Very straightforward website for an online order and no necessary interference with advertising other products. Much appreciated.

I contacted Heal’s with an enquiry about a table I bought from them, just over 10yrs ago. I wasn’t very hopeful that they could do anything to help, but Alia contacted me today with a positive update. I’m very impressed with Heal’s and the professional Customer Service I have received.

We bought an expensive table from Heals (Tara Artisan, around £3,800). A maintenance kit was delivered with it. We followed the instructions in the kit and online video and ended up with an oily mess on the table top.

We complained to Heal's and this is how the saga began.

Here are some highlights over the last 2 months:

- Heals sends a third-party technician to look at the issue. The guy who rocks up has no idea what he has been called out to do and thinks he is oiling the table in situ. He writes a report for Heals.
- Heals reaches out to the manufacturer and we wait for a month to hear back.
- The manufacturer takes no responsibility, sticks to the instructions in the kit and the misleading video of how to oil the table, and offers to send a new maintenance kit.
- A Heals customer advisor ignores our concerns and questions and states they are certain a new visit by the technician will resolve the matter. Wow.
- We go on holiday.
- The same Heals customer advisor sends a glass bottle of flammable oil (!) in a poorly sealed packaging while we are away without any notice. Surprise, surprise - the bottle breaks and the oil leaks onto our neighbours table because the parcel has been delivered to them in our absence.
- I email Heals to complain about this and send photos. The Heals customer advisor ignores the facts in my message and asks me to confirm that I want the technician to come.
- I ring up Heals very upset, make a formal complaint and am told a manager would ring me up the next working day.
- Nothing happens so I leave this review.
- My husband rings up Heals to complain and mentions this review.
- A manager speaks to us and promises to send a senior technician out. I will update this review accordingly.

I am appalled by the fact that I am being made to feel like an idiot for spending a lot of money on a table.

I am disgusted by the fact that their after-care team think it is acceptable to treat customers like this.

I will never buy from Heals again. The customer service is dreadful.

Quality products from a reputable company

We visited Heal's at Red Brick Mill in Batley. From the first second we entered we were looked after. All our questions were answered on the day, more importantly over the coming week or so our many, many questions by email were answered completely and efficiently. A huge thank you to Claire, Rachael & Sam for all their advice and help. Cant wait for the items to be delivered. Couldn't recommend them enough.

We ordered a sofa from the London store. At the time of purchase, we informed the sales team that we did not yet have access to the property to confirm measurements.
Unfortunately, the sofa couldn't be delivered as it did not fit. We have since learned that it is possible to order the sofa with removable arms, but this must be specified at the time of purchase. Despite our clearly stated uncertainty regarding property access, the salesperson never informed us of this option at the time of purchase.
I do believe this was a shared oversight. I previously suggested splitting the 25% return fee, but Heal's has refused to acknowledge any responsibility and has retained the full 25% of the order value.

My second purchase from HEALS at Redbrick - Supa products and quality coupled with brilliant service, thank you for all your help Darren, you make the process a pleasure!!!

Wow, what a fantastic shopping experience at Heals in Redbrick Mills. Darren was superb....very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. He has probably moved more chairs around the floor in our 3 visits than he has done in a while as we considered, and reconsidered, what chairs to pair with what dining table. He made the whole process an enjoyable experience without any hard sales or pressure tactics...what a gent. The result, 8 dining chairs and a table ordered. Thank you Darren for everything....we will definitely be back when we need further furniture or home accessories.

Me and my wife went shopping at Redbrick Mill in Batley where Heals have a huge store that is beautifully layed out.

After a day of shopping and picking items for our home we were lucky enough to bump in to Darren P who has made our shopping experience incredibly easy.

We picked our items and kept in touch sent a list to Darren and he took care of the rest. Great experience and we will be using Darren going forwards for all of our furniture needs from Heals.

I would like to thank Antonis for his fantastic customer service when in the store on Tottenham Court Rd on Saturday.

Having just transacted with Heal's for the first time I can only say that my experience thus far has been first rate. Their commitment to providing a level of customer service with is both personable and comprehensive is to be applauded, in a world where the upholding of such values is becoming increasingly rare. I'd like to particularly call out Darren Passmore at the Redbrick MIll store for his dedication to providing the very best customer experience - thank you!

I have amended my review up as my parcel arrived quickly, and my low review before was because a website error prevented me from ordering in to store. But when I mentioned that in my review here, Heal’s replied advising I reach out to customer services, and when I did they promptly refunded me the delivery fee, so that was a good customer service experience.
