Great user interface to scout and invest in pre ipo opportunities. But the post purchase stages are a little hazy. Hope they work on streamlining it.

I appreciate the breadth of investment opportunities presented to me. I love to invest in small businesses who want to make an impact to our society. I receive regular updates from the startup owners and I feel that we are on the journey together.

The only glitches I experienced was the payment process. In my last RRSP investments, I signed all the authorization forms asap but still missed or almost missed the deadlines. My email inquiries were not responded until I picked up the phone and called two different parties to sort them out.

Purchasing the investments are fairly painless but note that each opportunity is quite different in what you are purchasing (not all are "shares"). And the timeline for capital return can stretch out, so your money is doing nothing possibly for years.
The website is straightforward and hopefully will be able to track the progress of your investments going forward.

I really appreciate that FrontFundr brings opportunities to non-institutional investors who want to invest in private businesses. Without very deep pockets and exceptional connections, it is extraordinarily difficult to get in at the initial building phase of a business. Frontfundr solves this problem.

There is a wide spectrum of businesses represented, and at different developmental stages. So I could find a few businesses that fit my risk appetite, my desire to invest in green businesses, as well as my return on investment expectations.
I also appreciate that Frontfundr has done some investigation of the businesses before they are accepted. That the businesses are Canadian is another plus.
