Glow up Studios Recenzje 

So on Friday 26th June I went to Glow Up Studio in Manchester for my first ever boudoir photoshoot. In the days leading up to this my anxiety took over and I kept telling my partner I didn't want to do it cause im so self conscious of my body (i have recently lost 3.5st but my skin didnt bounce back as quick). He kept telling me to just get there and see how I feel once in there and I agreed. However upon arrival my anxiety went through the roof and I won't lie I had a bit of a breakdown with it all amd came very close to walking out. Mandy came and spoke with me and informed me that I was actually the winner for June which meant that I got the full experience which also included all my photos. I was still unsure whether I actually wanted to go through with it but Mandy was so amazing, kind, and just had such a great vibe, she had me smiling within just a few minutes of speaking. She then took me on a little tour of the studio and before I knew it I was in the chair getting my hair and makeup done with the most delicious glass of wine (which really helped with the nerves). My photographer made me feel so comfortable and confident during the shoot itself. She knew exactly what poses to put me in and I had so much fun doing it, at no point feeling silly or weird or anything like that. After the shoot was done Mandy came and spoke to me and my partner again while we waited for editing to be done before we went to the viewing room and we had such a good laugh. I was really worried about how the photos would come out because I am really self critical and notice every flaw, but when I say I was amazed at how great the photos came out I mean I was truly amazed. The confidence I had when viewing was unbelievable and days later I still feel just as confident. My partner even said about going back for a couples photoshoot cause of how great the photos and just whole experience was. Im really looking forward to going back to Glow Up Studio Manchester, and working with Mandy and the team again. Thank you so much guys for giving me back my confidence. You have no idea what it means to me x

I woke up and was so nervous about the whole day I was thinking of ways to get out of it but all I can say is that I am so glad I did it!! What an amazing and empowering experience, from the moment I walked in I was made to feel at ease with the make up artist not only making me feel amazing but totally comfortable. Everyone was amazing and so complimentary they make you feel comfortable and really do make the experience amazing. Would highly recommend!!

I was made to feel comfortable once I got in and the hair and makeup lady was absolutely lovely! My photographer was also great, and make me feel way less insecure and helped me pose because I didn’t know how to. One thing that bothered me was the wait times, and the receptionist staff just disappearing randomly. I waited over 2 hours to even see the photos and there were no staff around. All round lovely experience in terms of the photos, but the staffing and wait times made them seem unco-ordinated and a bit rude.

Very friendly staff! Got an an appointment right away.

Had a super fun experience with amazing images at the end. The team are very collaborative and extrely supportive highly recommend this experience ror anyone x

I had an absolutely incredible experience today, the whole team was so supportive and welcoming from begging to the very end! I had so much fun and I’m honestly honoured to be the prize winner, thank you Chantelle for giving me this opportunity to put forward to my future in the modelling industry! ♥️

Showed up and waited , lady next to me said she’d been waiting 3 hours nearly so I asked how long and they said 3-4 hours experience, hair and make up didn’t look professional on others, asked for refund and said none refund

A really fun experience. The make up / hair girls were amazing and the photographers really professional. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed and made me feel quite at home.

Everyone was very welcoming and bubbly, makeup and hair was amazing. Sue was very welcoming and helpful always asking if we need anything including drinks. Great experience and had a lovely time.

I have to say that Glow up studio are phenomenonal! They are amazing from start to finish, as a man going here, was not something I'm used to doing! But I was treated with love and care, everyone treats you as an individual and with the utmost care and respect, I HIGHLY recommend them, you won't regret it

The staff are the kindest group of women i have ever met , they are always smiling , super poilte , your biggest hype woman ever and makes you feel incredable . I would 1 million percent sign up as if you dont have much confidence you will from the first picture and i would do it all over again

Had the greatest time and experience my coordinator Mandy was amazing and made me feel at home from the second I got to the studio. I was offered Prosecco with top ups and everything. My make up artist was great and made me feel comfortable as make up isn’t something I was sure of before but it wasn’t to much it was just to enhance my features and she held incredible conversation. My photography was out of this world, she had loads of energy and directed the shoot perfectly. Well done Glow up studios

To say this was out of our comfort zone is an understatement.. however both my partner and I were made to feel at ease from the second we pulled up outside. From Mandy standing in the road to make sure we could park, to getting us settled and a drink in hand, she was amazing and friendly. The makeup artist were friendly and put us right at ease. Then the shoot itself, Asha commanded us with professionalism and poise. Her directions were great and we had no problems following instructions to create amazing pics. Then afterwards Jeanette was amazing and friendly and kept us updated as we waited to see the results, allowing us to relax and chat. Then Kaitlin helped us review our shoots and chose the ones we eventually decided on, im not sure who was more excited for the results us or Kaitlin, but her enthusiasm for the work was infectious. All in all a brilliant time was had.

Lovely studio, photographer was amazing and is really good at putting you in poses and helping out! Would recommend Glow Up studios!

I won the runner up package for a boudoir shoot and this is normally something I would never consider doing but thought seen as it was a free experience I would give it a go. Billie was really accommodating and lovely on the phone and boosted my confidence around the whole experience. Billie also said I could invite a friend with me to do the experience. However, turns out the date I had chosen my friend could not do and after speaking to my friend she shared an experience she had with a similar company where the business model is to pressure you into buying photos once you’re there under the pretence you are getting a free experience. I wasn’t sure if this was the case for glow up so I read some of the reviews and there were quite a few saying this. For this reason I changed my mind about the appointment and asked if I could cancel and receive a refund on the deposit for the appointment (£35). I was told the deposit was to secure the booking because even though the experience was free if I didn’t show they would still need to pay the staff etc for loss of earnings. I was told that once I turned up this deposit would be refunded to me. However there was never any mention that if I cancelled the appointment I would not receive the refund back- this was conveniently not communicated to me. Considering my booking was 2 months from now I find it hard to believe that they would miss out on loss of earnings or not fill that slot with someone else, but I was told they could not issue a refund unless I turned up to the appointment or rescheduled. This further solidifies to me that this company is not fully honest with their customers and that the other fears I had about the business model are probably true. I did find it quite suspicious that so many people won a competition on the reviews and wish I had listened to my gut. Please do not make the same mistake! Or at least ask the questions that I didn’t to ensure you don’t also get scammed out of £35 for something that was actually supposed to be a free experience

It was a great day out and it was all about me which was great. Staff was great, really good vibe however the “refundable” deposit was never returned to me so this Free pamper wasn’t really free. I tried ringing but I keep getting sent to voicemail safe to say I’m not getting it back.

I really enjoyed my experience, it was seamless, fun, and rewarding. I was nervous at first but everyone was so lovely. I had reference pictures and the make up and hair artist took those as inspiration but tailored the look to my features.
The photographer was really patient and put me at ease straight away. She worked with the outfits I brought to bring out the best in me during the shoot.
Overall, I’d recommend coming in for a shoot!

My experience with glow up studios was fantastic the staff were super friendly and accommodating would highly recommend using them
