Homes for Heroes is the nation’s largest hero savings program, built on a simple mission: to give back to the people who give so much to our communities every day. Since 2009, we’ve helped serve more than 85,000 heroes (firefighters, law enforcement, military members, healthcare professionals, and teachers) while giving back over $200 million in Hero Rewards through home buying, selling, and refinancing. Our impact extends beyond the heroes we serve. We also help real estate and mortgage professionals build meaningful, purpose-driven businesses. By joining Homes for Heroes, affiliates have the opportunity to grow their business while making a real difference, connecting with local heroes, strengthening their communities, and creating lasting relationships rooted in service and trust. Through the Homes for Heroes Foundation, we’re able to give back in even more meaningful ways. The Foundation provides grants to heroes facing unexpected hardships, helping with critical needs like housing, medical care, and essential living expenses. It’s another way we honor the people who serve, especially when they need support the most. At Homes for Heroes, we believe doing good and doing business go hand in hand. Every home closing is a chance to give back, support those who serve, and create stronger communities for everyone.

It was a great experience to have the opportunity for Homes for Heroes to help me and my family process in get ready for a new house. They went above and beyond to make sure I got everything that I needed in this process in receiving a check, and with the extra money we were able to buy other stuff for our New House. They kept in touch and made sure that everything was good even after we received the check and bought the home. I would recommend Homes for Heroes when purchasing your new home.

Amazing program!
Amazing program and a truly seamless home-buying experience! I had the absolute pleasure of working with the best team: Sabrina (my lender) and Jessica (my real estate agent). Both went above and beyond, answering every single question I had—day or night. Behind the scenes, they coordinated flawlessly to keep the entire process on track. Even after the paperwork was done, Jessica continued to support me with invaluable local resources and recommendations. As I prepare to retire from the military, this program and their combined extra support alleviated so much stress and made buying my home possible!

Our experience as first time home…
Our experience as first time home buyers went great through Home for Heroes. The program made it seamless and less stressful for us with their recommended lender and realtor for our location. Laurie Knott, our real estate agent, was helpful throughout the whole process. She ensured that we were informed before we jump into any big decisions, and she provided us with guidance throughout, both as a realtor and a home owner. She was also helpful with her recommendations for people we can use throughout the home buying process. Laurie is also very good at staying in contact with us if we ever had any questions and keeping us updated with any changes. Overall, the experience we had exceeded our expectations and we would recommend the program to other heroes.
