7-15 days to deliver not been into shop so can’t comment on that and to be fair after checking on the website it did say that however I don’t think moving products inside the UK and delivering them inside the UK should take any more than five working days and there are plenty of fishing places that will deliver within five days. Terribly delivery service Find another Angling store that delivers in less than half a month.

Well I ordered a beachcater,,with a 7-18 day delivery time ,,43 days later it arrived, not only that they promised me a bit of a sweetner in way of an apology but I never received anything, I won't be using them anymore

Ordered items 4 weeks ago. Still missing a spod reel with line and a couple of spods. Have emailed Gerrys several times about this. Last week they told me they would be arriving soon as they were sent seperately from the rod. After telling them they still hadnt arrived i then got told that i have already received them as they had photos of proof of delivery. Complete different story to what they told me the week before.
In fact, the photo of proof of delivery was only of the rod in a tube and nothing else.
This company doesnt know what the left or right hand is doing and so just clearly lie their way through things.
I have contacted them yet again and have had no response as of yet.
The worst customer service i have ever used.
If i could give a 0 star review, i would.

Great customer service

I ordered a 5 piece fishing rod (PENN travel rod) last December as a Christmas present for my partner. Unfortunately the rod snapped after one use and was defective. I contacted the customer service team to get a replacement section and due to not having replacement parts, they have sent me a brand new replacement free of charge. Would highly recommend and I would definitely order again!

I’ve been using Gerry’s for over 20 years, and never had such a bad experience from my recent online purchase!
I was expecting the package within 2 weeks,
I have now been waiting almost 2 months,
No communication no follow up, phone calls put down by the staff and when you do get to speak to someone they are from the wrong department,
I understand there might be a delay but no excuses for the lack of communication,
Took my money but never made sure I got my products,
Shockingly bad customer service looks like it’s back to veals they keep in touch and follow up every order email and phone call!!

I made an order for a few items on the 18 june order no 154698911 and have still not received it. I have tried phoning and all I get is that the lines are busy or your 45th in the queue, so tried emailing only for them to bounce back could not be delivered on 3 different adresses, I tried all variants to make sure it wasnt me.
Still waiting just glad order was not to much.
So that is the reason for the 1 star

I was searching Google for a cheap feeder rod. A sponsored link showed dam x impulse is all it stated. i clicked the link and the item was described as a feeder rod. Mentioned 24ton carbon blank. The delivery mentioned 8 to 15 days delivery time. I checked my order and it stated I had ordered feeder rod tips. Which was not described on the page at all. Ibtried to contact gerrys by phone and by email to stop the delivery but no answer and the item was out for delivery before I even got a reply via email. I rejected the unwanted package. Sent another email stating i want a full refund and also want the postage i paid back. Their reply was just "ok" no sorry for the misleading advert and wrong information on their website. This isn't how you do business.
They gave me the refund upon receiving the package back. But charged me for the postage.
Wrong advertising and wrong item description. I was told to leave this review to make other anglers aware of the situation you could end up in with gerrys.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
I hope you all dont fall into the same trap as I did.

Order placed 4 weeks ago and acknowledgement received. Since then - nothing. 2 emails sent on Monday and Thursday last week - no response. On line contact made on Friday - we’ll get back to you on here or by email and again nothing. Please contact and advise what is happening with my order before I go to my credit card supplier to recover the payment. Not happy!

Ordered 21/6....they state 4-8 days delivery. Not received by 02/7. Cancelled order by email 02/07 - guess they haven't read that email.
Then they send me an email asking " how did we do...hope you're loving your new tackle" CLUELESS

Great products with outstanding customer service & fast delivery service.

I ordered an item from Gerrys Fishing that was clearly advertised on their website as being in stock and available for immediate dispatch. Six weeks later, the order still has not been fulfilled. The only communications I received were brief, vague notifications that the order had been “delayed” — with no proper explanation, no revised delivery date, and very little useful information despite chasing for updates.
This level of service is unacceptable. Advertising items as in stock when they are not, then failing to communicate properly over such a long period, is misleading and frustrating for customers.
I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Gerry’s Fishing online to look elsewhere. The stock information cannot be trusted and the customer service/communication is poor. Very disappointed.

Placed order, was kept informed on my fishing rods journey.when delivered, very well packed in a plastic tube. Have now christened it on clacton pier , caught several bass.very pleased, thank you all.

Acquisto da Gerrysfishing le attrezzature che non trovo in Italia. Anche in questa ultima occasione ho avuto modo di apprezzare la grande professionalità riscontrata in passato. L'attrezzo, in questo caso, è arrivato con un modesto danno, ma sono stato prontamente rimborsato del medesimo. I dazi dalla Gran Bretagna rappresentano, purtroppo, un sovrapprezzo notevole, ma certamente non è attribuibile al negozio, che opera sempre in maniera positiva.

They take orders and your money for stock they don’t have, I orderd and payed for a kenzaki rod and xt8000 reel and was strung along for nearly a month with excuse after excuse “they have 17 days to post”- “on its way from the wearhose” will be in the post tomorrow etc etc etc. they advertise the cheapest gear but don’t have it, stay clear.
What annoyed me most was being strung along..
