Excellent service
I recently took delivery of a new garden dining set and I am thrilled with it. There was a slight problem at delivery and Harts customer service was exceptional - prompt, understanding, friendly and ultimately all resolved simply and without a fuss.
The furniture is lovely, the company are great and I highly recommend them.

I placed an order for the Mesa XL on the Thursday.
I was expecting to wait at least a couple of days before delivery, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive the item the very next day.

Absolutely great customer service
Absolutely great customer service, I had lots of delays in the building of our patio and harts were very accommodating. I called them to rearrange delivery dates and it was easy. There was no long wait on the phones. When patio finally got finished and the furniture arrived it looked amazing. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend the heritage range from harts. The dining set us beautiful and chairs are super comfortable

Woeful Customer Service- Just hope nothing goes wrong

After taking delivery in early August I put the parasol up. Usually what goes up must come down. Well it didn't. Despite lots of winding (both ways) the parasol would not come down.
I have contacted Customer Services, several times. I did ask that a complaint is registered/ escalated and matter escalated. Representative told me there is no point as she handles complaints too. (clearly judge and jury).
Her unhelpful answer is to take videos of the faulty parasol in operation. I replied that I live on my own and this would prove difficult. Also, if parasol goes up it will probably, stubbornly remain up and be damaged further on next windy day.
I find the whole response truly disappointing, inflexible, uncaring and inadequate, especially given I spent £1000 with this company. Why not do the right thing- apologise for inconvenience & replace faulty goods?

Hi Chris, I understand your frustration. We need evidence of the fault to ensure any replacement does not have the same issue. A video can easily be taken with one hand while you try to open and close the parasol with the other. This would only take a minute. With any issues it is important we resolve issues quickly. We often ask for photos and videos from customers, and we don't normally have an issue with this. A replacement could be with you next working day once the video has been received. I can see you like to leave companies negative reviews. I understand you are the customer and we do understand your frustration, but please try to understand there are procedures in place to resolving issues effectively.
