an ideal choice.

Postive experience, Professional Interactions & Timely Responses
We had a positive experience with Independent Carpet One in Westland. Robert provided exceptionally well-balanced service throughout the process. He responded in a very timely manner to our initial inquiry, subsequent emails and phone calls. He was knowledgable and approachable.
We were also pleased with Ted, the carpet installation technician. He was courteous, skilled and I felt comfortable with him in our home. The carpet we selected met are expectations and we are very pleased with the outcome.
The only thing that I did not like was the sign that was placed in our front yard. Unless someone is paying me to advertise, I do not want advertising materials placed on our property. I indicated (on our initial receipt) that I did not want the sign (there was a spot for this) and also during a phone call I received the day before the installation. The lady who called asked about the sign and I was very clear about our desire not to have the sign displayed. Perhaps there was a miscommunication about the sign. At any rate this little mishap would not influence my willingness to conduct business in the future.
I would recommend Independent Carpet One Westland without reservations.

Love our new flooring! Had both carpet and LVT installed and they both look beautiful.

Excellent response to an aggressive schedule
The team at Carpet One helped us get our new house carpeted prior to move-in when other carpet stores could not. They worked with the factory to get our carpet on time with great installation! We highly recommend Carpet One and will be buying more carpet in the future from them.

The in-office experience was wonderful …
The in-office experience was wonderful - everyone was so helpful and timely calling me back, even though my busy schedule didn't always allow for me to answer. The carpet I chose was perfect for my room and I had a lot of help with choosing what was right for me.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is that I am fairly certain I received the wrong padding installed. I was sure to order the thickest padding for the stairs and whole upstairs room; however, even after installed, you can still see small gaps between the wall and stairs, gap spaces where we painted down to the old carpet (which had a really thin pad) that are still visible even with the new carpet. I was not on-site during installation so I wasn't there to evaluate the padding, but it's hard for me to believe it's the right thickness.

I reviewed your purchase and the Healthy Living Cushion is our thickest pad allowed by the Carpet & Rug Institute and is our best padding that we carry. 7/16" is maximum required for carpet installation and I am confident that this is what was sent out to your home. Keep in mind the padding doesn't go all the way to the wall, only up to the tack strip so that the carpet can be stretched and attached for it to stay in tact. When the carpet gets tucked around the perimeter of the room is possibly why you are seeing a gap of existing wall and newly painted areas. it is always best to paint all the way beyond the existing carpet down to the floor if possible. if you'd like us to send my installation manager out to your home please don't hesitate to ask. We'd be happy to verify all your questions.

Great customer service
Great customer service! The sales associate spent as much time with us as needed for us to decide on a carpet choice. Then after the installation, I had an additional request and the next day I received a call and the installer was back out to my home. He was very meticulous and honored my request without hesitation. When everything was completed I started looking forward to my next home project of purchasing window treatments. I will definitely use this company for that purchase as well as any future purchases. The quality is excellent and the customer service speaks volumes. I would highly recommend this company. Very pleased!
