My experience with G2’s review process has been extremely disappointing. Even after providing detailed explanations, describing my usage clearly, and even submitting proof such as company login screenshots, they still kept asking for “more clarification” without telling me which specific part needed improvement. Despite giving every piece of information requested, they continue to reject the review and repeatedly ask to “elaborate more,” without any guidance on what to fix. This makes the process frustrating, unclear, and unnecessarily difficult. If G2 expects highly detailed reviews, they should at least communicate the exact areas that require updates so users can correct them properly.

Companies BE AWARE! They mark the reviews as incentivized and they dont send the incentive. My review was approved and is publicly labeled as “incentivized,” yet no reward was issued, and my rewards page still shows “review not approved.”

G2 Support told me I wasn’t “one of the first” to submit, despite the incentive being displayed upfront and the review marked as rewarded.

This is misleading and creates a poor user experience. Others should be aware before participating in incentivized campaigns on G2.

UPDATE: After G2’s public reply here asking me to open a ticket, I did exactly that using my G2 account (username: yasseral). The ticket was ignored, and shortly after, my access to the G2 Help Center was suspended without any explanation.

I created only one ticket, related to this issue, and there was no violation or spam of any kind. The suspension itself is extremely unusual and makes it impossible to resolve the reward discrepancy.

To recap:
• The review was approved and publicly marked as incentivized
• No reward was issued
• My rewards page still shows “review not approved”
• Support said I wasn’t “one of the first,” despite the incentive being displayed before writing the review
• After following their instructions and opening a ticket, my support access was disabled

This experience raises concerns about transparency around incentivized reviews and reviewer support. I’m still hoping G2 will resolve this and issue the incentive that was originally offered

Es una estafa, compré un año de Spotify el 18 de noviembre 2025 y hoy 21 de noviembre 2025 ha dejado de funcionar.
El correo y la contraseña en la plataforma no son válidas.
El vendedor se desentiende diciendo que es por no se qué de la plataforma pero ni me da otra cuenta ni reembolso del dinero.
Obviamente he denunciado por PayPal y el lunes tomaré medidas legales e iré a la oficina del consumidor a denunciar a g2a

G2 emails people asking for reviews and explicitly stating they will send gift cards for it. No exceptions mentioned. You spend 15 minutes of your life on it and they say "sorry, you're not one of the first ones to respond".
Also, the reviews are heavily reworded with AI. I accepted them because I don't feel like fighting the AI and will take the cash incentive after spending my time, but I wouldn't trust G2's reviews if I was a consumer of the site.

Had trouble at first because the identity check kept failing and support wasn't clear, So submitting a review was frustating. But after I raised the issue again, they finally fixed it properly and things went smoother

this site collects data and moderates the reviews. Totally unethical and heavily biased

Could not connect, access denied, 404 errors, chat bot didn't work, this is a terrible product and you write reviews on it, com'on.

Dicen que lo que me han vendido es una cuenta, una cuenta 60 euros, quien paga por una cuenta... si son gratis? Y para que ponen la foto del juego ? Para confundir y engañar a la gente y que lo envían mediante una cuenta? Es una estafa. No compren nada por aquí. Lógicamente voy a denunciar el tema. Quiero que me devuelvan mí dinero. Por muchos correos que les mando la respuesta es la misma que ya me han enviado el producto. MENTIRA. En la cuenta no hay nada, ni me mandan instrucciones para descargarlo ni nada de nada. Es una pagina que engaña y estafa a la gente. Mucho cuidado.

I recently received an invitation email from deel & G2, as my company uses an HR app called deel, inviting me to write a review on G2 in exchange for a $25 gift card.

The message stated that once my review was approved, I would receive another email with instructions on how to redeem the reward.

I invested considerable time and effort in crafting a detailed, genuine review based entirely on my personal experience. I even attached a screenshot to verify my authenticity as a real user.

My review was subsequently approved, and I received an email confirming this approval.

However, there was no mention of the promised gift card or redemption process. When I reached out to customer support for clarification, I was met with a response stating that my review was deemed “not based on a genuine experience”. I therefore did not qualify for approval—even though it had already been approved, and that I had submitted proof of my usage.

This situation feels deeply misleading and unprofessional. I followed every instruction carefully, provided evidence, and engaged in good faith. Yet, not only was the promised incentive withheld, but I also discovered that even after deleting my account, my review would remain on the platform, beyond my control. (By neglecting data protection and user control, this service fails to meet modern standards. )

Such practices are deceptive and undermine user trust. I strongly advise others to refrain from participating in these so-called review reward programs, as they appear to be nothing more than a scam.

I’ve spent over $200 on three Steam accounts here — including orders #1758914087757OMOS and #1732745955293LHJ5 — and every single one was reclaimed by the original owner within days. The sellers promise the accounts are “safe” and “permanent,” but they just take them back after a short time.

G2G’s so-called “insurance” system (around 14 days) is part of the scam. The scammers know exactly how to use it — they wait until the period ends, then steal the accounts again, while G2G says, “Sorry, it’s out of insurance.” That’s their game.

Support is useless. They only send copy-paste messages like “we’re sorry, please contact us,” even when you already have. They never refund, they never ban the sellers, and they let the same scammers keep selling again and again.

This is not a mistake — it’s a scammer system built to look official. G2G protects sellers, not buyers. I’ve reported everything, and still nothing changes.

And I already know what they’ll do after this review — they’ll reply here with the same fake apology, pretending to care. Don’t fall for it.

DO NOT BUY FROM G2G. You’ll lose your money and your account. This site is a scam, and their “insurance” is a trap.

I don't understand this company. You submit a review, but even after multiple screenshots, your review still hasn't been approved. Maybe they require the third party to pay for review approval. Come on, G2.

I love this because they give better service.

I asked Chat GPT how my company could be higher up in a search, and one of the sources it listed for improving was "get high ranking reviews on G2." I had never heard of this site before, but thought I'd give it a try.

First, it looks like it's not legit to me. Something about the styling, the old look of the website, the lay out, the content...just altogether makes it feel like a scammy site to me. I went ahead any way to see if next steps created any concern for me.

Second, I created an account and they asked for a verification process. I was unable to verify myself using the email and link they sent. I don't know why. I reached out for help and received no response. I then received reminder emails to verify my account, and responded asking for help, but they were "no reply" emails. I reached out for help via their website contact and received no response.

After about a month, I decided I would try again, and this time I used a more general email for my business instead of my personal email and created a new account. Same problem. I could not verify the account and I could not get help.

It seems that they really want something else, and I don't know what that is. Given how scammy the site looks, I'm not willing to keep trying. Hopefully AI searches will stop using this site for authoritative information about businesses.

G2's competitors are very easy to work with and seem more legitimate in every way.

They will happily offer money for your review, and after you put time into the review, tell you you were too late. Despite never stating a time limit or number of reviews from others.

This company baits you into writing a review by offering gift cards. After spending time and effort submitting a review etc they will say no gift cards are available. Save your time and don't review.

Really disappointing experience as a professional reviewer. Promises of token reward to invest time into reviews and then no rewards emerge. What a total waste of time. Account deleted and totally do not trust.

Solicit review with payments and then don't pay. Avoid leaving reviews here and don't trust the ones that are up. A paid review collector.

G2 is my go-to place for checking out software before I buy. The reviews are from real users, not just marketing hype. It's saved me from making bad decisions a few times. Really useful.
