Goldmoney was very clear about the documents they needed to verify me and my residency; once I provided them, the review was very quick.

My account has been locked for 2 years now because of thier picky verification requirments. I have sent them my driver's license, my utility bill, my tax bill and insurance documents; but because of slight discrepancies between the documents names and addresses they refuse me access to my assets.

At several occasions I was in contact with the Goldmoney Relationship Manager. Swift and clear communication, every time, meeting expectations in all cases. Also the banking team managed to provide detailed information from historical transactions dating more than 15 years ago. Information I was unable to retrieve from my own bank. Honestly I was impressed.

Great support from the GM team - Nikita was excellent to reactivate my account while respecting compliance rules in place. Everything went very smoothly and appreciate prompt responses along the whole process. Thank you for that !

Overall I am very happy with the service provided by Goldmoney. The team is very helpful and easy to deal with. I like the fact that they put a lot of importance on compliance. My only comment is about the UI of the platform, I wish it was more user friendly.

This company has very dubious practices. I sent £500 (yes a small sum) to Goldmoney back in 2016 when gold stood at about £850 per oz. When I went to extract it a month ago I ended up receiving the princely sum of approx £260.00. Yes, you read that right. Even after gold had trebled to £2550 per oz over the past 9 years, these charming crooks managed to give me back less than I put in! Think about that..

Goldmoney refused to close my account and transfer the funds back to the same bank account. There were increasingly personal questions about history which was not required to open the account.

I closed Bullionvault with no problems. I recommend small holders use them and not Goldmoney. Do some research and it will become obvious.

I hold $6m plus in gold/silver in Zurich.

I've been a Goldmoney client for more than 10 years and I've never had any issue with them. I just wished I bought some Bitcoin when they were offering that product before. I also wish they had Palladium metal so I can buy more especially now (September 2025) that Palladium has bottom & is likely to go up in the next year or so.

They are charging 6% of the weight (or value) to transfer to another location. To cash-out the gold they are charging 3.3% below spot and for silver it's 4.3% below spot! Plus bank wire fees!

This should be illegal. They are severely punishing me for trying to get MY own metal back.

They're not all transparent up front. Be careful hidden fees :
1. I bought silver with them BUT it's not automatically placed under my name on the storage, you can put it under your name for another fee. this is never mentioned in the website. website promoting storage under your name.
2. 5% sell price from spot that never being mentioned. it is very expensive compare to other dealer less than 3%.
3. the sell price that ultimately given is not same day rate, but 2 days later. it can be plus or minus, but I prefer company that honor sell price at the time we submit the sell order. other dealer honor the sell price at the time we submit sell order.

There are other company that give you better service than this. I exit this company and move to another one better.
