Covered my Alcantara steering wheel in dirt and oil, so they clearly don’t use covers to protect peoples interior.

Contacted them direct and head office but no response!

Will never use again or recommend to anyone.

UPDATE: nearly 2 months later and still no response or explanation! DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

AVOID!!!!

All the work required was carried out as quickly as possible to get my vehicle through its MOT. There were a few minor delays, due to parts suppliers, but I was kept up to date with progress. The car now feels brand new on the road and of course it has the all important MOT.

Took my car in for an MOT, with in 2 hours it was all done. Such friendly staff and very polite, would highly recommend

I wanted a specific van which had the right mileage etc so I traveled to London to pick it up after a long search.It came with an RAC warranty
Yeh right I thought.4 months later I had a groan and an oil leak.I searched for an RAC approved garage and had to travel to find them.They diagnosed a rocker cover gasket leak and a steering linkage issue.They contacted RAC and went back and forth on my behalf finally agreeing for the warranty to cover the work
They kept me informed all the time and explained I’d have to pay for diagnostics
There are at least 15 garages that I pass to get here however I’ll be using them again

I have used them twice now once to change tyres and break pads this time, the service was excellent and quick whilst I waited. The price was reasonable as compare to other garages around in York

I had a DSG gearbox failure and it was solved well and advantageously for the price. I recommend this garage with confidence.

Had the car booked in yesterday, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had good knowledge of the issues with the car.

Unreliable and rude staff. Had to wait an hour for a tire technician to arrive (booked an appointment for 8.30am due to other commitments!). Staff could not care less, won’t be returning. Please work on your customer service

Broke down locally with severe suspension problems. Recommended HiQ York by the AA. Vehicle seen instantly, with issues diagnosed within 30 mins. Parts delivered quickly and repairs just as quick. I couldn’t be anymore happier with the service and quickness of this garage.

I booked my car in for a service and was told it would take 90 minutes.
After walking around I returned after 2.5 hours to be told it was still being looked at.
I sat and waited for a further 2 hours in the small waiting area that they have. The bins were overflowing, the table was covered in dust, the Tomato soup from the free vending machine dispensed "dish water".
When the service was completed after 4.5 hours the person at reception has "disappeared" into a meeting - resulting in another wait to pay.

Was helped by Chris, very fast service will definitely come back again for my car servicing etc.

Friendly staff, and very efficient. Only problem is there is very little space outside the garage to park. Not the staffs fault though

Thank you so much for your excellent performance, my car was misdiagnosed at my local garage with a clogged DPF, luckily I came to Gladstone garage where my car was correctly diagnosed with what turned out to be the cooling fan for the radiator, which was replaced with a new one at a very reasonable cost, I cant recommend them highly enough.
