A brilliant experience from the ibas
A brilliant experience from the ibas. Having disagreed with the decision of a gaming companies decision, Ibas reviewed my concerns, addressed the issue with the company and found in my favour.
Once engaged the process took less than 4 weeks.
I'm personally very grateful of the support I received and would highly recommend ibas.

Hi i had a complaint against Betfair…
Hi i had a complaint against Betfair who advised me to use IBAS to adjudicate my complaint as they use IBAS as their main adjudicator and would abide by there decision. However after submitting my complaint and a wealth of evidence i was contacted by a Jim Cremin from IBAS whom instead of adjudicating on my complaint he went on to evaluate my health and wellbeing and went on to lecture me on what i should do. I only wanted him to do his job adjudicate not a health check, what an idiot he prolonged my complaint which had to be sent to the Gambling Commission to rule on. IBAS waste of time dont bother.

Paid out after IBAS intervened
I had a 6 fold all winning go suspended until a team was losing and lost out on big money. Was told by 365 it was a glitch but contacted IBAS and was offered a pay out within a few weeks of opening a case. Brilliant company. Don't let the bookies scam you.

IBAS deem fraud and security faults acceptable.
I don't normally make reviews, but I felt the annoyence and stress of getting my money back over a 5 month period (which I finally did after going through court) substantial enough to comment how bad IBAS really is with dealing with disputes, especially when it comes to security and gambling awareness.
After a data breach from another site, the third party was able to gain a identical password from where ever and get into my Smarkets betting account, delete my card off the system, add a Monzo card with no information connected to me (I don't own one), take every cent out of the account on to said card and no withdrawal notification or email from smarkets other than confirming my money was successful taken. I tried the police that was advised but I knew they would be useless.
After disputing this with smarkets back and fourth with tons of emails. The best they could do was make a gesture of goodwill, basically taking no fault for the security of my account. They gave me credit of the amount I lost and only 7 days to use it, which basically implies you to rush spend before the week ends, great gambling awareness. The catch was, I had to deposit real money again and what I lost would be converted back to me through the credit refund. They also suspiciously asked for proof of address ect after this whole ordeal which you can expect I would not provide to a company with zero security.
IBAS saw no issues with any of this, they clearly think it's okay to be frauded, a company to lack security and force gambling stress on to customers, thankfully I match bet.
They also said to take the original offer and court wasn't a good idea. Well you were wrong on that one. I got all my money back, plus smarkets had to pay the court fees.
Honestly, don't take anything they say as gospel, you'll probably find they're more on the side of the bookies than yourself.

Disappointing
Entered my complaint over an incorrect timed bet admitting I made a genuine mistake on the name of a virtual race
Betfred re-entered my bet and replaced it for a later time without my knowledge but said I had agreed to that
I explained that no such conversation took place but IBAS would not look at it as an appeal and just took Betfred s lies as true without question
Won't ever be using Betfred shops again and doubtfully IBAS should I ever have another issue

Jim cremin was great help, I had a bad experience with Heyspin, please nobody ever sign up to their site, shocking customer service, 18 days of ridiculous excuses after I made a withdrawal saying it was stuck, nonsense, as soon as I mentioned I got IBAS involved, suddenly they paid out. Excellent work guys, keep it up.

I had a dispute with Luckster over a series of bets that were voided in play while the bets were going to be won/had already been won. Funnily enough there were other bets on the same match that stood, some on the same market as other bets that were voided! I complained given the amount I was owed and Luckster refused to even reply for months, and promised to reply but did not do so, so I contacted IBAS. Ron Hearn assisted me in my email queries and my case manager was James Ironside. Everything was paid out. I very much recommend using IBAS if you ever have a problem with a bookie/casino, they are very good at what they do.

Dispute partly upheld
As per the title: Dispute partly upheld, but I completely accept this decision.
Contacted IBAS after a Casino refused to pay winnings of x100 of a £38 bet, due to a "glitch" despite me having screenshots to prove.
It took quite some time for IBAS to reach their decision due to the Casino not providing a final decision and them going back and forth with the game provider.
Eventually after 4mths, IBAS received all information and made their decision.
Unfortunately the decision went partly in the favour of the casino due to the casinos "malfunction" T&C, however as the Third party game provider had made an offer of compensation IBAS deemed that this was acceptable for resolution.
If you have issues with a Betting company or casino I would recommend contacting IBAS under the ADR procedure.
If you think your issue is a lost cause try IBAS, it's a free service & their knowledge could help in a successful claim.

Absolutely waiste of time
Absolutely waiste of time. We can tell who pays their wages.
I have a solid case against genesis casino my solicitor also agrees its a solid case.
I have tried to resolve the matter on resolver and with ibas but they just fobbed me off. Cant say I was surprised.
Just hope they relise that they are accountable for their response when this goes to professional standards.

My query resolved so quickly and efficiently.
. Sent an email to IBAS re query about calculating an each way bet. A gentleman named Ron answered me instantly. He was so polite and courteous and even though I sent a few more emails he always answered. He sorted the query efficiently and in a professional way. I will tell my family and friends about IBAS and how good a job you are doing. Well done Ron.

Impressive service
I had a similar experience to one of the other IBAS reviewers. I placed a series of bets at Betiton (another one of the bookmakers run by the Aspire Global group). They reduced the odds of my bets (after I bet) by over 80%. I complained but they told me the deduction was correct. After nine weeks and about twenty emails, Betiton had still not paid up correctly so I contacted IBAS. James Ironside took up my case and Betiton resettled my bets correctly as soon as he contacted them. I can not fault the service provided by IBAS. I was very impressed.

Unbelievably an even worse experience…
Unbelievably an even worse experience with IBAS than with the betting companies themselves.
Taken the best part of a year for absolutely nothing to have happened apart from a few inconclusive meetings, and every single "deadline" has just been missed. Given that IBAS are funded by the betting companies, you get to see why they behave the way they do.
James Ironside is one of the worst individuals I've ever seen represent a professional company and IBAS should feel ashamed of his manner and attitude.
Honestly, this isn't a disgruntled angry gambler that has lost money, this is a genuine review about one of the pettiest "professional" individuals I've unfortunately ever had to deal with

I stand by my comments on the attitude, but transparency is that they recovered all money. It took well over a year, however they did side with me, and within 24 hours of their ruling I was refunded in full.

I had several disputes with Betfair regarding bets they would not settle correctly. IBAS were very professional from start to finish, I was paid in full, couldn’t be more pleased.

My case was handled by James Ironside at IBAS. I had a bet on a 5/1 favourite in a horse race. There were some longshot non runners so I expected a small rule 4 deduction but Bettarget (a brand run by Aspire Global) deducted over 80p in the pound. After three months of getting nowhere with a complaint to Bettarget, I made a complaint with IBAS. When Mr Ironside got involved, Bettarget admitted that they did not know how to process rule 4 deductions and they refunded my money. I would highly recommend IBAS to anyone else who is having problems with an incompetent bookmaker. Their service was friendly and, importantly, very effective.
