Excellent customer service from Steven
Excellent customer service from Steven. The only paddle board left in store was fully inflated, but he went out of his way to get it down and deflate it for us. He couldn’t have been more helpful. A real credit to the team.

Good customer service
My son and I spent ages trying on multiple pairs of walking boots and were served very patiently by Vic who had to make lots trips into the storeroom! She gave helpful advice on the differences between styles and brands of boots. Thank you Vic.

Returned a damaged item to the store
Returned a damaged item to the store on Saturday morning. Really helpful staff in getting me a replacement item and finding my account when I had left my Go Outdoors card at home. Emily was particularly helpful.

Very helpful person in the shoe department recommended Salomon for slim feet, which I'd forgotten. Ordered the correct size online, speedy despatch and delivery and very happy with them!

The assistant on the till was so rude…
The assistant on the till was so rude and unhelpful. We found her attitude to us so appalling. Absolutely disgusted with her attitude, we smiled and were friendly. Customer service training is definitely needed!!

Knowledgeable, patient service
I spent about 45 minutes at the store trying on hiking boots, assisted by Ben, before leaving to have a think. I returned 2 days later and Ben helped me again, this time culminating in a purchase which I'm very happy with so far. Thanks for the knowledgeable, patient service.

Katie was brilliant
Katie was brilliant. I had bought a Eurohike tent and the elastic that threads through one of the poles had broken. She helped to get the poles in the correct order and also threaded the elastic through. (Not a quick job) Katie went above and beyond, she was really helpful.
