We had a lovely stay at one of Veronica’s properties. The house was comfortable, spacious, and in a great location for both Newcastle and nearby market towns. Everything was clean and well presented, and the beds and shower were excellent. Veronica was a fantastic host — friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. We would happily book with her again.

Beautiful listings coupled with great prices. Tried them on one occasion and the customer service was excellent and responsive. Great Overall.

This booking agency is unprofessional and consider your deposit their funds and deduct as they deem fit. The rules of a deposit is a breakage deposit but they think it's a piggy bank.

They state that the booking conditions reflect that there is a charge for locking yourself out but this must be a ghost agreement as there is no such statement on booking.com.

Long story short; they ask for a 300£ “deposit” (which is actually a FULL payment, so say goodbye of 300£ for the rest of your trip) only for a 260£ stay of 3 nights. Then they just say: “oh sorry we are keeping the deposit” WITH NO EXPLANATION, evidence or proof of misuse. After that they just IGNORE our messages asking for explanation and proofs. I demand to talk to someone and fix this.

EDIT (after your answer): We stand our point. A crack in a hob is not inherently OUR FAULT. We did nothing but use the hob NORMALLY. This is not our responsibility and STILL you have to provide PROOF. Which of course, you haven't done, so yes, it is the case, if you want to keep someone's money you have to prove fault or misuse. Or at least answer our messages in the booking platform that you are claiming, but continue to ignore us since our checkout. And yes, of course we are dealing with it directly through booking.com

People, just don’t let your vacation cost double and AVOID a 300£ deposit for a two nights stay, it’s ridiculous.

EDIT: After a long fight, they said they would "show me the documents" if I commit to paying the full price of the. Like...how can I commit to pay something I haven't seen proof of?! Just hilarious.

Lovely flat in Mayfair. Location was amazing! Host was very good at communicating and checking in/out was super easy. Will visit again.

This was an amazing stay. The property was exactly what me and my friends needed for the weekend. So accessible to the city! Lots to do! We went ghost hunting at Stirling jail. It was a 5min walk just up the road. Parkrun was just a 10min drive up the road to the uni. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs right on the doorstep. Although the parking outside the flat is permit holders only, there are loads of places to park nearby that weren’t expensive. I used rainbow slides parking which was only a 5-10min walk down the hill and cost £3.25 for 24hrs. The property itself was absolutely spotless upon arrival, the place smelled like fresh laundry. Veronica supplied everything we could’ve possibly needed. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, washing detergent, toiletries, towels, lovely biscuits. 10/10 stay. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the cottage in West Finchley. It was warm with comfortable beds and useful on drive parking. Very close to underground stations and buses. Plenty of towels and bedding. A good find.

From the start of our 2 night stay we had problems. TV did not work and no instruction. Had to use my Amazon account in the end but what if you don't have an Amazon account? I was also told to contact maintenance myself! Shocking customer service!

Souless and depressing flat listed as cosy 1 bed! Not cosy at all as described. Very minimal basic beige flat.
After booking confirmed you are asked for a £300 security deposit which you are unaware off when bookiing. Bathroom needs a paint and tidying up.
NO HOT WATER!!! This has been reported on nearly every review and still not sorted.
One pot for toothbrushes was gross with gunge at bottom - did not use and moved it.
Poor response time from agents (if any!) Still no response to severe immersion heater noise all day and night.
No book to advise on tv use etc. Easy guide for water, heating, tv.
No welcome pack.

Immersion heater a nightmare and went off 3 times during the night waking us each time. Hardly any sleep in 2 days. Agents said they have never had problems with heating...lies, check reviews!
You can't shut bedroom door as bed blocks it.
Seating very uncomfortable - chairs too rigid. Needs a small two seater settee.
I could go on and on.
I have now asked for a full refund and am being ghosted by Helloguest so it looks like the legal route beckons.
If you are an owner, please please DO NOT use Helloguest - they are the worst company ever.

Just back from a lovely couple of days at Maple Lodge. Perfect for my wife and I and our two dogs. It was lovely and clean and the prosecco was a really nice touch - thank you! The courtyard was perfect to allow the dogs out and keep them contained. There were a couple of great pubs within a mile or so (The Pleasure Boat and The Greyhound). We walked to The Greyhound (1.5 mile) and had an excellent Sunday roast - highly recommend as is this lovely little home. Thank you Veronica 😊

I recently stayed with my wife at Bright Seaside Apartment with Stunning River Views, Nov 13 – 17.

All instructions and comfort were of the highest standard. Clean wonderful comfortable quiet place with brilliant views and location for traveling on public or private transport.
If you are reading this and wanting the perfect stay with great Acces, safety and comfort, do yourselves a favor and book here with the perfect hosts.

The apartment I stayed in was beautiful and exactly as described. I stayed with four people and we all really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the station which made it very easy to get into London. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering it.

We stayed at the house in eastborne it was a really nice time. It was a 3 bed house, nice time and there was plenty common area space to spend time. The house was spotless and the instructions to check in was very clear and easy.
There Liverpool is also good to access the city and go to nearby places.

2nd time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The cottage is lovely with everything you need. Very cosy and it’s in such a lovely village. Will definitely be back again. Thanks 🤩

I had a lovely stay in Whitstable at Pilgrims Lookout. The flat was very close to the Castle, where there was an event being held so I needed to be close. The flat was comfortable and well-equipped.
