We are always glad when Laura is on duty at Romford Essex Homebase. She is so helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Ordered and it was ready in less than an hour

Good service

Shop was dim and oppressive signage was poor and misleading. And staff were as helpful as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. A poor advert for homebase.

Ordering was easy but my payment was frustrating as the system refused payment 3 times I had to use. GPAY with the same card registered as I tried to pay with.and it went through first time. Pick
up was very easy and the member of staff who helped was great

I bought hexagon shelf which were priced up at £15 and I bought 2. However I can see if I bought it online and put code:SHELF20 I would have saved 20%. Surely the staff would know this? And why biscuits it just online? I know its only a saving of £3 but in terms of customer service it would have been nice to have been given the options....?

Homebase Romford have wonderful customer service, friendly and helpful staff that go above and beyond. This store is always my first choice for all things homeware, paint, gardening etc., based on the service I always receive.

Having to pay to park added £5.00 to my order. Thanks for that ☹️. I don’t think I will shopping here again

So the Romford store layout is not so good - the main checkouts are near the entrance / exit doors along with customer service desk which also is a main checkout, that’s not a problem - however - Click and collect orders are stored for customer collection at the back corner of the store - but there is no obvious signage or direction on entering g the store. I had to queue at the checkout to enquire on my C&C order and was then directed to the back of store to collect . The staff were all very helpful and courteous but it does seem strange to collect items at the back of the store and then walk out through the checkout area -I’m sure a smoother system could easily be set up so customers who just need C&C can be dealt with speedily - eg - a sign that says for C&C orders please show text order info to customer desk - can’t a receipt be placed on item (s) at the point of collection or something so store staff know it’s paid for - who’s to know I’ve not stolen them?

I had just been to B&Q and there was no help at all from the 2 different members of staff that I could find there. I decided to take a trip to homebase and what a difference. Thankyou all for your help especially Laura who could see myself and husband were struggling and approached us to ask if we needed help. We got exactly what we needed THANKYOU. Lizzie

First costumer in on a dull Sunday morning but was met with smiles and humour. Kevin found the paint colour I needed to patch an area after work being done. It was a colour made up eight years ago! Nothing was too much trouble and we left with smiles too.

Did click and collect today, was sent a text telling me my order was ready after only 10 minutes, the two ladies that assisted me we're polite and the overall expirence was brilliant, I was out the store with my order in less than 10 minutes, thank you!
