Bought a b stock item, whiich was damaged during transit. They organised pick up from my work address and gave me a good deal on a new one. Great service.

I have made a number of purchases from GAK over the years, including guitars, and so when I noticed a ‘59’ Reissue LP Murphy Lab’ which looked great and was advertised at a very competitive ‘sale’ price, I was very tempted - but also had no qualms about buying from them, and despite the distance from their Brighton based music store to my home in the NE.
I started by telephoning the store, where the staff are as ever, knowledgeable, professional, polite and friendly - and where after the conversation I was subsequently sent some photos of the guitar, which were taken outside the store in natural light. Needless to say that despite pondering over it for a few days, I was hooked - so phoned them and negotiated a great deal.
As I say, I have bought from them before, and like the last time the guitar duly arrived through the ‘Next-Day’ Courier (DPD), the very next day and with no signs of any adverse handling.
I subsequently opened the dedicated Gibson Shipping Carton, where the guitar case was inside and in perfect ‘new’ condition. I excitedly opened the case, and the guitar was also in perfect condition (‘Murphied’ though of course), and it actually looked even better in the flesh than in the photos - where I was also amazed to find that the guitar was further still completely in-tune despite travelling all the way from Brighton to the NE via a courier (full marks to DPD too). I was also so pleased to find that all the original tags as well as the Gibson Custom-Shop Certificate, were all safely packed inside the guitar case compartment.
All-in-all I got a great deal, and great buying experience from GAK, as I have always previously done too - and I will most certainly be buying from them again in the future! 👍🏼

Served by a guy in the audio section who was rude and aggressive over a faulty product. Will not be buying from here again.

Beware of GAK.
They use DPD who fail to deliver the items on the correct day then say the customer wasn’t in. Total lies.
They then say collect from a locker.
I ordered an amp and it’s now lost.
I was going to order a Gibson Les Paul from them but not now. Pathetic service from GAK & DPD.
Save yourself the other and shop else where.

The guys were very helpful, speedy service and delivery. The best music shop around!
