Fantastic service
I had £2,300 winnings confiscated due to using a third party card. The casino were point blank refusing to payout. I emailed ibas and was replied to almost instantly. I was assigned a case worker who (James ironside) who was so efficient. Because of the panels intervention, the casino agreed to pay the winnings and I have just received the money into my bank. Without IBAS help, I would not have got those winnings and I am so grateful for this service. Thank you again for your support.

No response to my dispute after 3 years!
I raised a complaint about Karamba in February 2019. I was advised by e mail that my complaint had been accepted and the running time was between 12-14 weeks. By February 2022 I had not received an outcome so e mailed asking for an update. I did not receive a reply. I then followed the official complaint process to raise a complaint, I am yet to receive even an acknowledgement of my official complaint some one month later. If IBAS were not willing to investigate my concern with Karamba they should have said so at the time so I could have explored other possibilities!

I had a issue were a book maker took a bet but refused to pay it out as they said I was late doing the bet.
The case manager, James Ironside, was able to get the bet paid out and the case resolved to my satifaction. He was very professional and courtious.
I was given a turn around time from James of 10 weeks but everything was resolved in less than 4 weeks.
I would recommend IBAS to any punter who has a dispute with a bookmaker as they are impartial and fair.

Typical ibas only take on cases when they no they can worm it around to side with the gambling company’s check there reviews seems like they only ever take action against duplicate accounts cases there a waste of time only side with the gambling businesses not interested in helping people when they get robbed clearly I had to put my DETIALS in THERE system how can they not pick up duplicate accounts on creation?

Toller Service!!!
Ich hatte einen Fall, bei dem Ron Hearn mir sehr viel geholfen hat. Der Anbieter b-bets hat mir einen Bonus offeriert, bei dem der Rollover nach 14 Tagen erfolgen sollte. Kein Problem dachte ich. Lustigerweise entschied sich b- bets aus dem Deutschland- Geschäft mit Sportwetten auszusteigen. Jetzt hatte ich einen Rollover zu erfüllen, aber keine Chance mehr Wetten zu platzieren. Durch die Vermittlung von Ron hat sich b- bets dann kooperativ gezeigt und mir das komplette Geld zurück bezahlt ( obwohl ich schon etwas verloren hatte. Das war dann auch sehr fair von b- bets, jedoch ohne den Einsatz von Ron hätte b- bets mit Sicherheit nicht eingelenkt.

Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time. I was told they would solve my issue within 12/14 weeks but it has been well over 8 months. I have been emailing them every 2/3 weeks for any updates and I am being told the same thing over and over again (the case manager is working on it blah blah blah). There should really be a different governing body to make complaints about IBAS as they clearly do not care.

Corrupt
. I initially thought they were going to help but eventually sided with bookmaker which I thought was impossible.
The bookmakers kyc system blocked my deposit method which was my husbands PayPal account we use for eBay. The following day they emailed me and said they have unblocked the kyc system and I can now deposit and play. So I used the PayPal account they unblocked and encouraged me to deposit with. After winning bits and bobs on everything from horses to poker and slots I tried to withdraw 400 pounds. They closed my account and said I was using a third party deposit option. ( The one that they unblocked from the kyc to allow me to use and encourage me to use ) If I lost all my deposit , I'd of never in a million years got it back. If that would be the case the bookies owe me thousands on other sites for using hubbies PayPal. Betfred are frauds too. They didn't give a reason why they closed my account and didn't reply until ibas was involved and then it was pure lies.

Complete waste of time for me. Always rule with the bookies if they can. Stat bets such as Shots on target and tackles etc are not looked at properly as IBAS always state they rule with the bookies. They just refer to terms saying settled on opta stats. It does not matter in the slightest if these are incorrectly logged stats by opta. Clear evidence, including video footage, live commentary’s etc are not considered. Basically pointless if you are unhappy with the settlement of a bet. IBAS take months to sort a reply too.

THEY DO NOT HELP WITH BETTING COMPLAINTS
I had an issue with skybet last September over a bet.
As skybet would not pay up I took my complaint to IBAS last october (2020) initially they were helpful and said they usually take about 6 weeks to adjudicate on bookmakers complaints. I heard nothing for 3 monthes so I contacted them and they said covid19 was slowing there response times up.
I waited a further 6 weeks without response and then e mailed them and they said they would have a decision within 4 weeks. Another 6 weeks passed and still no response with a decision. By then 6 monthes had passed and it was the end of april without any resolution. I have e mailed them 4 times since the beginning of May and not once has any of my e mails been answered. This is outrageous as they are meant to be an arbitor between punters and bookmakers!
Beware with IBAS as it is just another arm of bookmakers protecting there money and they do not care about punters and there complaints.

this is a clear breach of the gambling consumer rights and i will be getting the government to look into this, Ladbrokes also breached it back in 2019 as their terms and conditions are very unfairly weighted against the consumer which ibas used in their defense to fight against my case which resulted in me losing and no outcome apart from me making a loss for no reason, I will also be bringing this up in my meeting in 3 weeks with the head of the government gambling commission, I will also be having them look into the corruption in IBAS, I hope 1 year from now the reviews will take a opposite direction for the good and everyone will be happy but it all depends on the next three weeks i guess

IBAS/Corruption
IBAS, are paid for by the bookmakers, they will always pay out in favour of the bookmaker. I had a scenerio where they advised as some of the payments were third party they should be refunded (it was about £30) they did not know i have a previous case with the SAME critera (but the amount was near £1200) and off course they went in favour of the bookmaker for that one...can you imagine a court where THE SAME CASE has a different outcome!!! They are corrupt.

I have contacted several press agencies with the response i got today from Jim Cremin,as he has clearly stated that Ibas will not ever help me!! They rule as they feel,its no big secret they are "not on the customers side". Look at reviews,if IBAS were genuinely helping people,and were genuinely the good guys,why are your reviews so low?? Sadly,the entire gaming industry in the uk is up there with the most corrupt in the world. Sad times

Sadly I am an honest punter and after a large win on a straightforward horse racing accumulator bet I did daily for years was ruled dishonest - strangely I’d been deemed honest with the company in question and never had a problem for years until a big win. They then had me through hoops despite sending many many documents including applying for a new passport being sent proving I was they refused to pay. Sent to IBAS who ruled had to prove documentation to them, all already done and after months am back to square one. No chance of pay out on this bet. clearly don’t care about an honest punter just gone round in a full circle. Many thanks.
