The assistant I was served by, Belle was knowledgeable and very helpful. She approached me when she noticed I was looking around and was very friendly. She asked whether I needed a waterproof shoe and once I answered no she brought out the lighter mesh shoe. She checked my shoes fitted properly and brought two pairs to me. She took the time to make sure I was happy with everything and I made the purchase. Overall a very pleasant experience. A delightful member of staff.

Denise at the Ipswich branch was super helpful today and really took time to help me choose some walking boots and seamless socks for an up-and-coming trip.

Celeste was very helpful in choosing a pair of Merrill boots and Laura sorted my check out without any queuing. Excellent service.

Denise at Ipswich was extremely helpful and gave great advice on walking boots including correct sizing and type of boot. The staff were vey helpful including Roxy on the till.

Good choice of walking boots. Unfortunately my preferred choice of a Size 10 from the display was not in stock.
Staff have to be found to obtain your choice, but were very helpful once located. I was offered sizes either side but were not a comfortable fit. Found two possible alternatives on display but lower quality. However one pair was a good fit and the competitive price overcame my slight concerns and urgent replacement. Membership was a no brainer and checkout swift.
It would be helpful when looking for the stores on TrustPilot to list them alphabetically. (Ipswich - Adam, Aiesha and Matt)

It was the first time I had visited a Go Outdoors store and was impressed with the choice of items available to suit all budgets. I purchased some walking shoes and the sale assistants Denise and Nicole were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely visit again.

I was looking for a comfortable pair of walking shoes and I was fortunate to be served by Denise who was so helpful in advising me which ones to choose as I have an arthritic toe joint, she was very knowledgeable about the various choices.

I received excellent service from Isabelle. She explained clearly the pros and cons of the walking boots I was looking at while letting me decide the best pair for my needs. She was attentive, polite and helpful. Very happy.

It’s a big bright store. Well spaced out with clearly marked sections.
Staff are generally chatty and helpful with anything you ask about. Otherwise they leave you to browse.

TBH i was not impressed with the build of my new bike i collect last Thursday (23/04/2026) I had to go over and check everything to the point I should have just built it myself. For a bike thats supposed to have been built ready to ride....it would have been a death trap, and potential damage to the bike. To list some of things I found, both bolts loose on front brake caliper, the caliper was moving freely. Dropper post poorly fitted, far too much cable allowed for. Storage frame bolts loose, on the verge of falling out had I done any riding. On a £2200 bike I was not impressed, would I take it back for 6 week safety check......i dont think so. When working on any bike they should have their work checked and double checked as it could have caused an accident or damaged the bike.

Struggling with a health condition but still wanting be active, I found it really hard to find comfortable walking shoes. Having been unsuccessful on line, decided to seek help in store. Staff were amazing & very knowledgeable. Made such a difference. So helpful. Big shout out to Dani & Matt especially.
