I had to jump through hoops
I had to jump through a few hoops to get my new customer discount code applied.Even then I only manage to get 10% when email said 20%
Apparently if product you are ordering is already discounted code will not work,no mention of this within the first order code I received.

I have been going back and forth with these guys for over 2yrs over my refund, I still haven't seen a cent paid back.
Long story short, order over $70 worth of stuff, which included 2 shampoo bottles and cream tub, the parcel arrived soaked, one broken shampoo bottle that had completely drained out, the other bottle and tub cracked and leaking. Sent photos and videos and they offered to resend the items that were damaged(everything in the order pretty much). The second batch arrived in same condition, they didn't bother to wrap a single item in bubble wrapping, just sent bottles free-floating in a bix from UK to NZ. They offered to refund the second time but it never happened. Kept saying today tomorrow, the team is busy, blah blah, 2yrs on, have loads of chat scripts from them but not a single penny paid back.
Soon realised the Hut Group behind this are giant scams full of fake promises and zero customer service. If things go well, great! If your parcel goes missing, or damaged, or wrong item, they're a nightmare to deal with. Have reported them to british fraud and scam dept.
Update - Oct 2023 - have not heard back from them since their response to this review, SCAMMERS!

Delivery was quick and efficient however an item I received (which I have brought numerous times) seemed to be different packaging, smell and feel. I contacted hq hair and sent them all the relevant details on the 6th July. I contacted them again on the 18th july as I had no reply. They told me to provide the relevant details so I sent those over again and was told to wait 72 hours. I waited over this time and again had to contact them myself, only to be told that had to wait longer. Once I expressed my concerns that I wasn’t happy with waiting any longer they told me I need to provide the relevant information (which I have TWICE). No way of speaking to a person over the phone and no way of speaking to higher management. I’ll be taking this further with the hut group directly.

I have since spoken with Stephen from Customer Relations who has been excellent with dealing with my complaint. He contacted me directly and ensured my issue was dealt with immediately and professionally. This has completely changed my opinion on hqhair and I would be more than happy to retry their services.

No Customer Service to reach out to!!!
We ordered July 7, 2023. Until now, it's still 'In Processing' and there has bee no update from the store. No customer service to talk to for refund as well!! So frustrating!!!!

I find the website easy to locate what I am looking for. The secure payment process is easy. When ordering outside of my country I feel a greater risk on my side is taken. My first order was acknowledged immediately, processed efficiently, arrived promptly (faster than if within my own country!), and it was exactly what I wanted. I have now placed my 3rd order and I do so with confidence and anticipation of its prompt and accurate arrival, and at a highly competitive price!

It was very disappointing to find that the special code was refused on the order page.
