I recently bought three white shirts from Harvie & Hudson shirts, switching from a contemporary competitor:
Positives:
Great quality material used and feels really good
Button band is a good width
Buttons feel really nice
Slim fit provides slightly more room around the midriff, and not too tight
Easy to wash / iron
Less Positives (initial impression):
Sleeve sizes are considerably wider than the competitor, even with slim fit. It seemed like there was a lot of material to contend with, particularly when trying them on for size before washing / ironing for first time.
I wore one of the shirts for the first time a few days ago, but didn't have a problem with the sleeves.
Overall, some really nice high quality shirts.

We are really pleased to hear that you are enjoying the quality of the fabric, the feel of the buttons, the button band, and the slightly more comfortable shape through the body. It is also great to know the shirts have been easy to wash and iron.
We do appreciate your comments regarding the sleeve width. Our slim fit shirts are designed to offer a tailored shape while still allowing enough room for comfortable movement, so they may feel a little fuller in the sleeve compared with some more contemporary-cut brands. That said, your feedback is very helpful, and we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to review our fits and customer preferences.
We are glad to hear the shirt wore well when you tried it properly, and we hope you continue to enjoy them.
Linen jacket failed at the pocket after…
Linen jacket failed at the pocket after two weeks. Replaced with no quibble. Ok so far. Second jacket failed in exactly the same place after two weeks! A coincidence? Now losing faith in the brand.

We are very sorry to hear that this has happened, especially after the original jacket had already been replaced. We completely understand why this would cause you to lose confidence, and this is not the standard we expect from our products.
We have raised this with our manufacturers and will be keeping a much closer eye on stitching and pocket construction going forward to help prevent this from happening again.

A first class experience with such professional, friendly and helpful people. I’ve used Harvie and Hudson for many years now, mainly for shirt s and accessories. This year I decided on a made to measure three piece suit. I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough. Attention to detail aligned with patience allowed me the time to make a decision i was happy with while having no pressure put on me at all. I just felt that Harvie and Hudson were totally focused on me getting exactly what i wanted. If you’re in London and you need first class clothing with great service go to Harvie and Hudson.

What a brilliant shop Harvie & Hudson is!
What a brilliant shop this is. I have the whole collection of shirts from Harvie & Hudson but this is my first suit from them and I love it. Incredibly good fit for something off the peg. High quality fabric and great tailoring. Everyone at the shop so helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about their job. Small alteration was done in a day. I will not look for my next suit elsewhere.

Perfect service, advice and quality products

Silk scarf
I ordered a silk scarf from the website and the item was delivered quickly.
I would have given 5 stars but I was a little embarrassed when the recipient open the packaging. The scarf was a gift for my partner to finish off his evening suit. When I received it, it was beautifully wrapped in H&H tissue paper so I didn't open it. I just placed it into a gift bag and presented it to him. He was really pleased with the item but pointed out that I "had left the price tag attached."
So, if there is anything H&H could do to improve, it would be to remove any price tags from items that are ordered online.
Other than that, as I said, my partner was very pleased with the gift and he is a very fussy person, haha.
