Terrible quality, I forgot to post a review when I bought in first place but just found the mitt in my bathroom and remembered I needed to post! Not sure if this is still around as it has awful reviews but do not buy!

The products are extremely poor quality - not sure how they are really getting away with charging what they do for these. As other reviewers have said, I have had better drug store products for a fraction of the price!! Appalling.

Well overpriced for crap product.. you’d get better for £10 in Superdrug!

not fit for purpose

Absolutely shocked and disgusted by the quality of the Glo kit. The mitt was wearing away as I used it leaving bits of it all over my skin, so cheap and nasty. The £1 tanning mitt I have from Primark did a much better job.
On top of this, I wrote on Glo by Lydia instagram explaining I thought the product was incredibly cheap and instead of receiving a response, my comment was deleted and not acknowledged. I have since learnt that Lydia Mullen bullied a pregnant hairdresser for no reason and I just find this completely abhorrent. Do not waste your money on this product or this bullying woman.

So utterly disapointed. I thought i could trust lydias products as she claims to be all about beauty. Apart from finding her whole 'Lydia knows that when skin sings, confidence swells' cringey tagline very strange I was intrigued to try her products as I regularly faux tan. The glove is absolutely rubbish and I would rather use a £1 mitt from primark to remove my tan and found it stained my fingers despite claiming to be waterproof. the exfoloatior is also not up to par and ended up using an old flannel to get rid of the tan. Totally rubbish and would not recommend to anyone. Sasve yourself the money, don't trust this woman flogging these expensive products and get yourself down to primark to buy practically the same exact things for a FRACTION of the price. You really cant trust these influencers and especially not LEM.

As a prolific traveller I loved the idea of this kit and I decided to treat myself. I've given it a few months to review and use.

- The fake tan that came with the kit was great. I would have loved a bigger size for the price of the kit but, I have been converted to using the tan and I love the colour it gives me!
- The waterproof bag was handy for all of my face care and hair care items too.
- Everything is machine washable.
- Came in a lovely box and would have been a nice Xmas or birthday present for a young girl or someone new to the world of fake tanning.

- I would have loved another exfoliating mitt. I exfoliate with both hands so I needed to buy another mitt myself.
- Tan soaked it's way into the tanning mitt and stained my fingertips. I didn't expect this to happen because of the waterproof lining and it stained my manicure. (I do travel for long periods of time however and this might have been due to my inability to machine wash the items)
- I feel the quality of products are very cheap. I have bought a replacement mitt and exfoliating glove from my local Boots already as the originals were battered (I top up my tan with a wash off one everyday) and both were not dear but have lasted longer than the items that came with the kit and I wasn't happy about that.
- When I first bought the kit I thought it was a reasonable price as I thought I was buying quality but, I feel now that I've used the products, better quality items should have been included and I feel the price could have been lower.
- This might be a personal issue but I travel for weeks at a time and the bag really really stinks without frequent washing due to the tan sinking into the mitt. (This is not the fault of the brand but, just a feature of waterproof bags and zero ventilation)

The products are not worth the money and although the back Tanner is useful it can be purchased much cheaper on amazon

The luxe bag is quite tacky and marketed as vegan leather but its plastic it’s not even a good quality faux leather.
I feel like overall the launch was suggestive of a fake tan product which I was looking forward to but then it seemed Lydia the owner of the company seemed more interested in her as deals with at tropez than actually creating, owning and working hard to sustain a brand.

The product is terrible, super cheap and worse than anything you could buy in Superdrug! It’s cheap tat from China that Lydia is clearly trying to make a quick buck off. This product is a scam and I can’t believe how much she’s charging for it! I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their money

Seriously? £42 just for only those pieces? I've been watching her videos for a year, and I can't believe that Mrs Millen would cope with her fans and followers with this kind of merch. Similar items with better quality and newbies are sold everywhere at much better price online and offline. Being an active UK fashion vlogger, does she even put her heart into her new line? Honelsy, I didn't stop following her channel and catching up w/ her vlogs until her line was launched.

I watched the Youtube video (by the creator) and what she previewed, is exactly what I received... and exactly what I wanted. The products are perfect for creating a smooth and even self tan. I'm more than a little confused by all the negative (1 star reviews). There was nothing misleading about the product preview, so if you didn't think it was worth buying then WHY purchase.

Poor quality tat from China - I should have known better. Lydia is scamming her customers out of their hard earned money by slapping the word 'luxury' on something that is junk.

It's made of polyester and made in China... doesn't become luxury because you say it is. Also there is a difference between working on something for two years and it taking you two years to get something done.

Bought the Glo By Lydia Elise Millen tan toolkit recently and I have to say I am a little underwhelmed at the contents for the price but the items are simple and usable - which is what I wanted. The reason for my rating of 3 stars is because the box packaging and the vanity case itself arrived damaged: the box being squished in two corners, from being in transit I assume, and the vanity case was squashed so there is a deep dent running vertically along once side. I have brought this all up with customer service and am yet to hear back. Overall I am happy with my order I just wanted to pass on information for future reference for the Glo By Lydia team that maybe they could arrange a more secure transit for orders or something. Thank you.

Terrible quality and overpriced.
The cost of the product with VAT was £50 but somehow I was charged tax on top of that and £15 to deliver to London. I have tried to raise this with the business but all social media comments are switched off. I can only imagine this is because everyone else has been conned by this sham too.

Shocked at the way this company are dealing with customers. A few of my friends purchased the Glo kit, it is not a glo kit, it's just some cheap tanning mitts that you can get on Amazon for a £1, and the zip is faulty on the bag I have, the company have so far ignored all my emails, deleted comments i made on their instagram account, and now they have blocked anyone from commenting on their instagram so you cannot communicate with them at all. Also they changed the name of the product just after launch, so I think we have been illegally sold these products, and I intend to seek advice from Citizens Advice Bureau. Just a rude and disgusting influencer trying to con her fans. Utter disgrace.

I felt the products were over priced for what they are. I could have purchased the same cheaper so feel a little bit let down but will use them now I have purchased them.

Terrible value and quality, very poor customer service. Compant has restricted instagram so that no comments can be added and deleting any comments on brand owners page- this is a sham!
