Golden Sands Holiday Park, Rhyl Recenzje 

Very pleasant holiday entertainment was really good.

Stopped on a few camps in the area. but prefer this one for its facilities nice food/swimming pool good entertainment.The staff are always helpfull and pleasant. I think the chip shop is missing a trick by not stopping open after the entertainment has finished if you want something to eat after you have been out you have to order a takeaway or leave the camp. Will be going again and would recommend it.

Terrible weather , only half the amusement arcade open, soft play area closed very overpriced at £417 for 3 nights, but still enjoyed x all of the staff we had contact With were lovely X

I was very disappointed that the soft playarea was closed as I brought my 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 21 months. It was a major factor when I booked as February is a cold and wet month.
Also the shop on site was closed which was inconvenient for us as we did not drive .
I was notified about a week before we arrived at your park but it was to late to change our plans and dates as we had booked and paid for our coach seats and it was also my grandsons half term off school. Myself and my daughter had booked time off work which we could not change so we had to come on the dates we had booked.

When we first arrived staff was very friendly and helpful, once we had the keys to our van we went in explored, which to say it was a silver it was very very basic hardly anything in there. Whilst unpacking the car I started focussing on there was a wet patch on the base of the sofa and the cushion wasn’t on there. I put my hand on it and it was wet, at first I thought maybe the cleaner had spilt something on there but I was wrong. I could smell urine and we carried on unpacking, I went and smelled the wet patch and the soaked cushion, it was soaked from urine. We called up and they moved us to a gold caravan. Which was a lovely little unit. The following day on the Tuesday we went out exploring to come back and find the site flooded, we got back to the van there was no Gas or electric by this time it was 16:15 I rang up reception for them to say yes everyone need to clear out by 17:00 as they was closing the gates at 5 due to flood warnings. If I did not ring up I would not of known this. They didn’t bother to apologise, didn’t bother to tell us we had to leave no email, text, note on the caravan etc. They didn’t give any recommendations for where we could go as we are nearly 5 hours from home and to travel home with a 2 yr old. When I asked what is gunna happen about the rest of the holiday she said she doesn’t know. Not very helpful. To then fork out quite a lot of money to stay somewhere as it was only the beginning of our holiday. The storm was not there fault but there communication could of been a lot better.

Lovely park with great facilities and helpful, friendly staff. We’ve stayed here three times. Only thing it needs is recycling facilities

We recently came here for our third time and absolutely loved it, If you enjoy caravan holidays or looking to go for the first time look no further this place is amazing and fantastic for the kids my two boys love it. The place is obviously very well run and is spotless, the food and drinks in the sandpiper is really nice and reasonably priced but the best thing about golden sands is the goldstars and what stars they are too they are just unbelievable with all the kids and work tirelessly to make sure the kids have the best time ever honestly visit goldensands and see for yourself you will struggle to find a better caravan park, top notch!! Already booked for next year 🙌🙌

Average that's all I can say wouldn't go again

I booked a caravan for my wife and daughter with the grandkids in August of this year which I was told this will be the van you will get,
My wife and daughter turned up with the kids on Monday to be told someone else was in the van we booked and we will try to sort something out for you,
No one from golden sands had the decency to email me to tell me about the changes and the van that they gave to them was no up to standard for a disabled person.
The toilet door would not close and when my daughter told the reception she was told we will have a look but has you will be going home in a couple of days I don't think we can do anything about it.
When I booked out today I did say something to the desk and the reply I got was we do not guarantee a van so can someone answer me this when you book a caravan on this site and they give you a number is that not booked a caravan according to the site they can change it any time they want to and if you book a van on this site and they give you a number dont believe them,

Had the most amazing weekend. Entertainment was brilliant Entertainers where so good especially Chloe she she had the edge. Caravans clean warm and plenty of space. Looking forward to our next visit all being well.

It would of been nice to get a phone call back what was promised when I rang to say I’d found it cheaper on the internet. I feel the customer service needs a bit of updating it’s as if you have paid in full we are not bothered. All it would of took was a phone call but that didn’t happen which annoyed me. Look on line first rather than phoning to book you can save money as once you have paid they don’t care.

Clean and tidy with very comfy caravan. Parts of park seem overcrowded with caravans. Nice beach with easy access. Amenities good for time of year, but all facilities seem to be concentrated in one area, entrance to park off main road with not a very pleasant entrance to site as narrow with cars getting passed. Staff friendly and helpful. Not bad for a short break.

Fab ten birth caravan, clean and right on the beech.

this is the fourth tíme at golden sands and each time we have really loved it there. the caravans are really nice and tidy and the site is kept lovely. the shop is a bit of a let down as it closes early and is not very well stocked. the fish shop is good though. i would recomend this site to anyone and it is really close to the beach.might go again next year .

Very good site for holidays, use it every year. Great caravans, very helpful and polite staff, great value for money, carnt speak highly enough.

we met friends on hol and was talking quietly in park at nite and we got moved by security two nights on hol. I wasnt happy as holiday is about enjoying yourself and wasnt happy about being rushed out off club with plastic cup to put your drink in not happy with that either

Enjoyed alovely Monday to Friday lovely caravan Entertainment was very good only little disapointment was the times of opening of shop and early closing of chippy which was great quality & value altogether a good first time visit but as they say"We'll be Back next year W. Baker

Great holiday park, been tqice in the last 3 months and bith times it has been great. Chippy could do with staying open later as its usually closed by around 8pm. Very clean park, all staff have been great and very polite. Staff in particular tyler, rosie, chloe and rachel. Theres was one member of the entertainment staff that seems like she doesnt want to be there (naomi), makes zero effort with the children unlike all the other staff and always has a face on her, never cracks a smile, other then that one so called entertainer all staff are amazing. First time my husband and I had stayed, and booked on recommendation. We couldn’t have made a better choice. My husband lives with mixed dementia, and the adapted caravan was perfect for his needs. Nothing was too much trouble for the site staff, and the site itself was beautifully laid out. Clean, tidy and well maintained. We met some very kind, helpful and friendly people. All in all, a refreshing break.
