I recently leased my first car through GB Leasing and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Chris & Caitie were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process and helped me secure a brand new MG HS Trophy in under two weeks!

As a first-time leaser, I had a lot of questions and worries, but nothing was too much trouble for Chris. He was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt confident and informed every step of the way. His knowledge and reassurance really put my mind at ease.

Once the finance was sorted, Caitie took over with arranging the delivery and was equally brilliant. She went above and beyond to get the car delivered to me as quickly as possible and kept me updated throughout. Both Chris and Caitie were super responsive – replies to my emails came within minutes, which made the process smooth and stress-free.

After receiving some bad experiences writhing the leasing industry from previous companies who broke promises and didn’t have availability of cars they were promoting, I have been absolutely delighted and vey impressed with the service I have received from GB vehicle leasing. From the very start Neil was friendly, honest and delivered exactly what he promised which is exactly what I needed. I then received exceptional support and customer service from Eliza throughout the whole process, who responded very quickly and helped answer every question I had. I picked this company up via Leasing.Com who were showing a decent deal for the car I was after. (a Hyundai). They responded very quickly and actually improved on the deal, which is always a great start. Tyler was dealing with my cases and was first class from start to finish. Very professional indeed. It wasn't all plain sailing though. My application needed to go to underwriting because I am newly retired (2 years) and don't get a monthly payslip which freaks out funders. I am in the best financial shape of my life, but they just can't fit people like me into their template. Anyway, I had to jump through the usual hoops (bank statements, pension and investment valuations and I even applied a letter from my wealth manager). This is where the stress started - GB leasing don't, at the moment, manage expectations at all well. You are left in the dark completely, not even knowing who all your information has gone to. No expectation of how long this could take etc. So, it gets very stressful very quickly. It all came out okay in the end and the car is getting delivered soon, but it left me feeling slightly demeaned, humiliated and that my integrity was being questioned. Whilst not GB Leasing's fault per sé, they do need, and have now committed, to being better at managing expectations on SLAs, being transparent about the funder and generally managing customer experience. This is the reason for the lost star. Not a reflection on Tyler who remained professional, personable and helpful throughout. The post sales admin team have been equally impressive too.
